Great people and a great location

Great people and a great location with a few pubs within walking distance, so good evening options.

Parking is a little tight, but there is normally space on the road

Exceptional

Jane & Charles are perfect hosts. They liaised with us regarding our arrival time and stayed in touch to make sure we were ok during horrendous travelling conditions. Upon arrival Charles greeted us with a large umbrella and a warm smile. Jane gave us recommendations regarding the local pubs and used her connections in the closest one to ensure we had a table for that evening. Room was beautifully maintained and clean. Breakfast was plentiful, good quality and perfectly cooked. Quite simply we couldn't have asked for more. We're already making plans to stay again. Thank you both for a lovely weekend. Superb

The place is lovely and in a quiet village. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

The bed. We are used to a memory foam mattress so we didn't get much sleep.

We were made so welcome. it was a home from home. food was excellent - perfect poached eggs! would definitely stay here again.

Jane and Charles are a lovely couple. They were v welcoming and we would thoroughly recommend.

We had a separate entrance and could come and go as we pleased. The room was v comfortable and tea/coffee making facilities were provided with bottled water. Easy parking and perfect location.

Lovely hosts, breakfast great and convenient base for family and friends visits.

Breakfast very good, hosts excellent, cosy and warm.

Noisy toilet seat when sitting on it. Could hear heating switching on, but was grateful to be kept warm.

Comfortable stay in a great location

Great location for our weekend plans. West Haddon is a nice village with good pub and restaurant options. The room, family owners, facilities and breakfast at Shepherds Row were all great.

Just lovely

It was a little home from home. The team were welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, The room was very clean and comfortable with the softest towels. It was just the little things, home made biscuits in your room, a wide selection of hot drinks to choose from, drinking water available and an excellent breakfast at the time I needed it before going on my way. A really lovely place to stay.

Great location for wandering the canal towpaths. Lovely and quiet with easy access into Northampton for the show. Yummy breakfast too.

Lovely cosy period cottage

Jane and Charles made me very welcome, had a lovely stay, good nights sleep and a good breakfast. A very peaceful village setting, good pubs and beautiful surrounding countryside. Will definitely be staying again.

The great Shepherds Row experience

Absolutely everything, the location, car parking, Jane was very helpful, accomadating with a very nice attitude, during the whole stay nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast each day was plentiful and very tasty, we have stayed in many places and this was by far the best.
