Location
Rooms were not clean. Bedding was dirty and trash not emptied. We had booked 2 nights and did not receive room service. Had to go ask for clean towels.

Good location. Price was good but when you figure against how clean, noise and broken appliances. Should have been much lower.
Stinky towel,, hair dryer started to spark and overheat when you turned on, phone had no dial tone/work, when you plugged in phone charger plug fell out of outlet. Noise travels right through wall.

Water Park, large hot tub, right across from Star line ferry, great price, offers discounts for ferry and activities in Mackinaw

no chairs or tables to sit by

Pool, and location to ferry.
Rooms never got cleaned until we called front desk to ask for them to get done. Then when they were cleaned it was a piss poor cleaning.

What breakfast? Coffee our first room hadn't even been cleaned 2 room TV didn't work fridge didn't work there was no lobby had to go next door to check in tried using the pool and spa but we were told didn't need wrist bands but had to so we went to the Hampton and used there pool and spa place was a joke the lady at the desk was rude as hell I ask for a discount she said good luck with that call the owners and see what you get trust me never again

The night maintenance man really tried to help everyone who had problems with their rooms.
I expect to check in and out of the same hotel I am staying at. We had to check in at one different location and check out at another different location.

Location
Checking in we had to walk next door to another hotel-odd. Curtain rod to shower needs tightened, carpet was stained and old, the main building wasn't heated very good . Couldn't use the coffee machine,

Really close to everything. Beds were comfortable.
Hotel is dated and needs updating. Bed size is a double which is not alot of room for 2 adults. No breakfast. TV was small. Had to mess with the cable box to get it to work. Cobwebs visible in the room.

The beds were very comfortable, the TV was good. Typical hotel amenities were available.
When are these hotels going g to get with the program and offer more than 2 plugs in the entire room? This is 2023 and had to spread my electronics all over the room to get everything plugged in, some didn't work. It was a good thing I was alone, there was nowhere else to plug anything else in. I had to unplug a lamp to get enough. I was traveling for business so I had a lot to plug in.

The person whom I assume was the only one working on a very busy night was running the desk, phones, and room calls all at once. She did a hell of a job. Beds & pillows were ok.
Trash on the floor in the room. Large spider web full of dead bugs in the corner of the room. No batteries in TV remote, front desk super employee (sincerely) gave us batteries...remote wasn't synced to TV. Refrigerator didn't work. "Room with a lake view" gave a view of the lake from across a street & parking lot and over another hotel. Window looking at said lake was completely covered in webs and hundreds of dead bugs/ dozens of spiders.

Everything was just fine.

not providing the breakfast.

I liked that we actually had reservations at the Bayside, after two signs on doors of other hotels, the Hamilton was where we checked in and told we could stay at if we wanted. We wanted to stay where there was staff.
That I found the door locked and a sign saying go to the hotel next door to check in, then at the next hotel there was a sign saying go to the hotel down the road to check in.

The Bayside was closed had to stay at Hamilton

Location, friendly staff, and it’s ok for a cheap night stay, if you can get it at a good price. It was also quite quiet during the sleeping hours, which is a plus.
The TV didn’t really work, so I didn’t bother much. the room is quite outdated but still comfy enough to sleep.

Be sure not to accept a room across from the elevator or stairwell. The stairwell door opens loudly and closes even louder. People came and went all the time.

Peeling moldy wallpaper in bathroom. Dirty sheets

There was no breakfast available but the location was fine.
The hot tub was pretty dirty and the jets need to be fixed. The pool was very cold.

We had a jacuzzi king room and it was incredible! So comfortable and clean and everything was just perfect for our honeymoon!
