My stay was warm and cozy. Security in the lobby and employees were professional.

The hotel was decent for the price, though the room looked slightly different from the photos. The location was excellent, conveniently close to restaurants and the metro. On our first night, we spotted a cockroach upon arrival but were promptly offered a better room, which we appreciated. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I would rate it as a good hotel.

The staff was absolutely amazing and so helpful. The lobby was decorated for Christmas too!! This was a perfect location for our little getaway. It’s a older hotel but very nice. My only complaint was the balcony door had lots of cold air seeping through but we just turned up the heat!

Room was very tight. Tv very small

I've been staying at this hotel for over 2 decades when visiting DC for business. I've never had a bad stay per se. My only complaint is that housekeeping didn't dust and clean the room to their normal standard.
Other than that, the staff is always professional and friendly.

It was my first time at the Washington Plaza . Can’t find enough words to praise the staff . Super helpful , kind and seem to enjoy their job .
The hotel is dated but is very clean and located near the international organization I was working for .
The only negative is the very mediocre taste of its food and a very limited breakfast menu.
Everything else was excellent . Treasure in the front desk is a true Treasure !
I’ll return soon .

The staff was beyond amazing. Room was huge and comfortable. Rooms are basically sound proof because it is in a high traffic area. For thw price of the night i thought parking was included, but it was $50.

The property is centrally located to many of the city's attractions. The staff members were great and the property was extremely clean. The underground parking was a plus. Would definitely stay again, especially in the summer so that their outdoor pool could be utilized.

The location was great, centrally located but not to close to be crowded by tourists. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and efficient with good views. Exactly what I wanted for the price I paid

Great place! Easy walking distance to the White House, National Mall, everything. Metro station is less than 10 minute walk. Great staff, clean, comfy. Great view from the window.

Nice Hotel, very friendly staff.
Hotel is a little old though, and could use some modernisation. For example, it doesnt matter or you close the windows, the streetnoise is exactly the same as with the windows open. I do think this hotel is good value

The front desk staff customer service lacked luster

The place is amazing, great hospitality, nice location.
I would recommend to room charge to include breakfast, rather than having to pay again for breakfast.

The service was fantastic. The place overall is a little dated but clean which is all that really matters. I’d stay here again. Reasonably priced too.

The hotel is located near lots of restaurants, especially on 14th Street. Also like that it’s walkable and easy to use scooters to move around. Recommend this for DC, can save a lot of time and see more. The hotel is comfortable, but not recently renovated. I would stay here again. Service is great.

Good hotel central to everything. Below street parking is worth the extra $50/night. Food is quite decent and not overpriced by DC standards.
I do wish there was complimentary coffee in the lobby for the mornings though i did appreciate the in-room coffee pot was larger than most hotels (4 cups vs 1-2)

Service was outstanding. Room was comfortable and had a great view. Only issue was the hot water for showering. Difficult to find the right temp and would randomly go cold if the shower was too long.

I traveled with two senior citizens, we were all very happy with the hotel and service received. The staff was friendly and competent, hotel clean and classy, and the food was delicious. Lastly as everyone else has mentioned the beds are so very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this hotel

nice location, but not many restaurants in the area.
Ask for a room on the upper floors as there can be quite a bit of road noise

The staff is the only saving grace for this hotel!! EVERY single staff member was amazing, friendly, helpful and kind. The room however was the absolute WORST. Aside from being outdated, our room was not clean. Toilet paper hadn’t been refilled in the bathroom. Dead bugs smeared on the ceilings and walls, dirt in the bathroom sink. Not to mention the extremely hard and uncomfortable mattress. I’d expect conditions like this at a motel or cheap hotel chain, but for over $700 for 2 nights I was expecting a much better experience and at minimum a clean room. Super disappointed and this will be our first and last visit.

Sarah at the hotel bar was amazing. Best part of our stay! Information at check in was limited which caused confusion at check out around parking. The location is prime and the balcony was a huge plus.
