I love the space. The ground level is filled with beautiful plants. There is a Spyhouse Coffee and Giulia Italian restaurant on the first level as well. The staff is wonderful. I was not charged a fee for early check in. This is my favorite hotel in Minneapolis and I will definitely return.

Only stayed for one night wonderful stay wonderful hotel ! Perfection!
The bed for me was a little soft but that is just personal preference

The atmosphere and aesthetic was very nice.
The lobby smelled very strongly of perfume, the music was pretty loud in the lounge area.

Front desk staff were exceptional. The hotel is beautiful and our room was clean and comfortable.
Restaurant staff. We sat at the bar and got passed by for at least ten minutes. I ordered food to take back up to my room and I paid in cash. The waiter took my money and never brought me change.

The property was well situated for our needs. There needs to be better sign posting to find the reception area when entering via the valet parking area.
We requested & booked a room with a view, but was politely told that we were upgraded. However when we entered the room and opened the curtain, the view was between buildings into a parking lot. Kind to give us a bigger room, but for a 2 days stay, we would have preferred the view.

We found out about the Emery from going to the coffee shop (Spyhouse) below. Even on walking in, it felt like a nice hotel - so much so we cancelled our hotel reservation from another place and stayed here instead! All in all a great experience, and the location is perfect for downtown as well.
The upgraded King bed room was a little small but it was fine for our needs.

Location, aesthetic
It felt old and not renovated for the price they changed

I liked how friendly the staff was, the room was very clean & comfortable!
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the place.

The Emery is a gorgeous hotel in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. The rooms are clean and comfortable with beautiful decor. The staff were friendly and curteous. We took an evening bicycle ride along the Mississippi River using the Emery bikes.
The only issue we had was related to ordering dinner last night. We arrived late and hoped to order from the restaurant as the hotel did not have room service. However, the hostess did not warn us of the restaurant closure time. We arrived to order and she stated it was too late, however I went to the front desk and Dave was able to squeeze it in. Thank goodness!

This hotel was exactly what we wanted! We were in town 1 night for a concert, the hotel was a straight shot to the stadium, about a 10 min walk. Having the restaurant and coffee shop in the hotel made it super convenient to valet our car at arrival and have everything we needed for our short visit.
Both the restaurant and coffee shop were amazing! The hotel embraced the concert in town with a fun scavenger hunt, photo prop area and signature drinks based off her songs.
The hotel was such a vibe and so fun! Our room was comfortable and clean, and staff was more than willing to help and super friendly.
The ease to get to the location getting to and from the interstate was so nice! We’d never been to MN before and had no trouble getting to the hotel or when leaving to head back home!
Option for early check in would be nice but they did allow a waitlist which got us in about 5-10 min before the 3p check in time.

it was beautiful! the valet staff was extremely friendly.

I enjoy the atmosphere and the room
I feel that price is a bit high for what is offered

Located close to light rail line and many downtown locations. Guilia restaurant and bar was excellent as well as the coffee shop for breakfast and afternoon pick me up.
4.3
it was is walking distance to the concert. the lobby smelled really good & was beautiful!!!
we asked for sheets, bedding for the pullout sofa (as there were 3 of us staying there). we were told they didn’t have any! we asked for extra towels & we were told the same! the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work. had to sit on the floor in bedroom to do our hair. valet parking was expensive. my car was parked parked by the side entrance and when it was time to leave the valet didn’t have a key to get into the room where the car keys were kept. waited for about a half hour to get the keys to my car & my car was right in front of me.
4.3
location, friendliness of the staff, clean
I have to say the restaurant was decent, way too expensive for what you get. I do not mind spending money on good food and drink, was just not worth it
4.3
Very modern, great bed, room decoration, we loved it all. Very friendly and competent staff. Nice hotel bar.

The lobby is very inviting and one of the most aesthetically pleasing of any hotel I've been in. The combination of the marble, plants, fireplace, and wooden tables is very pleasant. The cafe and restaurant also had great food and drinks. Comfy beds as well.
No real critiques, maybe slippers provided in each room, later hours for the restaurant/bar and more options for drinks/food available when restaurant is closed. Having a pool or jacuzzi would make this hotel a 10/10.
4.3
beautiful lobby area, nice rooms
no housekeeping, restaurant service was slow and the food was average
4.3
Convenient location for travelers meeting in downtown
Old fashion hotel, room cleaning only on demand, noisy ac network, the meeting rooms are not well designed to host meetings…, poor value for price
4.3
room, bed,
I would have needed a room service, for example breakfast
