Great two nights stay

Everything. although beach seekers beware, it is situated right on the main drag of Thames St and it is not on the water

Overall a fairly pleasant place to stay except for the price should have better matresses .

Very good location for walking to all the local shops in the area. Pastries and yogurt delivered for breakfast was nice and off street parking was a plus.

The matress in the room is very worn out and created a terrible nights sleep. Sign for establishment hung outside our window and made allot of noise blowing back and forth in the wind.

George front desk was very nice. We were put in a room already occupied & were given another room that was smaller and not the one I originally booked. George brought us up champagne to apologize for the inconvenience

Wrong room- walked into room already occupied. Got a call the next afternoon by a women asking when we were going to check out because check out was 11am. We had already checked out at 10am that morning

We will be back!

A charming Inn with a parking space in the heart of downtown ; excellent location!

Happy to have two chairs in the room, but one of them had a sagging seat and could not use it.

The inn was very quaint and our room was lovely and clean. It was nice being within walking distance to several restaurants and it's a short drive to visit the famed mansions. The front desk staff members were also very nice.

It was extremely loud at night, being right next to a pub. We didn't sleep at all the first night until after 1am. The second night I used the provided ear plugs which did help. The parking situation is also not ideal. The side parking lot is EXTREMELY tight to get in and out of. The larger parking lot in the back is definitely better but still tight.

Now I know why the rich and famous live there Beautiful scenery, walkable town, rich in history.

Restaurant is fantastic! Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Pastries warm when left at your door for breakfast with parfait and fruit Location is walking distance to everything. We will return!

We loved the uniqueness of the Inn, it’s location to enjoy Newport and the fantastic attached restaurant PreFixe menu.

The property is unique and perfectly located with special details in the room and a daily fairy delivers a delicious turnover and fresh yogurt/fruit to your room each morning. Stock for coffee and water/juice was constantly refreshed. the bed and pillows were excellent. George checked us in for the Inn and the restaurant and he is an exceptional host! Loved everything about our stay.

Parking is available but you better be careful to make tight turns! not recommended for very large cars.

Room had a compact but efficient layout. Breakfast was delicious yogurt and a homemade pastry each morning.

Unfortunately the room had a strong perfume smell which was present the 3 days we were there. The staff attempted to help with air deodorizer without much help.

The fresh pastries were delightful each morning. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The price was in line for the area. The location was great.

The room would have been a little more comfortable with an easy chair and a small microwave would have been useful.

Our stay was enjoyable.

The staff was warm and friendly. Having breakfast delivered to your room was so enjoyable (plus the breakfast itself was delicious!). The location is perfect for walking through town.

Overall was very good.

George was an excellent host. Bed was comfortable. Coffees, teas, refridge and microwave in room were all very nice extras.

Street noise was heard a couple times during night.
