Great for Fishing, Kayaking, Tubing and relaxing
Waterfront Cabin on the scenic Toccoa River, located in the heart of the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. Fish for trout in the river behind the cabin, or hike the trails in the ridgeline right across the river. This large cabin features 3 spacious bedrooms all having 3 full bathrooms either attached or just across the hall. The open concept kitchen, dining and family room creates lots of space for gathering. The kitchen features granite countertops, modern appliances, gas stove and plenty of cupboard space. The dining area seats 6 at the hand built wooden table plus offers 4 stools at the counter. The living area includes a reclining sofa, reclining chair and bench. All of the seating faces a new 55" flat screen smart TV mounted on the mantle above a room warming gas log fireplace. Wrap around porches offer plenty of seating on two levels for sunning or river watching. A section of the porch off the main level bedroom, has been screened and features a beautiful outdoor gas fireplace for relaxing evening fires. The main level bedroom contains a full queen bed, walk-in closet and full bathroom across the hall with vanity, toilet, full tub and standup shower stall. Upper level contains a full sitting loft area above the family room. Master bedroom off the loft features a full-sized king bed, closet, private balcony and private full bathroom. This bathroom also contains a vanity, toilet, full sized tub and standup shower stall. Lower basement level includes a large game room with ping pong table. Flat screen Smart TV mounted on the wall has hookup inputs for game consoles you might bring for your video games. Lower bedroom features 2 twin beds, carpeted floors, Jack and Jill closets and another full bathroom just down the hall. This bathroom features vanity, toilet and full bathtub with shower head. Also located on this level is the laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the house and how well maintained it was. Wishing we could have spent more time there enjoying the peace and calmness that comes with being in the mountains. The house info is accurate and Richard is a responsive host.

Great cabin! Quiet location! Wonderful stay! The only issue we had was that the basement shower was inoperable (the handle was completely disconnected), and when I reached out to the homeowner, I never received a response. We made necessary adjustments to accommodate our family, but it was disappointing never to even receive a reply after multiple messages. Fabulous experience otherwise!

We had the BEST time at this cabin. It is in a beautiful rustic setting and the interior is very clean and nicely decorated. It is well maintained, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with lots of room to spread out and there are multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy including several screened in and not screened in decks. The owner was super helpful in steering us to fun things to do near the cabin which we really appreciated. The location is between several little towns we visited so it was convenient to everything we wanted to do and see. We will definitely stay in this cabin again. We had a GREAT time. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in this area, you will love it.

We were so pleased with our stay. The house and property were beautiful. We loved the “take one- leave one” policy. It was nice having a few kitchen basics as we cooked in the well-equipped kitchen for several meals.

Our stay couldn't have been better. The property was very clean and someone was available to communicate with. We appreciated the fire wood and were able to create a bon fire by the river one night. We also played pool when we were done for the day. The area is beautiful and there is so much to do. We also drove to a few nearby cities/towns. Would recommend!

Everything from the checking in process to the info provided from the property owner was incredible. It was easily the best kept and cleanest rental I’ve ever been a part of.
The communication from the owner was incredibly detailed. Access to three different fishing areas and the fact that the Toccoa river was in our back yard was the best part.
Solid host and an incredible rental, we will certainly be back.

Perfect Getaway
Our family has stayed at this cabin three times now. It is exactly as described. We love that it is right on the river and is in the forest. If you want to get away from everything this place is perfect.
The only call out we have is to make sure you bring what you need. Aside from a convince store it is a 30-45 minute trip to get to a conventional grocery store, but we love that as well.

Amazing peaceful cabin. Very clean and spacious. A wonderful time for the family to come together and relax in this very delectable house. The big back yard was great for my kids to play in and the fire pit served it’s purpose when marshmallows and chocolate bars came around. Plenty of games to play and the kids absolutely loved the pool and ping pong table. The bedrooms were five star and the futon just as equal in comfyness . Many thanks to the owner of this cabin for letting us stay there!! (Reviewed by my 13 year old!)

Wonderful trip!
Communication with the owner was fantastic from the beginning, and home included a very helpful book with suggestions of activities to do. Home was spacious and allowed enough room for our family of five (two preteens and a teen) to spread out comfortably. We spent a lot of time on the porch and the kids enjoyed playing in the river located directly behind the house. It is a little bit of a drive to get to activities, but definitely worth it for the beautiful location and spacious accommodations. We really enjoyed tubing down the river using the suggestion from the owner and visiting Helen, GA. Overall, our vacation was a wonderful mix of fun and relaxation and we would definitely rent again.

Great to escape city life
This property was as described and is wonderful if you want to escape from the busy city, and has lots of room as well. Because it is in the country, it is at least a half an hour from the closest town with larger grocery stores, so it is a drive if you plan on going somewhere every day. We had issues with the water going out for repairs and the internet going out, but this is what happens in the country and they were quickly taken care of. Because of the more remote location, the WiFi is good for only a few devices, but if you get up to 3 or more, it can be a bit of a strain on it.
The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, but it seems like the cabin and especially the outdoor areas need a bit of a deeper clean, especially with spring in full bloom. Also, if you plan on doing cooking in the kitchen, the water pressure in the kitchen is extremely low, making cooking some things a bit of a challenge. The house does have neighbors to the left and the right and a few across the river, so it's not completely remote.
All in all, this is a great escape from the bustle of city life, but it does come with some country living limitations and driving if you want to do more touristy things.

Fishing Galore!
If you enjoy fishing, there are lots of creeks and tributaries close by - we caught lots of trout! The property is very nice and homey. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was beautiful. Very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. You can hear the water stream from balcony of bedrooms. My only regret is that I should have stayed for a week instead of just four days.

We had a nice time at this property. Everything was just as the listing said. The river in the back made for a nice view. There were some places to hike and see near by, like the falls and swinging bridge. There are a couple of small housekeeping issues, but nothing major. Some extra towels and additional comfortable seating in the living room would be nice, but it was very enjoyable and we would like to return next year.

Perfect little getaway
This cabin comes fully stocked with anything you can think of. Richard’s bring some groceries, leave some groceries request helps all renters and is your way to pay it forward. Plan your meals before you go and bring your food with you. The closest traditional grocery is 40 minutes away. No Dollar General around the corner either. Coopers Creek Store has a few items (FEW) don’t plan on relying on it to have what you need food wise.
The cabin is large and spacious. The yard is wonderful for your kids to run and play on. (9,7,4 yr olds) River is calm and fairly shallow so we look forward to returning in the summer for the kids to actually wade in the river and tube.
Sea Creek Falls (12min) was a fun little adventure. Again- we look forward to coming back in the summer for the kids to swim in the wading pool below the falls.
If you need a break from it all you won’t regret staying here!
