About this house rental
This comfortable home is convenient to so much of what Albuquerque has to offer. Whether a short trip or extended stay, you'll have a private, peaceful space in the heart of it all!
It is within walking distance of Nob Hill and the University of New Mexico, and just minutes from the airport, KAFB, Sandia National Labs, the VA, Presbyterian Hospital, sports stadiums, and downtown. Access to I-25 is quick and easy! There is a convenient bus route and nearby streets have bicycle lanes and easy access to the trail network.
The popular Hyder Park is at the end of the street, and is known for Tasty Tuesdays with music, free yoga, vendors, and food trucks in the evening- it’s a wonderful family event. Ernie Pyle library is just around the corner. Despite being centrally located, it's a quiet, peaceful, friendly, and safe neighborhood. We love it!
The house has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and plenty of closet and storage space in each room. Linens are provided. There is an ironing board and iron in the hall closet. Wireless internet is provided for free. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa with linens stored inside, a 50” smart TV with Netflix and HBO, and games and books. There is a large desk in the office area that is perfect if you need to get some work done.
You'll want to use the fully appointed kitchen just to enjoy bright, airy dining room or eat outside in the private rear courtyard. We have a Keurig coffee maker and provide coffee and tea for our guests. Feel free to drink the bottle of wine! There are dishes and utensils to serve 8 people.
The full bathroom has a tub, and there is an additional half bathroom. We provide towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. You are welcome to use the washer and drier in the basement along with our detergent and drier sheets.
The house has refrigerated air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer, and central heating to keep you toasty in the winter.
Guests have access to the entire house and yard except for the attached mother-in-law suite, which is a separate listing with its own private entrance and separate yard. The house has keypad access on the front door; the code will be supplied the morning of check-in. Guests can park in the driveway or on the street for free.

This house really has everything you need for a comfortable stay. This was a great location for us to enjoy the Flamenco Festival at the University. Close to the airport and the University with easy drive to Old Town and the Sandias. Highly recommend!

Great stay in a quiet neighborhood. Had all the amenities we needed. Why would anyone stay in a hotel when you could stay here?!?

This is the second time we have stayed in Evan's rental, and once again, it was a rewarding visit. His well-equipped house has everything you'll need for an enjoyable stay and the second half-bath off the large dining room is an added bonus. The neighborhood is quiet, homey, and perfect for walking with a lovely park (Hyder) just a block away. A short drive away, you'll find a food co-op for groceries and pre-made meals, coffee shops, restaurants, and an array of interesting shops. Evan's place is close to the university campus as well as our favorite New Mexican restaurant - El Patio de Albuquerque. Thanks, Evan, for another memorable visit to the Land of Enchantment.

Great little house. Good neighborhood and location, very clean, and the hosts thoughtfully provided brochures on local attractions as well as a guide to local hiking.

Nice and comfortable home. We had a small problem with toilet and host responded immediately and fixed problem. The home had everything we needed and more. The floors were squeaky, but it is an older home. I would recommend this home to everyone visiting the Albuquerque area. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We have stayed here twice and will continue to return. The location of the home and the amenities provided are wonderful. The owner of the home is very attentive to any needs. The linens and bathrooms have always been very clean. Great place.

Everything we needed was there & great space & very convenient (if you have a car) to locations in nob Hill. My only complaint is that the floors were very squeaky in bedrooms & bedroom door sticks so there's no way to possibly go to the restroom or leave or come into the bedroom at night without waking up the other person. Tiptoe doesn't work. It's part of an old house & we accepted it. It's not an easy fix so just be aware if you're sharing a room, unless you sleep very very deeply you'll be woken up if the other person leaves or comes in.
We really enjoyed our stay & would stay there again.

Lovely, quiet home in nice neighborhood. Convenient to downtown, airport, transportation, shopping. Good walking with mountain views. It was easy to get to family for visits and to Santa Fe and wherever we wanted to go. Some of us did the hot air balloons one beautiful morning!
The house is welcoming, comfortable with good space and appliances. We will definitely look for Evan's place next time! Thanks so much for sharing your slice of heaven!

The property was just as described, in a very nice, quiet, and convenient location. We particularly enjoyed walking to and around the lovely park.

The home is exactly as pictured. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the provisions necessary. Another big plus was having having one and a half bathrooms. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the outside patio and my husband made use of the desk area as he had to get some work done. We had a lovely stay!

I really appreciate that the kitchen was well equipped and had some common items on hand. That was super helpful. The house is nice, conveniently located, and is as advertised. The price is good. There is a back patio with a table and chairs under a shade tree. We enjoyed eating out there. There is also a small gravel fenced back yard area that is nice if you have small children who would like to play outside. The neighbors that I saw all seemed liked nice people. We enjoyed our stay.

We were on a business trip for several days. Tgis home was very comfortable and well stocked with the basics - down to washing machine and dryer. The work space for remote work was spacious as well as comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. This is definitely a home away from home. So much better than a hotel room. The host was very responsive and a great communicator. We had a wonderful stay!

Our stay was what was promised and more. Everything was so clean and information so readily available. Evan was very communicative. The location was perfect. When I come back to the city I will see if this location is available first!

Beds were comfortable, good location, close to downtown, well stocked. The only issue was the washer/dryer being in the basement which was very damp and musty.
TV and wi-fi were fine. Neighborhood was quiet.
4.9
Very clean and comfortable, well-appointed. Perfect location for what we wanted to do.
The wi-fi went out a few times, but the host fixed it immediately.
Barking dogs in the neighborhood, and a 1:30 a.m. car alarm going off in front of the house were annoying, but otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Living area was immaculate. Large screen TV with surround sound was impressive. The refrigerated air conditioning was appreciated. Kitchen was well stocked with top quality cookware. The grounds were a bit disheveled but hey, Albuquerque is in the midst of a record drought so no surprises there. Overall, a nice property for the price.

Five-Star in Every Way
How did we love this place? let me count the ways. The two-bedroom house in a quiet, older neighborhood was roomy and comfortable, well maintained inside and out, with every amenity in working order. Internet was fast and reliable, and there was a patio with small table in back for solo nature gazing. Also, a beautiful, tree-shaded public park is located one block from the house, and the trendy Route 66-Nob Hill area is just a 6-block walk away. Our VRBO host Evan was flexible and extremely responsive to any need or question. We will always stay here for family gatherings in Albuquerque!

Great place to stay! Thank you for the wine and coffee. I would give more detailed feedback if I could just write the owner

Very clean and had everything we needed. The wine was a nice touch. We didn't realize the house is split into two different tenants which confused us one night, but other than that it suited our needs nicely.

Great location - so convenient to everything that we wanted to do while in town. Check in and check out were extremely easy. Host was very responsive. It was very clean and just a cool house to hang out in. The outdoor space out back was great and we were able to eat almost all of our meals out there. Quiet neighborhood with a nice park (Hyder) just a few blocks away. If we come back to ABQ - we will definitely stay here again.
