Indoor pool was nice, beds were comfortable, staff very friendly
The room smelled musty, but otherwise not too bad
3.4
The room was very clean - bed was great - easy to park and put luggage into room - bought tickets to the Island and they sold them to us with carriage ride on the island and if buying both we got a discount. They called transport for us to be picked up to take the ferry ride to the island.
Pool was warm but didn't swim as it was dirty water - breakfast on door says breakfast at 6:30 to get and take back to room (due to covid) and at 6:30a we stopped in to get it as we were leaving and not a soul around and no food - no breakfast - went to office and their door was locked and said won't open till 7a and I needed to check out and be on the road. No way to get a receipt for the rooms and we stayed two nights there.

The only good thing about the room was the in room jacuzzi.
TV didn’t work! Bed extremely uncomfortable! Wi-Fi slow! Toilet didn’t flush! Carpet severely damaged! Some lights didn’t work! Didn’t even have proper sheeting for the bed! No breakfast and not even coffee! Pool was out of order!

The pool was under construction the room smelled like mildew very noisy

The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The room was clean and in good repair.
It was close (walking distance) to the ferry we took to Mackinac Island (StarLine).
The beds were comfortable.
The room had a fridge.
The outside of the building was cute.
Nothing to complain about, really. It exceeded our expectations, given the reasonable price.
There’s no continental breakfast, but that was clear ahead of time so no real complaint there.
3.4
It was very affordable. Room was very clean and staff was nice.
No dislikes.

Absolutely nothing
Hotel was under construction and we were not informed when we made the reservation- had we been we would not have stayed here.. Had to walk 2 hotels over to use their pool and hot tub. Our room was in the corner where they stored all the trash and dirty linens which they left out overnight right outside our door and they were very noisy and not considerate in the morning when talking. Front desk lady was very rude upon check in when I asked about the pool situation. Workers went door to door to wake up guests and have them move their vehicles for the roofing crew-how rude. The floors were disgusting-couldnt walk barefoot cuz your feet turned black. Cobwebs everywhere, dust on most everything and a colony of ants on the bathroom floor. The in room spa tub didn't work right and thats what we pay for. Only got to use it 1 of the 3 nights we were there. I am done with the Thunderbirds, the one in St Ignace sucks too!!

Motel, so fast and easy access from car to room. Room was good size with sofa. Discount ticket to Mackinac Island though the hotel (saved $4). Staff was nice.
Ice machine broken. Had to go to adjacent property (same owner) to get ice. Strange timer for the light in the bathroom. Shower got cool after a few minutes. May be great for bikers, not so much for anyone else (esp. families)

Rooms and location is very nice near to downtown!

Smelled very musty.
3.4
it had beds and no obvious bugs
it was severely overpriced, it had an odd smell to it, the pool for that hotel was out of service but they said to use the one next door because it’s the same owners, that pool had a bad smell to it so I didn’t trust it. There was nobody to check out with in the morning, we left at like 6:30 and my husband went to check out and saw something that said they would be open again at 9:30. as a hotel lobby it should always be open to check out. I would of rather we drive the few hours home than stayed here and if I knew that I wouldn’t of wasted the money.
3.4
It was close to town.
The rooms are extremely musty. There was hair all over my shower. The is only one pool on site and it wasn’t working with 2 feet of standing water in it.

rooms were very clean and location was close to all restaurants and easy in and out access to the city. Staff was very friendly.

It's close to the city centre and ferries. We spent two nights there visiting Mackinac Island and only got there to sleep.
It is not very modern, but the price is very good for the area.
3.4
Liked that it was dog friendly. Bed was super comfortable too!
Wish it was closer to the lake, but that's not something that could be fixed. Carpenter ants too.
3.4
