Nice waterfront location, quiet, with lots to do in area, and for the most part my group of 10 had fun. But the house had some problems. Beds were uncomfortable. Two of my guests left and checked into a motel because of beds and stuffy bedrooms (no AC in bedrooms). Another left a day early for same reason. Smell of mold was omnipresent in house. Other maintenance issues in the house. A rowboat was promised in the listing but it was unusable. I wouldn't recommend this place unless the above problems get fixed. Otherwise a nice place.

The property was less than clean - food scraps on the floors, hairpins on the bathroom floor. At the end of our trip we had an infestation of small bugs/fleas - they swarmed in one room and covered the sheets in one of the rooms. when we contacted the homeowner and local contact they provided incredibly insulting and poor customer service. They finally agreed after a very long and disagreeable conversation he agreed to provide us with a refund. Today 7/28 is 3 days post departure and we have not received any communication about this agreement. I could not recommend this property/owner to anyone. A great vacation was spoiled by this interaction on out last evening - responsive and professional customer service are a critical part of rental process and they provided neither!
