About this house rental
This is a completely remodeled Craftsman Bungalow with lots of great outdoor and indoor space. There are many separate cool outdoor and indoor spaces to gather or find solitude. It was extensively updated in May 2021, It's within minutes of downtown and features a beautiful kitchen, hot tub, 70 inch TV Room, Sonos System, x box, TV upstairs, surround sound, 1 go fiber internet, theater downstairs, bedrooms and plenty of room to spread out. There is a 600 Square foot Deck overlooking the Backyard and surroundings on the main floor and even an outside TV. There are two bedrooms with Queen beds upstairs. The upstairs bathroom is Jack andJill style meaning it is directly accessed through the bedrooms but not the hallway. There is another bed with a queen bed in the daylight basement on the other side of the TV Room. My house is located within steps to a gourmet grocery store, restaurants, dispensaries, and a block from the River and Willamette park.
Inside the home you'll find three full baths. We have one clawfoot tub and designer tile and recessed lighting throughout all done to period. There's a great lighted arbor in front where you'll get a nice feel for the Portland experience and friendly people.
Some great activities and stores are within walking distance to this house. We are one block away from the river. Also, Zupan's gourmet grocery store is fifty yards away. Willamette Park and the river are 2 blocks away. There are tennis courts, playgrounds, a boat dock, and bike path there. There's a place to rent paddle boards a block away.
This home is ideal for a family.
There is a Ring Video camera doorbell on the outside of the front door, garage, shop, and on the door of the ADU in the backyard.
There is a small 200 square foot Private office on the back of the property which guests won't have access to and is completely fenced and shielded from the main house through gates. In that case you wouldn’t have access to the full backyard behind the bamboo fences which close as that would be my emergency shelter. That is unlikely. You're welcome to double check with me if that is of a concern . There is an outdoor fire pit, a larger section of yard, a covered deck.
3 day minimum on Federal Holidays next to a weekend. If you’re a nervous traveler, don’t like driving in the wind, rain, or snow, are concerned with your health please purchase trip insurance. I can’t afford to provide that service myself for last minute cancellations when it is readily available.

We stayed for a family function. It was great to have space for all of us! We really enjoyed the outdoor space!

We enjoyed our stay and had a great girls weekend! Tom was very quick to respond and accommodated all of our needs. We enjoyed his recommendations as well including Zupan Market and Cafe du Berry. Highly recommend!

Great towels, hot tub, kitchen (well stocked for cooking), back deck (off kitchen), backyard, front porch and rec room in basement. The shower on the main level below the bedrooms was unusual. Also, the bunk bedroom that opened into the upstairs bathroom didn’t work well for adult kids. Finally the street parking was inconsistent, but the location worked well for us, so it was successful.

And we loved the deck! Flowers were gorgeous. The bedroom with the bunkbeds is really tiny and didn't feel like a fourth bedroom - more of a closet with bunks. The rest of the house is very comfortable and nice!

This little home was very welcoming. We had 6 adults and everyone was very comfortable.

We were staying in Portland for a graduation. Nice location to get into downtown and surrounding areas quickly, and quiet, safe neighborhood to run in during the early morning!
The only suggestions to help improve our stay would have been screens on the bedroom windows so we could open them at night for circulation, and to clean the washing machine as it smells like mold. Otherwise, awesome experience!

Great Laid Back House and Vibe
We really loved this property. We travel a lot together (2 families of 4) and one of the adults declared this house his favorite house yet. The deck and patio areas are amazing.

sad but good
The house was great. it was to be the first time we had your 3 kids together since 2019. covid and flu prevented two of them from traveling. We did enjoy our 3 year old grandson. maybe next time

Convenient location
The house was clean and comfortable. Awesome spot to hang out on the deck or lounge and watch TV comfortably. 3 minute walk to the grocery store which was very convenient. Tom messaged back with any questions that we had in a timely manner. No complaints

Regatta Weekend
The location was fabulous. The house was extremely dirty. There were bugs all over the house. There were mouse droppings on the kitchen counters. All of the kitchen drawers were dirty. We had to rewatch the dishes before we use them. The oven did not work and the dryer had to be run several times to dry a load. The heater and sound system were great. The downstairs entertainment system were great. We enjoyed the hot tub.

Family Fun in Portland!
My family had an absolutely wonderful stay! Property location is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown and a short walk to the river walk. Manager was very responsive and helpful.

Nice craftsman home
A true craftsman and well-stocked but the house could have used a solid scrubbing. Also, it would have been nice to know about the cat beforehand. He was very cute and sweet but one of us is allergic so we couldn't a whole lot for him.
