Everything about our stay was great. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The room was huge and could have slept 6. Thanks to the staff and the venue, it turned out to be one of the best weddings that I have attended.

The reception staff and waitress were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a superb meal in the restaurant overlooking the beautiful gardens. The beds were comfortable and the room was very quiet enabling to have a really good night’s sleep.
The room was a little bit dated especially the bathroom and the dorma area which had a slightly damp smell.

The location is lovely - super part of the Ribble Valley. Impressive gardens
Evening meal excellent, breakfast good.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Our room was little chintzy. Did not have aircon.

The chinese receptionist didn't greet us with the smile. She just asked us our name without looking at us. I had to remind her of the good manners. We found it quite unprofessional.
The Suite room 17 was a nightmare. TV chanels and the jacuzzi didn't work. Stairs were very squicky and noisy. Specially when we must use them several times during the night to use the bathroom downstairs. As a result, it kept waking my partner up. The room is dated and needs to be modernised, refreshed.
Basically, we didn't have a good night sleep. In fact, we went for a nap once we reached our home.
The reception staff needs better customer service training. The guests are key to the hotellerie industry. Each of them must to be treated with the same level of care. Without the guests, it won't be any business or repeat business.

I couldn’t fault my stay - the accommodation, staff and breakfast were all exceptional.

BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. BY FAR THE BEST BUFFET -STYLE BREAKFAST I HAVE FOUND
GOOD CHOICE OF FRESHLY-COOKED FOOD. COFFEE & TOAST FIRST CLASS.
DINNER (ONE NIGHT ONLY) WAS EXCELLENT.
THE BEDROOM WAS INITIALLY MUCH TOO WARM - STORAGE HEATER WORKING ON HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR, BUT EVERYTHING FINE AFTER THAT.

The gardens are superb as is the location of this hotel. The bar and dinning area very nice and clean. The staff are extremely friendly. There were 3 of us and originally we had to book a twin and a further single room however on arrival the receptionist offered us a suite which we were really grateful for. The room was a good size downstairs with twin beds and the bathroom. Up stairs a further bed and lounge area with tea and coffee making facilities, also, bottled water was provided. The beds were comfy and the area was peaceful. The breakfast was nice, not a huge choice but we'll cooked.
There was a funky odour in the corridors leading to the rooms and it could do with a facelift.Other than that no problem.

Wow, what a lovely place Gibbon Bridge is. We went there for a relaxing break and it really delivered. We chose based purely on the location, the reviews and the pictures, which made the place look lovely. I have to say that it really did not disappoint (photos can often really 'fake it'!) - a comforting atmosphere, lovely staff and a really beautiful and well tended venue (the gardens are exceptional!). If you're a bird watcher, you'll love it even more. Oh and the evening meal was wonderful :). Thank you to the whole team for a lovely, welcoming stay.
This would be nitpicky, but breakfast was not quite as great as everything else. My husband's scrambled egg and salmon wasn't really worth the supplement, in my opinion.

stunning surroundings. beautiful building
rooms need updating and the bed was uncomfortable

Excellent breakfast; staff dealt effectively and patiently with my lactose intolerance; our suite was superb, even more luxurious than we expected; the public rooms, dining room and bar/lounge area were tastefully and beautifully presented and decorated; we love white table linen, increasingly unusual these days! Our dinner was very good, except for niggles below.
It would be good to have a fridge in the room, though for a short stay not really necessary; my dinner main dish was slightly marred by tough meat, but there was an immediate apology and a genuine offer to replace (I felt unable to accept, as we were well into the meal), followed by a spontaneous deduction from our final account. It couldn't have been handled better: exemplary customer service.

bedrooms outstanding , evening meal amazing , worth the money , clean throughout , comfortable
breakfast wasn’t as good as it used to be , no enough variety and felt like we was being rushed with evening meal and breakfast , and you could tell that the owner wasn’t there staff on their phones in the dinning room and answering text messages while taking plates away which I don’t think is professional

The food was outstanding! Staff very friendly and the grounds were beautiful. The bed was super comfy too.
The only thing was the room was way too hot, even with the windows open which made it quite difficult to sleep.

It was a pleasant hotel with really nice gardens. A wedding venue so not really suited to anything else.
Room was bit dated but overall clean.

We were sad to leave!
Comfortable rooms, exceptionally clean. Large bed, and we slept well. Very quiet.
Very relaxing surroundings, with garden walks.
. The gardens are worth the visit.
All the staff, from Front of House, to Housekeeping were friendly and very helpful. The waiters were exceptionally attentive and pleasant.
The food, is very good, with locally sourced fayre and Lancashire specialities.
We enjoyed hot sandwiches via Room Service, which were more than generous, and served with huge chunky chips!
Not booking for longer!

An excellent location. Staff very friendly. Facilities very good. Room excellent
Food was excellent although the menu was rather restricted.
Using Booking.com as I have done many times, I paid £660 for a 3 night stay in a suite on a bed and breakfast basis.
When we arrived we discovered that they were offeribg a 3 night stay in a suite on a beb, breakfast and DINNER for £715.
Dinner cost my wife and I £27-50p each per night. This brought our total bill to £825-00. Over £100 more than price advertised by the hotel.
They refused to adjust the cost of our stay to the level of their offer by saying that it was because we used Booling.com, who charged them £30 per night for their services.
I have used your Company a number of times and never come across this situation.
Your view on this would be appreciated.
