Nice size cabin. We brought an air mattress since we had 6 people and the futon wasn't that big for two people. It was secluded and very private. Staff were excellent with helping fix wifi when it wasn't working.
Carpets may need replaced as they were sticky and our feet got dirty walking barefoot. Lighting wasn't very good in the livingroom/kitchen and bathroom. Wifi was not very good when it was working. Adults didn't care so much as the kids did with the wifi. Mattress in one bedroom was hard and we didn't get much sleep on it.

Wasn’t told room I booked had no bathroom or water!

Clean, convenient - to rapid city and Sturgis, affordable, quiet (maybe the best part!). On site store well stocked and good hours. Staff helpful and cheerful. On-site laundry which we needed to use, so was very happy it was available.
I’d like to see the grounds a little cleaner. There were small pieces of trash around our cabin. People miss the cans and the only way to remedy this is for someone to physically pick up the trash. It wasn’t bad; I just happen to be picky about those little details.

Location, value
Management could spend a little on updates

Beautiful location, nice pillows. The cabin itself was fine and had all of the necessities.
Super loud a/c, uncomfortable spring mattress. The a/c was ridiculously loud but necessary since it was 100 degrees out. Basically the place is a lovely cabin but it needs to be updated for the price we paid for the two nights. Everything was functioning but that's about it. If we were charged less it would have been to expectations.

The view is beautiful!
This looks like a sturgis party place, the room was really stained up, the walls were so dirty , boogers on the bathroom walls , spiders and cobwebs all over, bring your own TP , and bring your own blankets! Great view though!

There wasn't anything positive about this property. The only "good" thing was the cabin has a mini fridge. No stove or anything; just a mini fridge and microwave.
There were earwigs and centipedes in our beds along with throughout the whole cabin. The ceiling fan had not been cleaned in years as dust was coated on it. The air conditioning unit has black specs inside the vent area; I can only assume it was mold. The cabin was run down and undesirable. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you really like the idea of spending nights with bugs crawling throughout your bed.

I didn’t get the room I thought I reserved a little misrepresenting.

I was pleasantly suprised when I arrived at the cabin I rented during sturgis, The cabin was clean, very cozy and well valued in my opinion. The staff that I met were very helpful and polite. The campground was very quiet even during sturgis rally ratrace. It was a short drive to get to downtown and worth the savings and hassle to be at the location. I can not say enough good about the place.
Wi fi was slow but it was high occupancy during rally, understandable.

Great location, loved the cabin vibe, although we didn't use it the pool looked very inviting.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the pillows were flat and stained, the linens for the bathroom were smelly. There were no Kleenexes or toilet paper... Had to go ask for it. No hair dryer. Other than that it was good.

Beautiful location. Our view from the front door was unmatched. A friendly, quiet place in the hills.

Not quite as expected, based on pictures, but ended up having the most comfortable stay off our journey so far.
Staff was excellent about resolving the problem when two old people were assigned a room with bunk beds.
Rather steep path to unit from parking. A bit difficult, being older.

Air conditioner blew only slightly warm air. Window curtains didn’t even cover the windows entirely. Bathroom door so warped it wouldn’t close. Linens were stained.

The price was right. The petrified forest was a really nice little hike with some very neat features.
our room was missing sheets for one bed, the door and screen were broken and looked like they had been broken for a long time. The entire place just felt a bit unkempt and untaken care for

It was located in an absolutely beautiful setting, perfectly situated between the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. The suite we stayed in was rustic, comfortable, clean, with an amazing soaking tub- it was fantastic. The staff were all very nice.
Our biggest issue was the restaurant. Do NOT eat at their restaurant, the Whetsone. The wait staff was friendly- the only redeeming quality of the restaurant. It is way overpriced, the food takes forever to come out, it took 45 minutes to get us our breakfast- 2 eggs, potatoes and bacon, and the brisket hash. By the time we got it, the coffee was cold (it was ordered as takeout, due to COVID, so no refills). Plus, the food wasn’t great... they really need a new cook, particularly one who knows how to run a kitchen and can get good and accurate food out. We ate three of our meals there, given how our schedule worked out.. they are right, there is nothing else around unless you go to Jackson. All three meals were done as take out (due to COVID) and all were incorrect. We paid for items or substitutions which, when we got back to the room and opened our boxes, hadn’t been provided. I can see this happening once... but not each meal, and not for what they were charging for the substitutions. The first meal, we paid extra for the onion rings with my husbands burger, instead of fries. We got to the room, opened the box... no onion rings. The second dinner, I ordered my burger well done (I’m pregnant and can’t have undercooked meat). My husband added grilled onions to his burger, for an additional charge. We got back to the cabin, opened our boxes- no grilled onions for him, and when biting into my burger, it was still red inside. I couldn’t eat it. Plus, I had ordered a sprite, to avoid caffeinated soda, and when we got back to the room, we realized they had given us cola instead, which I also couldn’t drink. Then, there was the 45 minute wait for breakfast. I had ordered the hash.. which, generally speaking, is cooked together so the flavors mingle. When I opened the box, the ingredients had been clearly cooked separately and thrown together in the box, each ingredient a different layer.
