About this villa rental
Villa la Pistrice is perfectly integrated in the characteristic historical centre of Positano, an eighteenth-century stately villa. A treasure of unique charm in a quiet position in the centre of Positano. The access through a typical alley does not let you imagine that around the corner you will find a villa with an impressive patio and a hidden garden overlooking the roofs of Positano and the sea.
The entrance to the villa is through a large patio. Entering the villa it is surprising to discover an ancient and authentic wood-burning oven that has remained incredibly intact over the years.
Continuing on the opposite side you find the living room and dining room until you reach a kitchen illuminated by a large window from which you access the terrace covered by a pergola of grapes to give shade to the outdoor table.
An imposing stone staircase with vaulted ceilings decorated with bas-reliefs leads to the upper floor where the four main bedrooms are located, all with access to the panoramic terrace.
Villa la Pistrice is an ideal place for those who wish to immerse themselves in the life of Positano as a local. All sorts of public services are within walking distance, from shops to a wide choice of restaurants. The bus stop is within walking distance and although a car is not necessary, the villa has a private garage where you can park two small/medium cars.
