Muy bien

Nos asignaron una habitación que era para una persona y viajábamos 2 amigos, no nos podíamos ni revolver. Nos cambiaron a una habitación muchísimo más amplia en cuanto lo dijimos al personal del hotel. Recomiendo que tengan un botiquín porque me caí y me hice una herida bastante grande, me ofrecieron todo lo que tenían, pero apenas eran unas gasas y agua oxigenada. Por lo demás, todo genial.

Excellent hôtel, très beau, calme et centré ! Je recommande fortement, le service est excellent, le personnel est à l’écoute de ses clients, ambiance très agréable. La douche était chaude, la chambre était propre, il y a même des volets !

En general es una estructura cómoda y tranquila. Algo fuera de las calles más animadas, lo que es un factor positivo.

Pleasant, spent money we saved on hotel room on great dining out

Inexpensive, clean, comfortable.

Small rooms, tiny bathroom, no hot water our first night (although that was fixed after we notified the manager).

Really nice place, friendly people and a beautiful authentic Mexican look.

The location is good. It’s not in the middle of the center, so it’s a bit more quiet. But you can easily walk everywhere! It’s a nice and safe neighbourhood. We loved that the hotel has a real authentic Mexican look. Our room was spacious and looked exactly like the pictures. Also, the owner was really nice and friendly. If you want, they can book tours for you - as well as a transfer to the nearby airport (Tuxtla).

Nice looking family owned hotel, very clean and spacious rooms, great hot shower and very helpful staff. We had a very early checkout and had no problems with it and they helped us order a cab and were kind enough to let us leave our bags there. Really recommend!!

Location is not in very heart of the city, about a 10 minute walk.

Beautiful property with lovely furnishing. Staff very friendly and kind.

My room didn't have windows so sunlight didn't ever enter the room. Most room there do have windows though. Hence my room was freezing as San Cristobal is very cold at night. Bring thermals or pyjamas!

It was written on booking.com , breakfast is 90dolar and decided to have it.thet didn't give me any menu or price list and just asked to me options.at the end , I paid 263dolar for one coffee and one tostada .this is absolutely unexpectedly but didn't say anything.BE CAREFULL...

The owner(s)/ staff are very friendly. They allowed me to check in early for a much needed nap. - Very comfortable bed - Nice building with nice views

Part of our memorable visit to San Cristobal de las Casas is our comfortable stay at the Hotel Tierra Maya. Eddie and Fabian gave us a warm welcome, and facilitated a super quick check-in process. We were upgraded to a huge 3-bed corner unit. The property is beautiful with its interesting decorations. It has a private parking space. Eddie and Fabian were very attentive and took good care of us.

Lovely small hotel.

The staff were excellent and Leo who brought me there from airport in Tuxtla was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and decorated in lovely bright colours. Only few blocks from cafes and shops and road traffic noise was was negligible. I would definitely stay again.

Booking advertised that breakfast was available, which was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. No breakfast was available.

Great experience, excellent value

Overall great experience staying at this hotel. The place is really cute and cozy and the staff was very kind and accommodating. The price of the stay was very reasonable considering the quality of the hotel and the rooms. Beautiful wooden ceilings, window frames, and accents give the place a cozy cottage feel. The bed in our room was very comfortable; we got a really good night of sleep. The bathroom and shower, which seemed to have been recently remodeled, were very clean and inviting. The hotel in general was very well maintained. Will definitely stay there again when back in San Cristóbal de las Casas.

exceptionally good value. the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. room cleaning every day was very good and left the room smelling fresh. very comfy bed too!

the room was right off the main common area and entrance, but we only were disrupted by noise on one night out of our three. I would also suggest giving a free bottle of water every day and adding the cost into the room price.

Cozy and clean room with a great view

The location is great, it's far from all the noise but a close walk to the city center. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was cozy and clean. During the day you can open the window and allow a ton of sunlight in. The window cover is thick enough to block all light at night. Water pressure is great and the hot water did not fail. The internet connection was strong for the moments that I used it. You'll be well rested if you stay here. I will definitely come here again. Gracias Hotel Tierra Maya!

amazing experience well above expectations

the man working the desk was extremely tentative and eager to help us with anything we needed

the shower head was a little broken but honestly everything else is perfect for the price i didn’t mind

Owner was very nice , parking area was secure, room was clean, water was hot

No airconditiong , very cold Charged extra for a room heater Gated parking , required owner to let our car in or out ( did not provide us with our own access)
