Won't book there ever again

The bathroom were not very clean the shower curtain was nasty bath tub rust and the faucet rustic .it only take some bleach rust cleaner to get that clean and a shower curtain at the family dollar store .keep your motel tidy .and some panit. We paid $230 for that room.not satisfied .

Last minute find. Location was just as discribed. Great value for the area

Location and views of Mackinaw bridge great. Quiet and clean. Staff was great too

Noting sticks out. Nitpicking would say the gravel parking lot is kind of tricky on a motorbike

It was a nice relaxing stay by the water.

View was good. Right on the lake. Location was good.

Had to clean the room before we would stay in it. The beach area could gave been cleaner.

We won’t stay here anymore until it’s renovated. The ad is false about the rooms. It’s dilapidated

Affordable Beachfront in Mackinaw

Affordable lakefront location in Mackinaw City. It’s basic accommodation and reminds me of the motels we’d stay in the 90s when I was a kid. Nothing fancy, but has character. Balconies and beach are nice. Owner is a young women working hard to manage and take over the property. Very warm and welcoming.

Sliding glass door was broken to the balcony but we could still manage to open it. Could use updates, but you get what you pay for!

Don’t stay there no what !!

Stained bed and bedding. Photos do not match property. Rude staff. Pool is disgusting. Smells . We checked in and went to the room and walked right out and would not give us a refund

Very poor

The lake view was amazing, the rooms had cockroaches, very outdated and worn down. Air conditioner barely worked.

The cockroaches. The pop machine took our $.the water park pass was a bonus we thought untill we got there and it was a small toddler splash pad.

Horrible and disgusting.

Location

Dirty sheets with stains, hair all over in bathroom and on hair dryer, dirt all over the door and overall uncleanlinesses, unsure if the heat worked, it was very cold, I tried to turn up the heat but then I found dirty sheets and only stayed for about 10 minutes, I tried to get a refund but they refused, staff was very rude and not helpful at all. They would not even provide the actual name of the company that owned the motel, I have requested a refund through booking.com and have disputed the charge with my credit card. Very disgusting and disappointing.

The rooms could have been cheaper than 240 for two nights because they weren’t worth it I should have been refunded

the bathroom was dirty - qtip on floor in comer - floor had what looked liked toothpaste - carpet very dirty because in front of the door as you entered was a leaking pipe and had to step in water before you could enter room ? picture's on internet showed pool but the pool was next door in another hotel and check in was at another hotel and the rooms didn't look like the pictures ? very miss leading ! the beach was ok but too many rocks

The view of the Mackinaw bridge is amazing! & it’s so close to the water:) Low price hotel, but still had fridge & coffee maker.

The beds are not the most comfortable- a little hard, but for the low price it was not a surprise.

Property desperately needs some electrical upgrades!!

Was upgraded to Sunrise Beach at check in. Nice view and beach

Non working lights, bathroom fan not working. Non working hot tub No breakfast as advertised. Threw a coupon at me , (buy one buffet get one free). Could have got that anywhere!! No mattress pad on one bed or fitted sheet Fire pits a mess, no wood.

Staff was friendly. Did tell us it wasn't the best. Just didn't expect it to be that bad. Beautiful beach front view. Beautiful drive down highway. Location perfect.

Room smelled from excessive moisture. I use CPAP, that smell made me sick. Gaps around doors. Excessive mold on siding. Sliding door lock broke. Used wood in track to lock door. Window blinds falling down. Carpet stained. Would have asked for my money back but this was a lay over until we continued our trip. I was to weak to go on.

The view from the room was beautiful. The tap water was hot and smelled clean. The property was great to hang out in

The sheets and pillowcases were dirty. The floor was unswept (there was a toenail clipping just inside the doorway). There were fingerprints all over the window. The tiles missing from the bathroom floor were not safe to walk on. The mold in the tub was not appealing. The furniture had food stains on them. The refrigerator had food drippings in it.

The location

Had to use the neighboring property to check in/out, no clean towels on second day, broken ice machine, pop machine didn't work, dead bugs in the window sills, door didn't close properly, spider hanging from ceiling, food crumbs on floor and dirty carpet.
