We loved the room - the bed was very comfortable.
Room had a handy fridge and lots of storage.
We had a private bathroom with all you needed - lovely and clean and good shower pressure.
The location was brilliant to the main street.
The house was lovely, felt welcoming and traditional to the area.
So handy for exploring the local wineries.

Very clean place, felt safe, most of everything that was needed was there, very organized. Happily surprised by how clean the place was! Julie tried to accommodate my dietary restrictions as much as she could. I greatly appreciated that.

I would definitely stay here again. The host was great! The food was outstanding. The room was clean and very comfortable. The location was within a very short walking distance to town.
There was nothing that needed any kind of improvement

The location was very good. Close to the main "drag" for entertainment and restaurants.
Having been to NOTL annually for many years - we found that the accommodation was not up to the standards that we have been used to - also the breakfast was very basic. It was good, just not what we have been used to.

Julie, the host was very welcoming and friendly. It was particularly nice that she took time to socialise with guests if they chose to sit out on the porch late afternoon. She also made dinner reservations as required for us. We had the smallest room in the property but it was cosy and had everything that we needed. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the bedding was of a high quality. It was nice that guests of all three rooms ate breakfast at the same time, so could chat and share information. Julie prepares a different breakfast each day, but cooked the French toast for us again on our last day as I'd like it so much. It is only a 5 minute walk to the quirky main street of Niagara on the Lake so perfect location and still peaceful. Sitting on the porch relaxing in a rocking chair was so good.
We coped well with the bathroom to our room not being en-suite. It was still exclusively for us and lovely fluffy bathrobes were provided for us to wear when we walked down the corridor. The only person we ever saw was the host. You have to walk past the serving end of the dining room, but the only table with a view of this corridor was the one allocated to our room, so not really a problem. The blinds attempting to separate this area are hideous and ineffective. Forming a proper partition would be a great investment.
There is some noise from the room above and the beds creak.

JULIE IS A GREAT HOST. FINLAY IS 7 MINUTES WALK FROM DOWNTOWN. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED FOR ACCESS TO KEY ATTRACTIONS IN AND AROUND NOTL.
The toilet access for Queen's room was external.

Fabulous location, could walk to restaurants and theatre.?

The location was excellent, as was the comfort of the room and bed.
French toast seemed dry or old, not fresh.
Didn't like being asked to pay an extra $50. to "split" the king size bed. It's really only changing to twin sheets!

Our hostess was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. She even texted us a great place for a late night snack and a glass of wine. Totally recommend. The location was in within walking distance of the main street, galleries and parks. it was a lovely getaway.
The bathroom down the hall was unusual, but we got used to it.

We didn’t know in advance what the breakfast was going to be. We were not asked about allergies or told what ingredients were used.
