The location is great - close to the water and main street. We have enjoyed many walks in the area. Staff was great made us feel at home and very pleasant.
The beds were old and really not comfortable. The headboard was falling. Breakfast menu was really average, choices were very limited and exactly the same all 3 mornings.

The Old Bank house was a great place to stay. Laurie was friendly, personable and professional. We felt like old friends there.
The only issue we had was the window covering on one window. Unfortunately, the exterior lights shone through and lit up the room. That made it hard to sleep. A room darkening blind would solve that issue.

The neighborhood, the rooms, and the staff were excellent and would definitely return
The small fridge was not big enough considering the number of rooms and should have an ice machine

It’s a beautiful house in a good location.
It was chilly. The bed was horrible. It was on wheels and shifted and bounced with any little movement

The whole ambiance was nice. The staff was very welcoming and the rooms were clean and charming. Our room had a view on the lake. The breakfast was excellent. We also liked the location. We were just steps away from the main road.

Bfst was just OK. Location was great.
We were in the Garden Room that had a window which looked out to the gravel parking lot--not a garden could be seen.
Bathroom was clean but needed much updating.

Good service, good location, good breakfast
The Garden Room was barebones and needs repairs: exposed drywall screws to hold up towel rack; 2 of the 5 bulbs on the main light fixture were burned out and missing lampshades. The staff were quick to remedy the light bulbs but not the lampshades. No rugs by the beds made the room feel cold. The exterior railing by the driveway is rotting. And the grounds have been neglected- they need to be swept, weeded, and better groomed.
At a previous stayed at this Inn, some 7 years ago, it was in pristine condition- spotless and beautiful. The devil is in the details and our recent stay show that the building has not been maintained as before.

Beautiful old and great spot
Excellent staff, superb
Great breakfast
Control of AC. Manager did but it made it tough to match outside temp
Could use larger towels and bath robes you get coffee and water at night
Shared balcony should be disclosed - can be loud ish

Perfect stay, the manager and the breakfast chef made our experience so welcoming and unique. It is at the perfect location, right in front of the water and close to all the restaurants and shops on Queen st. Such a beautiful stay and I would come back to Niagara on the Lake just for this hotel
Nothing at all

The location is excellent, right by the lake. Lovely staff member checked us & showed us around the house, which has a lot of history. The room was quirky & parking at the house was very handy & spacious. We took breakfast on the porch and it was beautiful - everything freshly cooked & served hot.
The terrace outside our room was lovely but the furniture had been left out in the rain so cushions on the chairs were soaking with tree debris & the chairs had stagnant water collected in them. Our door didn't lock as the lock had been fitted in the wrong place (even the front door was like that) & it just seemed like the whole place needed some tlc. We felt very uncomfortable when the owner admonished a member of staff right in front of us - especially as she was the lovely one who checked us in & showed us around and from what we could see, did her job really well.

The house, though over 200 years old, provides all the amenities for a comfortable stay, including a delicious morning breakfast. I remain profoundly impressed by the unique collection of antiques on display. Jessica, the hotel manager, was both very friendly and welcoming, contributing greatly to our enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this place to any traveler!

You couldn't ask for a more beautiful location right on the waterfront. The staff were lovely & surprised us with a bottle of wine to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
All good

Good location overlooking the lake, interesting history of the property, lounge area to relax in, easy parking, staff were nice, communal fridge in hall.
The bed was noisy and the nuts of the bed were loose.

Fabulous location and beautifully decorated. Limited choice but very nice breakfast. Helpful and friendly people.
When we were there there were issues with the hot water. The property did not supply drinking water, facilities to make coffee (although could make tea in a common area) or offer juice with breakfast. It is advertised as free parking on site but, actually, parking is limited and while they will compensate you for on road parking charges, availability is an issue (at the weekend in our experience).

The location was fantastic with a few of the lake and close to Main Street.
The breakfast was the same for four days in a row. Not ok. The food was nothing special. It was presented nicely. I was expecting something much nicer.
The breakfast was the same for four days in a row. Not ok. The food was nothing special. It was presented nicely. I was expecting something much nicer and more gourmet. The second room we booked was not acceptable. Old bedspread and very dark. No way to open a window at night because there was no window. The room was very hot and stuffy.
