Nice view, outside appearance, although it was not relaxing to stay in the condition we found it.

At first glance, the property is lovely. Then you realize the neglect and filth.

My family arrived to the property around 7:30 pm on Friday, July 21st. Once at the door and inside the property you begin to see how the unit has been neglected. I was in the kitchen making tea, when I three roaches scurry across the counters. Also, in the kitchen if you open the drawer to the island there are old packets of ketchup in there, random supplies and trash. The trash can in the corner is rusted out. The cabinets that do hold supplies are all missing parts of their sets. Beware and bring paper plates and cups so you will have enough on hand. There is a microwave above the stove and also one on the counter. There are two types of coffee makers, one that takes grounds and one that takes pods. It is a Hodge-Podge of supplies. The floors were filthy and feel like they have not been swept. This is very apparent if you wear socks, as they will turn brown very quickly. In the second bathroom, the shower curtain has mold growing on it. On the balcony there are rusty lawn chairs stacked in a corner, a rusty fan and old plastic plant. In the opposite corner there is a rolled up old carpet. The current lawn chairs to use were in need of a good washing. In the master bath, the light fixtures are missing a cover and two light bulbs are out. On the vanity, there are knobs missing and you are not able to use the drawers. In the main living room, the coffee table needed a good scrubbing and one of the blinds was missing the stick to open and close it. I was very concerned about all of these issues - I called and emailed the property and didn't receive a positive response to my disappointment. At the very least, the owners of this unit need to stay and be their own guests to get an idea of the condition their property is in.

Good location, great views of Gulf, nice condo for family and kids

It is on far west end of Galveston Island so very few people on the beach. Excellent location with a boardwalk to the beach. City keeps beach clean. While it is a 20 mile round trip into city but it is a nice drive. Very little traffic this time of year.

It is an older condo complex but we stayed at various condos there over the years. Elevator needed repairs but that is not the fault of property owners. The floor needed a deeper cleaning because it felt sandy, but overall condo was clean.
