Very quiet and the grounds are magical. I was there in early Dpring, so things ent quite budding out, but the setting was so relaxing and the high-end outdoor hot tub I had all to myself. The breakfast was plentiful— a choice between fresh baked and cooked to order. Downtown was three blocks away!
No concerns.

The staff was great. Breakfast was yummy (Apple Cider Pancakes). The grounds were lovely.
We had a 2-room suite. In my daughter's room she could hear the next rooms conversation clearly.

Loved the gardens and outdoor space
The fresh baked cookies and coffee bar was fabulous.
Nice staff
Our room was dark and dated. I feel it’s in need of a revamp on decorating. Not sure how to keep the history but make it more moden.

The property was quaint and charming with great access to the downtown amenities.
The breakfast was minimal.

It was very nice to see such history . Clean . Nice lady.
I was looking for Inn or hotel . No TV, pillows hard and lumpy so didn't get much sleep. Not an open door greet ,had to key pad and didn't give me right #

The Christmas decor, so enchanting. Warm, cozy. So sorry we had to leave early to airport.

The holliday ambiance, the friendly staff. Treated us like family visiting from out of town. The rooms were awesome with a late Victorian Era feel. Close proximity to everything. Parking was nice. Very comfortable surroundings. They even brought us hot cookies out of the ovenwhen we first checked in. The staff got an anniversary card and decked out the bed in rose petals when they found out it was our anniversary.
The continental breakfast seemed less than it should be with everything else being over the top. It was the middle of the week, so that might not be the case normally.

The tour and historical explanation really added to the appeal of the property. The staff was exceptional, helpful and caring. The period furnishings were lovely. All the extra touches made us feel welcome.
Can't think of a thing.

If you are looking for a sleek modern accommodation, its not The Roosevelt. The Roosevelt is a step back in time in its outside appearance and furnishings inside. The yard/gardens are beautiful and well maintained. There is a place for those traveling with pets and thoughtful amenities for them. The other side of the building has an outdoor chess set and places to relax outside. Once you step inside, the charming old school (pun intended) décor is apparent. Its not "outdated", its what was appropriate for the period the owners are portraying. We stayed in a suite with 2 rooms. The room was comfortable and clean. No television, yay! They brought my new pup a puppy gift, very sweet! I spoke with a few of the employees and they were friendly and professional. Kayla was especially engaging. We got a great recommendation to a restaurant where we could bring my pup and walking distance. It was amazing! Breakfast was great despite someone not showing up to help the kitchen. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travelers! Thank you!
Not a thing...it was an enjoyable stay!

Totally a class act!
A vintage building with modern functionality, friendly staff, and great service. Some behind the scenes challenges because of covid related staffing issues, but nothing that affected us.
Glad we stayed here, would return in a heartbeat.
