Location great. A little more upscale than we like.

It was such a nice stay with many conveniences nearby, restaurants, movie theaters and casino.

I asked for a hypoallergenic room and the staff did a fantastic job with this request; synthetic aromas were nonexistent. I super appreciated this.
This hotel is close to the Magnificent Mile, so there are lots of sirens throughout the night. You might want to consider this if you're a light sleeper.

The location was good and the staff friendly and helpful! The price was higher than usual due to demand (I guess)
I was surprised with a $25/ day + tax charge - urban experience fee at the end of the 2 nights (& glad my visit this time was not longer) I have stayed in Chicago a lot and never heard of this fee before! which means I probably wont stay again!

Staff and location—high marks. Our room was “quirky”—a mirror in the shower; only found one outlet that was useable. Phone and clock between the beds were not plugged in and the outlets were behind a built-in headboard that we could not see or get to.Not sure how to explain……TV was set to Spanish so we couldn’t read instructions. If we did find a station in English, the tv would randomly switch to Spanish. Mostly, the tv stuff made us laugh, but the lack of working outlets was frustrating. Bed was comfortable. Again, thanks to the staff who made our check-in and check-out very pleasant.

An amazing experience. You get to sleep amongst amazing art. The service is impeccable and the room is quite beautiful. Ask for a high floor!

The hotel is so cute and the exhibits are a really great touch. I enjoyed perusing them. The room itself was small, but cozy, with plenty of light and a seating area. Hotels don’t usually have an overhead light, so I was pleasantly surprised when I flipped the switch. They have standard in-room offerings, coffee/water, but nothing more (no snacks or minibar). I liked that there were mirrors throughout the room and the bed was comfy. The restaurant (Lure Fishbar), was good and vibey. The only drawback was after dinner, we took the rest of our drinks to head to the room and get ready for our next stop and where chased down by a staffer saying the liquor license was only for the restaurant/bar and we couldn’t take our drinks up, which was inconvenient, we had to go back and finish them at the bar. That had never happened to me before. Another thing my husband noted, was that the hallways felt a bit dingy and dark (It’s dark paint and dimmer lighting) and a housekeeping cart sat outside in the hallway all day and never moved overnight. 🤔
Over all, the staff and room were great and the stay was worth the price for the area. It was a 3 minute walk to Starbucks Reserve and the Magnificent Mile.

Great place! Our room was very clean. The staff at the front desk was very nice. Our room had a couple of little quirks like the fragrance was a little too strong for me, personally, it was a little too dark, the shower head was broken so the water came out like a stream, Also, the blinds were broken. Other than that, It's in great proximity to the magnificent Mile, lake/canal and the Starbucks reserve which was really nice to walk to every morning. I would consider staying here again!

We have stayed at other 21C properties and had exceptional service and experiences, until this time. We seemed to have been an interruption to the front desk staff at check in instead of welcomed guests. After reaching our room with a nonfunctional refrigerator and not stocked mini-bar, we were informed it was due COVID from a few years ago. The last straw was when we entered the attached restaurant, that is independent from the hotel’s ownership, and the staff here asked for our drink and food discounts from the hotel. We never received these vouchers at check in. When asking the front desk at 21C about this, we were again met with sighs and eye rolls as they slapped out our vouchers and abruptly turn away. Never did we hear any staff member offer assistance or apologies for any of these incidents. We have even tried to reach a manager through their website to hopefully allow them to understand and be aware of these behaviors, but have not had any responses.

The hotel itself was ok, walking distance from most things. The beds were very low to the ground and felt like laying on a plastic cover. You could hear everything through the windows at night. The fridge was very small and used for only beverages. No microwave. Room service took out shower mat and didn’t replace it. The elevators during checkout were terrible. 2 small elevators is all, waited 15 minutes before decided to haul everything down the stairs. The museum aspect was made to believe there was more of an attraction. And they charge you a “resort fee” for the museum.
Will never book again.

We were a little disappointed, it’s run down and rooms smell musty. Valet parking is a mini fortune of $75 per night. Not as modern as other 21c’s in other cities. Super noisy from the street at night, but not unbearable. Staff was super friendly.

The price is too high for what you get, the room was large, the bed was small, couch hard as a rock, shower was lousy(couldn't use soap or shampoo because of shower head angle), no microwave, weird refrigerator, had two telephone sized elevators, one of which was broken, for a 12 story building, no breakfast and maint (carpet, walls, bathroom paint was behind). Property was conveniently located.

This hotel was not terrible, but not great either. Our room was nice and felt relatively clean. However, outside of the room, the hotel was sort of dirty. The elevators are extremely slow and old, they are also small considering the size of the hotel. The location is great, but this hotel is honestly overpriced for what it is. There is literally a AC Hotel across the street that is far better with more amenities for about the same price of this one. I personally will not be staying in this hotel or any 21c Museum hotel again. There is just better in this area for close to the same price range.

It felt dingy and gross. A few days before my stay, I upgraded to a room with a city view and ended up with a room with a window that looked out to a concrete wall. I thought I was going to have a panic attack. The room felt cramped and closed in so I called the front desk and they moved me to another room (A corner room) which I had to pay $45 more dollars for. The experience was kind of a bummer considering it was my birthday and I had higher expectations because I stayed at the 21C Museum hotel in Oklahoma City and it was WAY nicer. I'd say the Chicago version of this hotel feels more like a dorm.

It was good. Bed was comfortable and I liked the sitting area in the room with separate tv. Problem is the AC was super loud and kept us up and the elevator was out the whole time so only one was working. We had to take the stairs 9 flights a couple times.
