About this house rental
Great place for a family vacation! Our newly restored early 20th Century home is located within a 8 minute walk of everything: the waterfalls, the Aquarium, the Gorge Discovery center, the Seneca Casino, dozens of restaurants and more. Not only can you enjoy the night time view of the Niagara Falls Ontario skyline but you can walk there too in 10 minutes. While the waterfalls are so close there is so much for the family to do, we hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

Nice location. Great for families looking to stay near Niagara Falls on the American side. Fairly easy walk to the Canadian side. House was very clean and worked well for our party of 10 people. 4 kids and 6 adults.

We had a comfortable stay at the Gray Goose house. Plenty of beds, utensils, games and overall ample space. Furnishings, appliances, utensils and beds are in good condition. Multiple doors got a bit confusing though :) The house is located walking distance from the falls and you can catch the shuttle just across the street, at the aquarium. No complaints, and the owner communicated well.

This is an adorable property with caring attentive hosts. The house was spotlessly clean. We were in Niagara Falls for several days and could not have found a better place. The kitchen was very well equipped with a lovely view of the Canadian side. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The flowers surrounding the house were exquisite and reflect the care and attention to detail by the hosts. You could walk, literally out the back yard, to see the fireworks. You can walk to the aquarium, restaurants and coffee shops. It's centrally located to everything. It's close to everything and quiet at night. The hosts were available to answer questions and to guarantee that our stay exceeded our expectations. Grey Goose made our brief vacation a fabulous success!! Thank you Merle and Halina!!!

This was one of the cleanest VRBOs we've ever stayed in! The hosts were extremely responsive, and the house is very near attractions; the Aquarium is mere steps away. While the Falls are within walking distance, they are quite a walk (at least they were for us). The neighborhood itself is in need of a facelift, but we never felt uncomfortable walking around town. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend the property.

This home has all that you will need for a comfortable stay in Niagara Falls. The best feature was how close you are to the wonderful path/hiking trails to the Falls and other scenic points. Two minute walk for perfect viewing of the nightly fireworks, ten minute walk to Falls State Park, right beside the aquarium. You can't beat it!

We loved staying here. The house was very clean and welcoming as soon as you walked through the door! They were stocked up on anything you needed such as towels, kitchen accessories, and really anything you could think of or use on a daily basis! The location was very nice, being right next to the aquarium and just a very short walk to get on transportation to go down into the state park, in which you can then catch the trolly that takes you all around the state park! We also loved that we could walk down the the bridge and watch a perfect view of fireworks every night at 10! Highly recommend staying here and if we ever return this is where we would stay again!

We had a great time in Niagara Falls and surrounding area. The property is in a perfect location for touring Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Lewiston and Toronto. The house is clean, had plenty of room and great supply of the basic necessities like coffee, towels and toilet paper. Halina and Merle are great hosts. They checked in on us when the forecast changed and switched our AC to heat to keep us comfortable. They also provided great information for us ahead of our vacation to help us plan our stay.
Some reviews commented on the vacant buildings in the area. We noticed it, but never had an issue. The property is located right next to the police department. We walked down to the power plant ruins a few nights to watch the fireworks, and felt completely safe. The aquarium is also within walking distance. Definitely recommend spending some time there. The seal presentation was great!

Our family had a fantastic stay at the Gray Goose. We felt at home the minute we walked through the door! The house was clean and modern and had everything that we could have needed. Short walk to the walking path that leads to the falls. Beautiful view of the Canadian side from the kitchen window and back yard. Halina & Merle are wonderful hosts! We were so glad that we were able to meet them in person and chat with them about things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again! We had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for us
We are a group of 5 old college friends who take a short vacation together every summer. We stayed at Merle and Halina’s VRBO on our trip to see Niagara Falls. The property is one of 4 similar houses that they own. Great location in an older downtown area with parking right behind the house. Close to The Falls, easy to find, close to places to eat and also has a very nice kitchen where we made our own dinner one night. Very comfortably slept all of us with enough bathrooms. Not the fanciest of properties but well furnished and comfortable. We felt safe in the neighborhood and in the house. The hosts were readily available and quite helpful. Thank you Merle and Halina for our great stay. We all agree we’d happily come back.

Amazing Family Vacation
Merle and Halina were wonderful! Their home was perfect for our family of 12. We have kids ranging from 5-24. Enough space for all of us and a good kitchen to prepare meals in. The location was perfect! We could walk to the falls. Merle was also very informative with all the free happenings in the area- the shuttle, a walking tour at Goat Island and a visit to Niagara Power Vista which all the kids enjoyed!
Thanks for everything Merle and Halina! It will be a family vacation we all remember for years to come!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property. The owners were amazing!! They were able to give us all the tips needed to make our trip so enjoyable… from restaurants, activities, ways to get around to sight see, etc. The house was perfect for our family that included my husband, my daughter, and my parents. In fact, we could have had even more people join us with the amount of room in the house. The location was perfect! We were able to walk to the falls and see the fireworks at night from the back yard. We will definitely return and rent here again!!

A sliver of Niagara in a great location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our Gray Goose vacation! The house is in a central location to reach the state park, aquarium and several restaurants just a few blocks away. The owners were very attentive to getting us checked in, oriented and provided some restaurant recommendations. The house was a great setup with plenty of space for our family, furnishings well appointed and well decorated. It was very clean, good beds and soft sheets! We would stay here again!

Perfect location
The home is redone wonderfully and very clean. Plenty of space for all our guests and well stocked with soap, shampoo/conditioner and kitchen needs. All the beds and pillows were comfortable and the sheets soft. The grassy area in the back was a perfect spot for the kids to play and for adults to sit and relax. Picnic tables w umbrella great for lunches. Home is perfectly located for easy walking to the whole Niagara Falls area. The aquarium is literally across the street. Hiking and biking trails at your back door also. Super convenient for families. Free shuttle stop right behind the house that takes you all over the area. Owner was easy to communicate with and even let us borrow blankets to watch the fireworks for the 4th of July.
Highly recommend Power City for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Delish!

Nice spot near the falls
Great location just a short walk from the falls. House was comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen gear was pretty cheap and minimal and the bath towels rather tiny. But otherwise we had a very nice stay.

We had a really nice weekend in Niagara Falls, the house was exactly as described, close to all of the sites so we didn't need to drive. They left us lots of brochures, coffee, chocolates and clear instructions on everything in the house. They checked in on us over the weekend to make sure we had everything that we needed! Thank you!

Perfect weekend getaway
My family and I really enjoyed our time in this house, it was perfect for a weekend getaway. The location was very convenient, only a 5 minute walk to Niagara Falls, and near park rangers. The house was very comfortable, clean, and organized. The water pressure in the shower was also perfect. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay on the U.S. side of Niagara Falls.

Hard Time Leaving the Backyard
1).Location is fantastic! Walking distance to the Falls, aquarium, hiking trails, 3rd Street bars and restaurants.
2).Easy to access.
3).House was immaculate! Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and good quality amenities.
4).Warm and welcoming hosts, knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to get down the elevator to see historical site of The Adams Power Plant before it fell into the Gorge in 1953. It was the home of the Maid of the Mist Boats…. This is not advertised anywhere else.
5).Outstanding landscaping! Passers-by stopping and taking pictures! Nice back yard with picnic tables and outdoor lights for hanging out after a day of site seeing.
6).Fantastic view! You can see lit up Canada in remarkably close range.

The house was clean, halfway during the week we received new towels, they are always eager to answer a question, offer a recommendation, and ask we need anything. This will be the first time I have given a bad review on VRBO
Listing says the property sleeps 12, however upon arrival of the 12 occupants, I was told that it would cost an extra $320.00 for two people that I did not put on the guest list because they did not decide to go until the day before departure. Let me make this clear, the total number of guests were 12. Due to the fact that four occupants were leaving on Thursday, I was only charged $160.00 cash. Manager offered a late check out for an additional $50.00 cash, which was declined by me. Quiet time is 8:00am to 8:00pm, strictly enforced. So if you are looking to sit outside after a day of running around, on a summer night, it is not an option. The location is great for the falls, but the neighborhood is less than desirable. There are so many camera's in and around the house, which made most of us uncomfortable. Once again, I have never given a bad review and I have stayed in many VRBO's and ARBNB, but this was a huge disappointment.

A True Home Away From Home!
The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and linens, blankets, books and games, toiletries, coffee and tea. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Great location! You can see a beautiful Canadian Skyline from the dining room window! The house is a short walk to the Falls, Aquarium and local bars and restaurants. No need for the car. The hosts were very knowledgeable and friendly and helped us get around the area. The Falls looks incredible in winter! A very enjoyable stay. We would be back in summer!
