Check in and staff were very friendly, and they were able to accommodate us in a first floor room so we could unload our belongings and our cat. No problems with early check out. Room was as expected and perfect for our overnight stay on a long road trip east.
While the room was clean, the floors were a little damp underfoot and I spotted 1 or 2 beetles on the floor probably from the gap under the front door.

Staff was great! The beds were very comfortable, nice TV,shower did the job. Very nice room.
The pool was filthy, with a bad oder. I messaged the front desk and they closed the pool.
The pool was green and smelled funny. It was filthy and we only put our feet if for a moment. Took a shower so the smell went a way.
Took chairs from pool to sit outside our room.
Flys everywhere!! Can't help that.

It was well maintained without being fancy. It reminded me of places I stayed as a child.
I think families with kids need something more than a swimming pool to exercise their kids after long car rides. A playground might do it.

Ac noisy in first room. Bed uncomfortable in second room, lamps did not work

Very clean, quite and well run hotel.

Liked the decor in the room with the quilt on the bed. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay! Wide range of tasty selections from scrambled eggs and sausage to fresh waffles and cinnamon rolls. The friendliness of the staff added to the enjoyment of the stay.
There needs to be better lighting in the rooms. The lighting was dim with a marked yellow cast. The lighting around the bathroom vanity was especially bad; it was impossible to apply makeup in the dim, yellow light. The paucity of towel racks in the vanity area was inconvenient. There was only 1 small metal hoop available for hanging towels.

Originally I liked the price and that they let me come early, which was convenient.
They have a nice breakfast but read on, because they made me too uncomfortable to enjoy it
I disliked almost everything. First one of their managers was a lady who lived on sight. She seemed friendly at first but turned out to be the problem.
First the room assigned to me was way back by Construction workers (or oil.workers). I don't feel placing a single, mature woman alone back by rough men is acceptable at all.
I worked 2 years for 2 major hotel chains and I would not have done that.
Then they started to DEMAND to come into my room. I have experienced major theft 3 times in the State of Kansas from hotel rooms, so I explained I did not want housekeeping (should have been understandable).
Another reason I don't want housekeeping is that I am non Christian. My habits are different - not bad, but different. I did not want somebody finding something to discriminate against me for when they entered my room.
And I also caught one of the housekeepers looking like she would enter my room with my Do Not Disturb Sign out, after I left and returned and caught her. When she saw me pull up, she got away from the door. Seemed like they were dying to go through my things maybe
So from then on, trust was lost.
I'm not a bad hotel guest. But I did find out this entire area is paranoid about a guest who wants to stay longer. I was there to try and get a job and housing. You cannot do that overnight. I paid for the room myself, legitimately.
I think it was because I wanted to stay longer that they targeted me. However other people stayed longer so I don't know why they bothered me? (I think it was age and religion - both protected classes).
I tried to refuse housekeeping and the two younger Managers did approve it. But before they did, the on sight female manager tried to force me with housekeeping and I also thought they would enter my room as they liked when I was gone.

A good place to spend the night while on the road. The breakfast was also good enough. Comfy beds.
Not so much I can come up with. Receptionist at night was not supper enthusiastic with the customers.

What a pleasant surprise - paid half of what a room would've cost in Hayes and only about 8 miles away, right off the interstate. We experienced no problems.
All was good

This was a family run affair. Everyone that I talked to was very very nice. The place was extremely clean. They had a nice pool. The breakfast buffet was perfect and tasted like everything was homemade. We stayed two days and felt so at home, we would have liked to stay two more!
