Beautiful Hotel. It was our first time staying here and we loved it. The location and facilities are top notch. The hotel rooms are quiet and very comfortable. The entire staff from Front desk , Concierge , HouseStaff and Doormen make all the difference in distinguishing this property from others . You wont be disappointed in staying here and it will be difficult to stay elsewhere !

Spotless facilities. Gym (very well equipped) and swimming pool with amazing views of city. Attentive staff.
A coffee machine in the room would have been nice.

The property was beautiful with a chandelier of fresh flowers as you enter. The property was clean and welcoming. The location was great and close to Central Park, as well as getting to Times Square and Rockefeller Square. We were able to walk where we needed to go. The coffee shop next door is the place to go for breakfast.
Granted it is a higher end hotel, but I needed an iron and hair dryer. I didn't have time to send out my shirt that needed to be ironed and most hotels have a hairdryer available. Breakfast was a little too overpriced. The eyeball art on the walls was not my taste.

We liked the fact that they listened and made a concerted effort to improve our initial teething problems that we encountered at the beginning of our stay. A great hotel manager and really supportive staff. Loved the rooftop pool area and spa too. A wonderful base for exploring NY.
we did not like the ongoing construction and some of the housekeeping staff did not always listen to our requests, but this was solved once management got involved.

The location is excellent, good for travelers and shoppers.
I was so disappointed by room size and noisy environments. I have stayed at several Peninsula Hotles around world. The Peninsular in NYC is the worst one. The room size is really small, as about the same size as bath room which is relative large. I requested a quiet room one month before I went to the hotel. However the room I stayed was very noisy, some machine was running all the time, day and night. I could not fall asleep for two day I stayed there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
