the owner is very friendly and helpful! the apartments has all basic stuff you need to enjoy a few days in Sferracavallo.
due to the high season it was a bit noisy

Great space value for affordable price, set in the small fisherman village. Nice outdoors terrace with a cool view, close to palermo, but quiet.

The apartment was very well equipped - everything what we needed! The location in Sferracavallo is very nice, not far away from Palermo and close to the train station.
The only minus were loud church bells almost every hour during the day.

The apartment is really nicely maintained and it is very centrally located in Sferracavallo, so everything (the beaches, the restaurants, several shops and the train station) is within walking distance. Our communication with the host was very easy within the booking app, he always responded within minutes and gave us a very friendly welcome.
After entering the building, there are a few narrow stairs, then we get to the spacious, two-storey apartment. The first floor has the bedroom and the clean/well-maintained bathroom plus a balcony, the second floor has the kitchen and another balcony where it's possible to eat outside. The bedroom area has good wifi and has air-conditioning, so it's easy to get comfortable even on a hot day. The kitchen is also spacious and properly equipped, even coffee and cold water was provided.
One word: noise. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect as one review said the apartment overlooks a quiet side street, while another one said it was very noisy. The truth is that one side of the apartment really overlooks a quiet pedestrian street but it also overlooks the busiest intersection of Sferracavallo and there is constant heavy traffic. There are the church bells too every 15 minutes during the day but we actually liked that. So the traffic: on Friday/Saturday, there was a massive traffic jam under our window even after 11 pm. With all windows closed, normal car noise is muted but the problem is that there are a lot of loud scooters/motorbikes and a lot of honking. However, by far the worst/loudest are the many youngsters who drive while playing music at full volume with their windows down. Please note I only gave 8 points because I really wasn't prepared for this level of noise: otherwise it's a nice apartment and would certainly deserve 9 points (the host would even deserve 10 points).

Nice house with a balkony, a few minutes from the seacoast

Nice terrace, comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen (spices, olive oil, aceto balsamico, coffee). Climatic stairs (but need to be careful not to hit the ceiling with one's head).
Terrible noise from the street as well as nearby church whose bells ring every 15 minutes. There's also problem with the parking - sometimes one needs to circle the quarter a couple of times to find a place somewhere near the house.
4.5
Smack dab in the center. Easy walk to waterfront and train. Kitchen well equipped. The bells from the church at 8 am and 8pm.
It's a Murphy bed with two twin mattresses. So, avoid sleeping on the split. Heater blows, but doesn't really heat even with partition closed.

The house was located in a really cute alley. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The host was very welcoming, he even picked us up from the Sferracavallo train station.

our host was extremely accommodating, punctual and very helpful. We loved being in the heart of the city with all amenities at our disposal. It is the perfect place to stay even if you want to visit Palermo because you are literally on the outskirts of the city with bus and train available at your doorstep. Mondello is just literally around the corner but do not underestimate Sferracavallo. We loved its natural beauty and beaches. Fresh fish every day!
not much to complain about. Even the multiple flights of stairs was good exercise! the neighborhood is super friendly too!
