Boy did we love this place! We added a night in Seward and we’re able to book the sourdough lodge here. Great communication ahead of time and discount codes for the Kenai fjords tours. But the place was awesome. A collection of quaint cottages for privacy w shared bathrooms - flush plumbing etc and plenty of them and wonderful shared kitchen facilities (2 indoor and 1 outdoor), a fire pit, an outdoor shower that is a legit normal shower as well as an indoor one. Make fresh waffles and pancakes for breakfast. Fresh coffee provided. Super staff. I mean super! Such a funky fun place. Want to come back just to stay here longer with Adrienne, Nu, and the crew. Thank you!
Nada!

Everything. You have to accept you are camping, so you have to walk to the Restroom/ toilet. All the facilities were top quality.

Nothing!
This place should be closed, terrible accommodations. We stayed in an old tiny camper not my idea of a $185 dollar nights stay!!!

Exit, nothing
Unfriendly hostess. Tiny, tiny room claustrophobic. Shower shared by all tenants, they ask you to wipe down the shower. Only 15 min per guest in bathroom. Tacky decor in the bedroom. Like a child’s room. Toilet shared by all tenants. Not worth the $150.00

Yurts are adorable and cosy - truly immersed in Alaskan nature. Hosts are without a doubt the best we’ve ever stayed with. Thoroughly recommend
Loved it all!

We enjoyed the hostel vibe with people to connect with and share stories of Alaska. We got a discount on our Kenai Fjord Tours for booking with Nauti Otter.
The cabin was very small.

All was great

It was close to downtown Seward, and Kenai Fjord NP.
The shared bathrooms are really gross after 6pm.

Easy self-check-in, but the manager also introduced herself later and was really nice. Loved our unique accommodation (yurt up on the hill). Nice communal area and kitchen, self-serve waffles. Great location being close to town. Could tell they knew what they were doing, the place ran like a well-oiled machine!

It was a very cute and comfy yurt. I enjoyed my stay there. I definitely recommend this place to fellow travelers.
It is a bit out of the way, so be prepared to pay a good bit for a taxi to and fro. However, I knew this already reading prior reviews and I was prepared. Just wanted to pass that on to others.

Breakfast would be wayyyy better if it had some healthy options--yogurt (yurt yogurt) fruit--granola bars. Loved the attention to detail for the theme-based yurts. Verrry nice touches, Verrry clean
Breakfast was a fail. No healthy options.

The location of this place was great (if you have a car - ~10 min drive from downtown Seward). The yurt village had fairy village vibes - very cute. The waffles were great/the common area is well equipped and the bathrooms were clean.
Bed could have been more comfortable and the yurts get chilly at night (even in July) - there is a little space heater that warmed it up effectively but I wasn't super comfortable leaving it on while I slept, though I did notice a fire alarm in the yurt on my last day. Would have appreciated a heavier blanket - I'm sure I could have asked but I didn't encounter the staff during my stay. Would recommend regardless, just maybe bring some warmer PJs. :)

Super setting in the Alaskan forest. Accomodation was brilliant. The most memorable place we have stayed. Owner and staff so very helpful.
Being in the forest, it was a little way out of town and we didn't have a car. However we knew this beforehand and we used taxis and were given lifts which worked out much better value than being in a hotel in town.

Really enjoyed chocolate chip waffles and coffee in the morning. The shower reservation for peak times was helpful and made us stick to a schedule...no over sleeping! Staff were super helpful in trying to help us find some rides into/out of town as we didn't have a car.
Didn't realize that it was further from town than expected but that is not the Nauti Otter's fault. People staying without a car should be prepared to pay for taxis or ask for rides.

The welcome was nice. The kitchen is well equipped and there are two of them. The Hostel is furnished with lots of love for details and totally fits the subject of it.
If you got a car its located quite close to the harbor. The room inside was cozy and big enough for two. We didnt need the shedule for the showers due to the fact, that it wasnt fully booked. Otherwise its a good system I guess. The breakfast is nice and everyone can have it when it suits the time table...
All in all a good and nice place to stay
It was a bit chilly, because the windows are old and not tightly closed anymore

My 1 suggestion is to mention that the beds are very low to the ground-for people with mobility issues
beds higher off the floor

The Nauti Otter was as advertised and more. It is a hostel with a great vibe. Thematic instructions and quips give good directions and make expectations clear. Good atmosphere. Loved it! We stayed in a dry cabin, but the bathrooms and shower were very close by and very clean. The make-your-own waffles was a fun breakfast. Rustic and fun place to stay.
It is a week negative, but I think the staff could do a little better at introducing themselves and more to encourage interaction between guests while in the common areas. This place is great. Just a little pushed would make it even better.

Good location. There are rooms inside main building and rooms outside. We stayed inside the main building and our room was super comfortable. Plus a bathroom was next door. Breakfast with self made pancakes was yummy.
The bathroom is shared, as advertised. So sometimes we have to wait.

The host, Adrienne, was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Very friendly. Great value. I would stay here again.
