The rooms feel like a hell, no AC just heater, too hot for sleep. The shower doesn’t work properly, parking lot is terrible, $45 per night and it’s too hard to park in a really small space. Lobby really clean and staff really nice.

Construction. Parking a mess. Bad attitude at front desk.

The hotel is under renovation, and there are just 2 elevators from the main floor, on complete opposite ends, that are a bit small and slow. 2 people in our group had to take one elevator as far as it would go, then walk our and find another elevator to get to their floor. We were all spread out across the hotel despite having our rooms under one reservation.
Upon check in, 2 people in our group were given room keys for rooms that already had people staying in there. Super awkward to open the door to another couple lying in bed!! Another room in our group made the trek with her 2 kids up to the room to find her key didnt work and had to haul her 2 kids and their luggage back down to get a new key.
Parking is EXTREMELY CHALLENGING! We had large SUVs for our group and the parking garage had construction materials all over the place, the spots were pretty tight , had to do a 20 pt turn to get the vehicle into a spot.
Once we finally got into our rooms, we were very pleased with how large the rooms were. We all had reserved 2 king bed rooms and there was more than enough space in there.
The bathrooms were TINY! Couldn’t even open the door all the way before it hit the bathtub, hoping that is a part of construction, expanding the bathrooms.
We ate at the restaurant downstairs and it was very good, however one of our kids meals did not come out until everyone had finished eating.
The remodel looks like it is going to be very nice.

Old, worn-down Hotel.
Terrible layout; had to change elevators mid-way to get to my room.
Only one elevator per section, which was also occupied by staff (maintenance and house keeping).
I had to change rooms after the first night, due to maintenance issues.
Waited for hours before my room was ready after arrival, despite checking in the day before. Room ready at 19:00 local.
Good location, convenient, and friendly staff.
Hotel Lobby has been refurbished, which was nice.
Parking garage was very cramped, and limited. Also overpriced at $45 per night.
Generally very overpriced hotel, for its age, features, and layout.

I don’t usually take the time to leave a review, but this was such a disappointment that I felt it should share.
Good: the lobby and the front desk staff were great. The food in the lobby cafe was great. Such a great area.
Bad: we booked a two king bed and lugged all our stuff up a tiny elevator that we had to wait for ten minutes and then traverse through half the hotel hallways to take another elevator, to open the room to one king bed and a couch.
I had to wait for the elevators again to get back down and all they were able to provide was that room or a room with two queen beds. There is no way those beds were queen size. I will never use hotels.com again.

The staff at valet and check in were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the cookies at check in and the doggy treat bag. It felt like a 5 star experience all through the stay with text's to check in on us and to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great hotel staff, nice rooms, great views from rooms, ski-in, ski-out.

The room was not stocked and smelled like smoke. It took 5 calls and begging to finally get a crib delivered to the room at 12:30 AM it finally showed up! Horrible experience will never stay here again

The property is undergoing remodeling. The remodeled area are beautiful. However, there are areas where you walk through a construction area.
They charged $45.00/day/car to park your car in their garage. An additional fee that I was not expecting. Boo!
There are no coat hangers in the room or coat rack. If you are expecting to hang your sport jackets, dresses, coats, pants up... don't expect it.
The room lacked luggage carts or luggage table to put your bag on, so you had to leave your bag on the floor to access clothing.
Lastly, the room didn't have a microwave oven to warm up drinks or food.

Pros: friendly staff, big, clean rooms, close to ski lift.
Cons: $45 a night for parking, indoor parking gets full quickly and must park in overflow across street, $28 low quality continental breakfast, no hot water for an entire day, no gym, no on-site hot tub (must exchange room key and walk across street), hot tub closes at 8pm (usually other hotels do 10 or 11), weird loud noise like an AC unit trying to start throughout the day and night, and paper thin walls (kids yelling and crying at 4am on one side and music playing past midnight on the other), ongoing renovation.

If I could give zero’s, I would. You would walk by a hand full of employees and not 1 word would be spoken. More concerned with laughing and goofing around. Had to take a magical journey to another dimension of hotel life to get to my room. 2 hotel elevator and 10 minutes of walking? I felt like I was in a slum. It smelled like febreeze covering up mold. Someone left a used tag in a chair in our room. The carpet was sticky. The bed was very well made. The concrete pad you called a mattress was a wonderful experience trying to sit up this morning. I will never return to that “resort” again. Hiltonhotels should fire every one of you except the 50ish year old black man. He worked every second he was at work. He never stopped. Give that man a raise.

We liked the location and convenience of the property, however our experience with our room was not the best. My friend was walked in on by staff 3 times, indecent every time. She was upset and afraid to be alone in the room after that. We had went to the front desk about it, and they tried justifying the staff's mistake, and didn't do anything but tell us "sorry." While we were at the desk telling them about the incident, our friend had texted us from the room saying it had happened again. They said they were running low on "do not disturb" signs but did not try to accommodate us with any other options for our door. We had put a chair against the door as our last resort. Our safety latch on our door was also broken off when we arrived, and that was never acknowledged in the conversations I had with management. Our television did not work the majority of our stay. After calling the front desk (which I had to do from my own phone because the room phone also didn't work) and speaking to managers 4 different times about it during the duration of our stay, we finally got a new tv brought to us at 9pm the night before we checked out. Wayne in maintenance was very helpful and responsive to this, and apologetic about the wait. On top of that, we didn't have hot water and had to take cold showers during our stay. They told us they were unable to refund or discount any part of our stay. We just wish they would've tried harder to accommodate for the many inconveniences.

Entry is at one end of hotel, but only elevator is clear at far end of hotel and is small and slow. Depending on room location you will need to trudge a couple hundred yards to elevator, wait a while then walk all the way back to room on you floor. No skis of boots allowed in hotel, concierge service available. Very nice entryway, but halls under construction, old, no ceiling, just wires and pipes. Have to walk through construction area to get to only elevator.
8.0 / 10.0
It was a little wonky that we had to take an elevator to 7 & then go through a hall maze to get to another elevator to get up to the 8th floor. Not sure what happened with the key, but we had a couple people try to walk into our room with their key. Parking is VERY limited!

Property was very poorly maintained. Be aware there is very little parking and it’s $45 a night.

Wow. I don’t know where to start with this property. The staff was great and we’re very apologetic, as they don’t own this hotel. Looks are always deceiving when you see the nice fire out front with seating. Upon check-in, you begin to head off to no man’s land. You have to take two filthy elevators to find your room. Walking at least a quarter mile to your room, and these rooms are so old. There’s no TV to speak of, the heating was loud and inefficient. You are not able to reach the restaurant to get food, and if you do, they pick up and then you are disconnected. $45 to park, and the parking has actually two lots but you are not told that. Signs are misleading as they point to the parking lot underneath, but when you’re finding that your car is not there, you come back and take another elevator to another section and walk out to another filthy area. G sorry, can’t say enough bad stuff about this place. On the plus side, the bed was pretty comfortable. But because they only have a single blanket on your bed with a sheet covering it, the heat that they have is insufficient.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Hilton franchise hotel. I booked a room for 5 adults with 2 queen beds and a sofa using Expedia. However, upon arriving at the room, I only saw 2 queen beds. After noticing this, I went back to the front desk.
A young man at the front desk was very nice by the way , and informed me that he would ask the manager to change me to a room with 2 beds and a sofa. The manager, whose name is Jonathan, responded in a very nasty way, telling me that I needed to fit the 5 adults into two beds, and if I wanted a sofa, I would need to pay extra.
I explained to them that it was impossible to fit my wife and my 20, 22, and 24-year-old sons in two queen beds. Their response, without even looking at my face, was that they had seen other guests do it before. My reaction was just to laugh and tell him not to take me as a joke.
The manager then left the counter, leaving me talking to the young man at the counter who didn't even know what to say. I called Expedia, and they quickly contacted the hotel to speak with this guy, Jonathan, who refused to change the room. At this point, Expedia's customer service credited my account for the difference and took care of the problem. Expedia rocks! Hilton manager, you have no idea what the word 'hospitality' means."

This is my fourth year staying here, and I have to admit that I was disappointed. The hotels location, being close to town and a few steps from the slopes are awesome. However, the hotel is being renovated, and I’m sure that when it’s complete it will be outstanding, but as it is the rate they are charging is waaay over priced.
The lobby is beautiful, but the rest of the building has a long way to go. We stayed on the 8th floor and the elevator broke down several times. We had to request things like towels and toilet paper several times, because maid service didn’t replace those items when they made up the room every morning. Then it took hours to get those things after making the request. The water pressure in the shower was really low, especially the hot water.
The hot tubs are not available because that area is being remodeled, which I understand. But they should mention that when booking.
The lack of a hotel shuttle is really unacceptable of a hotel in this price range. The walk into town isn’t bad, but the uphill walk coming back sucks!
The “ski concierge was new this year and worked very well. It was great not having to lug my skis to my room every evening.
I am planning on going back to Breckenridge again in about a month, but I will definitely look into staying somewhere else…at least until the renovations are complete.

Absolutely horrible, would never stay there or suggest anyone to stay here. The fire alarm went off multiple times- at 7:30 AM every morning the maids were talking so loudly next to our door but coincidently never cleaned our room once in four days-we complained about the poor conditions the GM said he would comp us another4 day stay but of course he never did- it doesn’t matter because we wouldn’t go back, even for free!

Great location. Hotel is under construction and the elevator situation is a mess
4.0 / 10.0
The attendants were hard to understand, very quietly spoken. Our room wasn't ready until after 5pm. Hallways were windy, kind of crazy, rooms were dated. Taking the elevator to floor 7, then winding over to another elevator to get to floor 8 is really off-putting. For the price I certainly expected a well put together hotel, this is NOT that.

This hotel is under remodel construction, yes the lobby looks pretty but the rest is a dirty mess. Not disclosed when booking. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else

With the exception of the lobbey, hotel is run down.
- Room was hot and cooling function of thermostat did not work.
- Bed slept hot and bed and pillows were uncomfortable
- Key card was stopped functioning a full day
before checkout and had to be reprogrammed.

It was a great location. However, the parking was a little tricky.

The first two nights were fine. Nice room but on 7th floor in a hotel tower. I requested a lower room but could not get one. on the 3rd day (Saturday) the elevator to the 7th floor broke and no estimate to repair was given. I was in a health recovery mode, 80 years old, and unable to climb stairs; so I had no choice but to check out one day early. Great Location and I may use again.
The hotel was in a renovation mode, so some facilities were not available.
3.0 / 10.0
The hotel is under construction and has room for improvement. Confusing layout to navigate and 2 staff members directed us to incorrect towers and floors. Only a few tv channels. No one present to open the grab and go section in the AM, 20 mins after it was supposed to open. Not many amenities, expensive parking fee. Pros - early check in no problem, great menu/food at restaurant on site.

The Argentinian staff was awesome friendly, outgoing, helpful, and smiley downside. They're under construction. The room is great perfect for us. We didn't mind any of it.

If you’re looking to have a really bad experience, I strongly recommend that you book this hotel! Seriously, it was bad any and in many ways absurd!
2.0 / 10.0
Hotel and pool weren't working, elevator was broken and we had to carry our stuff up 6 flights of stairs, TV in room wasn't fully working, no chocolate chip cookies either day. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Staff was nice but couldn't make up for all of the issues
10.0 / 10.0
Great place to visit
4.0 / 10.0
Lobby is great. Under construction, they should give free parking while under construction.
2.0 / 10.0
Under construction, dusty, dirty, mold on humidifier, used and soiled toilet paper, dead cockroaches, running toilet noises all night long and unexperienced staff.
2.0 / 10.0
The property was in the middle of a remodel. It was supposed to be completed by the time we arrived except for pool and hot tub which was fine. The hotel wasn't anywhere near completion, couldn't check in until after check-in time. Tried to talk to manager multiple times but was told she went home and no one could help us. Terrible experience, especially for the price. I also voiced a complaint and no one has bothered to call me back. I have stayed at the hotel numerous time and have always had a great experience but not this time and no cared.
2.0 / 10.0
I rarely rate anything below a 4, I always try to find the positive in each situations. However, I was highly disappointed in this property, I could have saved a lot of money & just stayed at a best western. From computer errors, and housekeeping issues, to inexperienced staff, to having to call daily to the front desk for housekeeping supplies, to taking the stairs because the elevator is so slow & other large families are waiting.
Call before you book to make sure the property is fully operational, there was no pool, no fitness, and the coffee bar just opened. They say construction will be complete in September. Double Tree & Hilton need to improve their trainings and up their game if they want to charge Pebble Beach prices.
