Friendly John and wonderful private deck, and beautiful neighborhood!
A bit dated inside though cute.

The host John, was very accommodating. He gave me a place to store my bike and helped when I couldn't get my front door to close. The location was very quiet and restful but located a short walk from downtown. Comparatively speaking, the price to stay was reasonable.
I was allergic to something in the room so I was congested the whole time I was there. There was an odd smell around the headboard/pillows. I am not certain if it some sort of cleaning spray or whatever the sheets were washed in. Likely the first. There was no light switch by the front door so if you were entering into a dark room, you had to stumble around a bit. This Inn was once a house and my room had been converted from another purpose so likely other rooms were fine regarding the light switch.

Very welcoming and clean property. Owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Located in a prime spot. Winery's and downtown are very easy to get too from the location.

Rooms were comfortable but rather dim (or too bright, depending on what fixture you used) and uninspiring. It seemed rather outdated. We also did not realize that our rate did not include breakfast; thankfully another property across the street at least had food available. Innkeeper (or whomever greeted us) was not engaging at all, perhaps due to language issues? About a mile from town, which seemed like a long walk on warm days. But it was exceptionally quiet.
Rooms need some updating. And we usually expect innkeepers to be outgoing and friendly--that's why we choose to stay at such lodgings instead of a hotel.

The breakfast was fantastic at the pillar and post, and the room was fairly comfortable and really clean. The location was good too. Lots of nice restaurants close by, and beautiful scenery.
The steam shower did not work, and the bicycles were super sketchy

Location, cleanliness, outside access
Bed raised too high. Firm mattress would be excellent, extra firm mattress a bit too much.

I liked the garden suite and being able to sit outside and relax.
I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The breakfast was awesome and it gave an extra special touch to the stay. I lalso loved the genuine kindness of the inkeeper, John.
I was not fond of the stairs. But this is my own fault. I should have asked for a room on the first floor

Breakfast was so delicious, especially the fresh cooked omelette, one minute walk. Super clean room, classic British architecture, fireplace keeps room very warm in cold winter. The owner is polite and nice! I will come to stay again

location to downtown, good parking, quiet, suited our needs
advertised as a bed and breakfast however upon arrival informed us that our stay did not include breakfast which was confusing.

Location was perfect and close to town. John was very accommodating. The Inn was so beautifully decorated for Christmas.
The only negative was you cannot regulate your room heat. It was a little toasty for us.

Super close to historic downtown, as well as pillar and post. Clean room, loved having "cable" tv (fibe). Very charming Inn.
Didn't know there was no breakfast included. Not a big deal. Didn't like all the Christmas lights on all night, difficult to sleep
