A little hesitant but glad I stayed

Clean, no smell, great service! Beds were comfy. Andrew called for a shuttle for the ferry, there's a coffee pot, a refrigerator in the closet that you had to plug in and turn on. No breakfast no big deal, the price was decent. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The lake was across the street. There is a pool, but we had no time to go swimming in. I believe there was a pool table too.

The hot water took a few minutes, at first I thought they didn't have hot water lol, but they did! My son is a light sleeper he said the walls are thin, I myself can sleep through 5 alarm Clocks lol.

Close to the island and city , extremely clean! We love that the pool goes up to 9 feet deep and how clean everything is I can’t express that enough. There isn’t a single cobweb nor a single piece of dust or dirt in the room that we stayed in. VERY CLEAN, we were impressed with how outdated the rooms were.

Beds are a little out dated and could be more comfortable. However the rooms and pool area are probably top 3 cleanest I’ve ever seen.

Annual Trip

The staff are so friendly. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Beds are comfortable and we enjoyed our balcony overlooking the park and bridge. We love the hottub and pool. We make an annual trip to Mackinaw City every year and we always stay at Parkside Inn.

Mackinaw City is a great town with great restaurants and this hotel only made me want to visit again

The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were very nice. It's an older hotel, but it is very clean and comfortable. The view of the bridge from our room was great. They allowed us to park in their lot before check-in, so we did not have to pay to park in the ferry parking lot. I would easily stay here again. It was a ten-minute walk to the ferry and downtown.

All in all very nice and highly recommend.

Our room had a private balcony overlooking the park and bridge approach. It was fun watching the vehicles going and coming.

I am not a fan of in room coffee makers due to cleanliness issues and wish they had fresh coffee in the lobby.

overall a very good location ,recommend staying here

the location was in perfect distance to downtown , and ferry . only 10 min walking distance from everything . 1 min walk to the bridge . and 3 min drive from the casino .

pool was full with kids jumping everywhere and we couldn’t take advantage of it and we had some really noisy neighbors that made our nights very long stumping on floors and banging on walls .

Our stay was enjoyable. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked Lake Huron and Lake Michigan AND the Mackinaw Bri

location walking distance to Shepler’s Ferry. walking distance to local shops

would have enjoyed having a sitting lounge type chair in the room instead of just the chair that was by the desk. the ice machine had gnats in it so could not use the ice.

a great deal, comfortable housing and shore side getaway (when it’s not 50* and 50 mph winds)

convenient to the Mackinaw bridge, great view from the waters edge only a few hundred feet away. architecturally it was 60’s, interior was up to date and very well maintained

Some noise from traffic on the bridge, thanks to exhaust brakes. high winds kept vehicle speeds low that night

A fine hotel at a very reasonable cost in a great location.

My room was very well furnished to meet my expectations and appeared very well cleaned and maintained. The facility was in an excellent location for walking to a great number of shops and eateries, as well as being the absolute closest to the park at the base of the bridge and the historic fort and visitor center.

Location, view and hot tub all were wins. Solid 3 stars.

Loved the location, view from room of the bridge and fireworks, the hot tub and pool area, and the game room. Easy to travel to the island and to st ignace from the hotel.

The mattress was really bad. It felt like a pull out couch without the bar in the middle of your back. The room was outdated, but again, the location more than made up for it.
