Convenient and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff.

Well positioned, easy access to/from the major highway, convenient parking, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable room and bed.

Renovation in progress along with construction noise, dust and dirt. Not a major issue but an annoyance. Sign in elevator warned of potential operational issues, which was disconcerting.

The room was comfortable. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was lots of free parking. There were many hot and cold options for breakfast.

The staff was friendly.

The room had a musty smell to it. The elevator had a sign in it don't push the buttons to hard or the elevator will malfunction. Not something you expect to see after you get checked into a hotel.

The room I reserved was evidently overbooked, the facility and booking.com failed to inform us of this until we were there to check in. We had to downgrade from executive suite to regular room

Good but not good

The room is so nice, love the jacuzzi tub in the room, the room was clean, the bed is comfortable, very nice staff.

The water pressure was minimal in the shower & the pool water was murky and had a lot of scum build up around the pool actually could use to be drained and scrubbed clean then refilled

Nice people who wanted to be accommodating. However, the unit we were in needs to be repaired.

Breakfast was good. The staff there were very helpful. But with the number of people staying there I had to wait for some food to be restocked multiple times. Somewhat to be expected for a busy race weekend. However, advanced planning might have prevented this.

The unit we were in had some water damage, that they hadn't fully or correctly repaired. Loose laminate flooring, grout missing. Also, damaged ironing board. This was a unit they hadn't remodeled yet, but had to use since the hotel was full.

The pool and breakfast were great and the room was spacious and well cleaned

There were no lights for the indoor pool - Although open until 10pm could really only be used until about 8ish

We just needed a place to stay. it sufficed despite the reservation mix up.

it was ok. we had an issue with our reservation not showing up on their books so I had to purchase a new room. The room was “one of the best on site” with a whirlpool. the room was not secure as the door wasn’t locked when we arrived and I had to use the lock that swings out from the wall to secure the room.

Large room. Comfortable bed. Close to lots of food options. Only 30 minutes to Smith Mountain Lake. Clean. Good breakfast.

Some staff. One front desk person was helpful. One seemed bothered and had questionable people visiting her. But other front desk person was professional. Housekeeping staff were very friendly.

location was good staff was nice.

during check in they sent us up to room 127 it was not cleaned went back down they gave us room 324 went up it was not clean. came back down and they gave us 214. finally clean mold growing in 3 different locations on ceiling above shower. areas the size of my fist

a disappointing stay

breakfast was just ok-nothing special-the attendant was the best part-she was so sweet and welcoming and made you want to come back just to see her

the pool was disappointing-we ad been here before and our grandsons would come and really have fun but this time the pool was freezing and the side door was propped open and insects were flying around and getting in the pool making our grandsons uncomfortable not wanting to get in the pool-also the water was cloudy and our daughter did not want to get in
