We can't say enough great things about this cabin and the host. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay, to include beautiful views of the lake. And Stella, the host, was always quick to communicate and was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend staying here!

Great cabin, unfortunately stayed during a rare summer cold front. Could not turn on fireplace. Wifi was too weak to work television. But other than that a beautiful property.

Relaxing stay. Owner welcomed us at the door upon check in. Spent about 20 minutes telling us about the cabin. Owner has a cabin directly behind the rental that looks down on the rental. When you walk outside the cabin the owner's dog would bark at you. A little annoying at times.

The host was so friendly and informative! We loved everything about the cabin. From location to decor it was such a sweet stay.

I was delighted with this property because I grew up at Tahoe and am very fond of classic rustic summer cabins converted by their owners to unique homes. I appreciate what it takes to maintain them through the winter! I loved our lake view and the quiet neighborhood. Very convenient for our purposes. I walked to Speedway Beach no problem... otherwise mostly drove but walking or bus works.

The perfect place for a couple to begin a day of adventure and return to for relaxing.

We had a great time at the Brockway Cabin. The location was great with only a 3 minute drive to King's Beach and a gorgeous view of the lake. The cabin was clean and had lots of amenities/features for a comfortable and cozy stay. It would've been a plus if the kitchen had a stocked coffee station, but we definitely did not expect that. Stella is a highly meticulous host and gives you all the details you need for your stay and more, including tips on how to keep comfortable during all types of weather. Don't be intimidated by her level of detail - she's just a really thoughtful host! We'd happily book again.

Stella is a wonderful host, and greeted us upon our arrival because we got confused and took the wrong entrance on the property (the parking spot is one side of the driveway, and the wooden stairs up to the property is on the other side of the driveway - don't go up the driveway like we did!) The place is well kept and invites a relaxed experience. Very homey and a great location to launch from for exploring Lake Tahoe. It doesn't have the commercialism of South Tahoe (about 30 minutes or so away), but there are plenty of quality restaurants within a short drive of the property. The parking spot is a little tight but it is certainly doable.

Beautiful cabin! Stella was awesome to work with the entire time. Can't beat the location of this one! So much beauty and close to everything! We were only there for 4 days. We needed more time for sure! We will be back! Do not hesitate to book this cabin! Also, very very clean! Thank you for everything!

We spent a little over a week here, and the cottage was a pleasant home away from home for us. Our host, "Stella" was communicative and helpful, and had everything very well organized for us.
This is an old-timey cottage with a lot of character, and a fair number of steps up the hill, so it's not for everybody, but we were very satisfied.

Had a great stay here! The views from this place are spectacular. Very comfortable and clean. The host was very welcoming and gave good tips on places to eat, the hiking trails and beach. Definitely would recommend this place!

Our stay at Brockway was magical. The cabin was spotless with all the essentials one would need. The furnishings were vintage, but comfortable. Location was excellent and the fact that it had an assigned parking space was definitely a great amenity. Stella was a knowledgeable and helpful host. She gave us great information on the history of Tahoe and suggestions on activities and dining. The 2 patio areas were perfect for watching the sun set on Lake Tahoe.

Stella was a wonderful host! She greeted us upon arrival, gave us a quick tour, answered our questions and gave recommendations. The only issue was she entered the accommodation without advanced warning on more than one occasion. There were no ill-intentions, but it would have been nice to know in advance. The house was great for our needs, and the location was top notch. Would totally stay there again!

This was an amazing stay where we were able to be comfy and enjoy the scenery. We lodged here right after we got married at Incline Village, NV. Stella was very helpful to make sure that we were well taken care of. 10/10 would come again!

I couldn't have picked a better spot for a night away. The hubby and I decided to do a hike in Truckee followed by dinner and a peaceful evening in Kings Beach. This spot was amazing. The view of the lake is gorgeous. You are a close drive to everything and Stella was so sweet. We will definitely be back.

A bit of a physical challenge to stay at this property if you are in a senior age category- steep, rocky entrance steps, high claw foot tub with no handrails, and a bit chilly inside at night but very clean and quaint.

This cabin is vintage Tahoe, nestled on the hillside with a wonderful deck to sit and relax and watch the sunset. It is clean and really well appointed — the kitchen has everything you need to store and prepare any meal you desire. There are lots of seating areas to curl up with a book, have a conversation or enjoy the scenery. Stella, the host, loves this place and takes such good care of it. She is warm and gracious, efficient and full of information about the area. Thanks Stella, we will be back.

Big decks with expansive lake views! You have a view from most rooms. It's perched on a hill overlooking the lake and centrally located on the north shore. In response to the other reviews about lots of instructional notes in the cabin....its not over the top. If you come to this cozy cabin with epic views and a couple instructions get in the way of your good time, that says more about the reviewer than the owner.

Super Cute & Cozy
My wife and I had a fun weekend staying at this cute and cozy cabin. The view is great with windows along much of the walls and looking down onto the lake. It is very quiet and peaceful with woods above as well. It was a great way for us to spend our anniversary.

Just perfect
Love the house's 360 view, accessibility to town amenities, lake and hiking options. The pictures online don't give this beautiful retreat justice.

Host controls the heat and squabbles over toilet paper
The property is adequate except for the fact the host controls the heating furnace. The controls are locked out to self regulate. The temperature fluctuated between 60 - 65 degrees. I asked repeatedly if the heat could be turned up, but it wasn't. We were cold the whole time.
In the beginning, the host provided only 1 roll of toilet paper. The host was annoyed when I asked where the additional rolls were located, and in a round about way she said she was only going to give us 1 more roll of TP. Are you kidding.

Lakeside Location Nice, Amenities Lacking
The cabin is lovely and in a great location. The communication with the manager was strange. The extreme 8 messages pre-arrival with very specific details on do's and don'ts on the property. It seems these managers have had bad luck in the past and now don't trust others. The heat and fireplace controls were locked and it was quite cold. There was not any shampoo or shower products and I had left mine at home ;/ There were no less than 25 notes posted about the home with detailed reminders and instructions. Perhaps these folks should relax in their own cabin and not stress themselves out by renting it out.

Great space!
Great location! Love the views. Charming spot and fully enjoyed reading labels. Following instructions at every corner made it difficult to relax in the space.

Perfect Getaway
We really loved the cabin. It had everything we needed, it was clean, and it's in a great location close to the lake. Stella was very nice and accommodating, and made us feel comfortable. Very highly recommended!

Port in a (fire) storm
We booked well in advance of our trip, so couldn't predict that wildfires would impact our stay. Luckily, this cabin is sited in the small part of North Lake Tahoe where the air quality wasn't so bad that we couldn't go outside. Stella met us when we arrived and walked us through everything we needed to know about the cabin and the little town of Kings Beach. We loved the cabin, which was just the right size for the two of us. One of my favorite parts was having my morning coffee in a huge yellow smiley face mug while relaxing on the deck with a view of the lake. Stella was also very considerate and, without us even asking, refunded part of the fee when we left one night early due to road closures and evacuations in South Lake Tahoe - we were worried about getting to the Reno airport in time the next morning.
Overall, I'd definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to other like-minded friends.

The cabin was great!! Very clean and perfect for just the two of us as we got out of town and away from the kids. It had a great view of the lake. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

Tiny Cabin
This was perfect for the night. Would caution though to bring a small car as parking is a very tight squeeze. Otherwise, it was cute and inviting.

Loved the property!
What a great vacation! We absolutely loved the area and this cottage was in a perfect location. It was so cute and clean! It had everything we needed. We ate our breakfast out on the porch which overlooks Lake Tahoe. Just a great spot! We'll be back!
