This was over priced for what it was. This was by far the nastiest place I have stayed. The reviews are extremely miss leading. Not sure what was worse, the peeling wallpaper, the mold all over the bathroom or the patched ceiling above the bed. The room was dirty and falling apart. When I spoke with the gentleman in the lobby, he informed me that he would have it taken care of but never followed through.

The beds were pretty comfortable
The room did not look like the pictures, internet didn't work on phone in the room, slider door didn't have a screen and windows was very dirty. Cobwebs outside where u sat and the outside look terrible

The hotel is right on the lake, as advertised. They offer a decent discount for ferry tickets to Mackinac Island. There's a pretty underwhelming tourist-trap of a mall half a mile away if you want to browse six stores that all sell the exact same apparel.
The room was disgusting. I didn't expect it to be a palace because it was one of the cheapest rates in Mackinaw, but these were squalid conditions. The cheap wallpaper was peeling off every wall, the floors were warped, spiders were crawling from every corner, and the window in the bathroom didn't close securely (you could open it from the outside because the hinge that's supposed to secure it shut was broken).
The worst part was the smell. Any time we turned on the AC unit, the room would fill with a strong urine-like smell. We ended up dousing the pillows in perfume and burying our faces in them. If we were staying for more than a couple days, I would have cut my losses and rented a room somewhere else, even if we couldn't get a refund.
While every other hotel on the street has a sandy beach behind it, Comfort Inn has a dense patch of weeds and a drainage ditch. You can walk to the neighboring beach; this was just another hilarious note that made it obvious how terrible this hotel is.

What I did not like is there were ants in the bathroom and no breakfast but a muffin
No ants in the bathroom

Nothing
It smelled and there was stains on the floor and we asked for another room and they didn’t have any so we ask for are money back and they said no bc it was past cancellation Time. I have asthma and what ever cleaner they use was taking my breath away I even told them that and they didn’t care. I would recommend going to another place and for them to use that much of a strong cleaner what are they hiding?

location
very limited breakfast offering was just a muffin and coffee
2.7
It is close to all of the attractions.
No wash cloths. The room was dated and smelled.
2.7
The staff was pleasant.
The room was in poor condition. The wallpaper, air conditioner, and carpeting needed to be replaced. The room was damp and smelly.

Being on the 1st floor was convenient, bathroom was nice sized.
It would be nice to have more than muffins for breakfast. Also our air conditioner did not stay on - it would turn off after a little while and we could not get it back on.

The building needs updated, the staircases were not very friendly

The bed was fairly comfortable.
Ground floor with NO SCREEN!!! The property said in its original description that it was waterfront. It sort of was if you don’t mind a parking lot in between. It was just not a nice place at all. I so wish we would have gone elsewhere. It’s like they want to charge exorbitant prices, but not put any kind of improvement into the property.

Breakfast was not provided. The coffee station was filthy with dust and grime. There were no lids, no napkins, and the coffee was horrible.
The bathroom was filthy and reeked of urine. The electrical outlet that the fridge should have been plugged into had had a fire. The fridge was moldy. The beds were old and the coverlets dirty. There were no bath towels, and the linens also smelled of urine. The entire hotel had peeling paint, broken facilities, and was filthy. The cleaning personnel used the luggage carts to load trash from the rooms on and cart it around.

Never going back to Mackinaw
Wrong date on reservation. Lost aot of money for no reason

cheaper place to stay on the strip.
no breakfast or coffee throughout the day. very disappointing. and this property is not on the beach. just a lake viewing.
2.7
They did not have breakfast like we were told
For breakfast to have been included with our room like we were told.

The location is about the only thing I did like about it
let’s see, there is a list
the beds were worn out
there was mold around the shower head
there was no microwave in the room
when I booked the room it advertised free breakfast but there was no breakfast, we had to go to the hotel next to us to get breakfast and all they served was silver dollar pancakes, ham, two varieties of cereal and a couple choices of fruit.
the swimming pool was inoperable
over all the $350 we paid was not worth the stay at this days inn
I was not impressed at all with the hotel or my room

Location was good
Breakfast was a bottle of water and a granola bar.
Also in the morning I noticed a number of b7g bites on both legs

No breakfast was offered, only a serial bar and coffee. The customer service was at a minimum. Desk was unattended for long periods of time.
Breakfast, customer service

Clse to the ferry terminal
The heart shaped jacuzzi.

Close to the casino
The wifi didn't reach our room at all, we tried several devices. The room next to us had 2 dogs that were just left unattended and barked 100 percent of our stay. I asked the office lady if she could do anything all she said was there are no dogs here.
2.7
The location was fantastic

The view of the water is beautiful
A bit outdated. The fan in the bathroom is extremely loud. The lights should be on a switch. The lamps are not a regular style. I had to use a flashlight to get to the bathroom light so I could figure them out.
2.7
very convenient to everything
Included breakfast was not what I expected. An apple or granola bar and a bottle of water or cup of coffee is not a breakfast especially for a child

Hot breakfast

it was clean and comfortable. the clerk Lisa was very friendly and professional and answered all of my questions with a smile! she is definitely a keeper and an asset to this company!!
the room was a little warm and musty at first. but the air conditioning cleared that up quick.
2.7
We liked the friendly service and the location was perfect since we were right next to the ferry service to Mackinaw Island and we were able to leave our car in Days Inn parking lot. The room was adequate for what we needed.
Could have been updated.

Location was good! Staff was very friendly!
We had a tremendous amount of fruit flies in the room. The room didn't seem to cool very quickly. It took about 4 hours to cool. When it stated breakfast was included we thought it would be more than just a granola bat a piece of fruit and water

location and staff
was not clean. expensive for what you are actually getting
