Exceptional

Clean and comfortable, pleasant staff. We were upgraded to a room with the view of the bay. Beautiful location and enjoyed our meal at the restaurant downstairs. Our second visit and great for a stop over

Overall and very pleasant place to stay.

Nice staff. Interesting boutique hotel. Nice room with a comfy bed. Great position in the town. Nice breakfast although a little expensive.

No car parking. All car parking anywhere near the hotel is costly and must be factored into the cost of the stay. Nice breakfasts although a little expensive for what it is.

Central location between car parks. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Handy for steam railway and boat excursions.

Nice small hotel at premium location next to Baie de la Somme

nicely decorated little hotel at prime location, good quality beds and excellent view on bay from top floor on ‘back’ side. Highly recommended for a short stay.

A bit stuffy - could use active ventilation of bathrooms and hallways, or opening some windows in bar/breakfast area. Otherwise very fine!

Really wonderful place. Very welcoming staff, we were upgraded, prime location with best view on Somme Bay, Very nice decoration.

Great location but small room

Great location and comfy bed, room was small but we did go for the cheap option.

The hotel was asking for a deposit which is fine, but we only have a debit card which they wouldn't accept, as they wanted credit but not Amex. It caused me a lot of stress as i didn't want to lose the booking but wasn't able to pay. The staff didn't acknowledge this issue at all.

Excellent stay in a hotel with great staff and wonderful bay views.

Pleasant staff and wonderful bay view

Parking is not cheap in Saint Valery. This is in no way the fault of the hotel. Staff were helpful with finding places.

Great little stop over on our way to the Uk

Beautiful view of the bay, clean comfortable room and we were given a free upgrade. Good facilities, mini bar, tea and coffee in room. Very helpful pleasant staff. We will come again and give the restaurant a try too.

Location very central for sight seeing & local attractions. Lovely view over the bay

Pillows very uncomfortable. The bed had a winter duvet when 20%+ outside couldn’t have the window open due to the seagulls squawking all night. Breakfast lacked choice. Difficult to park & expensive

A fun evening in a very different and charming hotel with great views.

The location superb and it has a very arty, quirky decor. The room was small although ensuite large. The breakfast was excellent overlooking the Somme estuary.

The room could have been larger and shower over bath not too easy to access.

Breakfast was very expensive (14euros) with just croissants, bread,ham and hot drinks.

The property lied saying that there is parking at the proporty and this was not accurate.The parking was 20 min away from hotel, not ideal when travelling.

Like a set from a 1960’s porn movie

The staff

The room. Horrible dark, so so small, broken light, broken socket. The unbearable heating. Peeling wall paper. Lack of information in the room. Shocking tea/ coffee facilities. No WiFi. Window in shower/ bathroom facing the bed?! (I’m not a prude but I don’t think it’s necessary for my room mate to watch me using the toilet or take a shower.) Incredibly over priced and a very very disappointing stay for a birthday and anniversary celebration.

Very good

Friendly staff, very pleasantly and tastefully decorated room with a large comfortable shower and good amenities. The view out of the window facing the estuary was excellent, especially in the morning with birds gathering and the sun rising.

Parking is only ~200 meters from the hotel. The walkway between hotel and estuary has bright lights, which are on during the whole night. They light up the room a bit (there are curtains).

Nice views from the room. The room itself is in a retrostyle which is a nice change to the regular hotel rooms. The hotel is centrally located in the village.

It was incredibly hot in the room. The room needs airconditioning as it is almost impossible to open up the windows due to the noise from trafic on the street. Also, the bathroom needs a good check as the shower tap isn't working properly and the water floods the bathroom.
