Good communication,
Clean accommodation in a lovely peaceful setting.
Everything needed was available for use
Would definitely stay again
There wasn't anything we didn't like
4.7
very clean well equipped had everything you needed. like a home from home
bedroom door in the 1bed apartment stitching and scrapping the floor, a little adjustment needed.
4.7
The property was spacious, with lots of home comforts & lovely touches - soap in the bathroom, cleaning products and a dishwasher. The loacation was perfect was visiting lots of sites in the area. There was lots of wildlife in the area, including badgers, deer & rabbits. Near to local canoeing too.
There was no washing machine or dryer, which if we stayed longer than 2 nights could be an issue. otherwise, no cpmplaints really.

Everything you would need

The accommodation is spacious, clean, well equipped and has an amazing view of the Wye valley. There are several nice walks in the area, and watersports can be booked on the river nearby. There are two pubs in easy walking distance. We ate at Ye Old Ferrie Inn where the food was lovely. We also saw several deer at the door of our apartment.
Noisy chickens from a neighbouring property at 6am.
4.7
The property was just home from home. I loved the fact you could open the doors and there was the lovely garden for you to sit out in and relax. The garden is shared but this wasn’t a problem at all; still felt very private. Perfect location so much so we didn’t drive off anywhere. The bed was super comfy and it was so peaceful and quiet. We had visitors of deers and a badger on the evening!

It's so peaceful here. Close to the river.

I didn’t like the strong smell of air freshener , it was so overwhelming!! It was also dark but weather wasn’t good and obviously loads of trees so would have been better if lighter inside beautiful gardens, but depressing room

Such a great location, the cottage is so clean smells lovely. So comfortable everything you could possibly want. John and Tanya have thought of everything to make your stay so comfortable
Nothing to duslike
4.7
Secure parking adjacent to side door
Well appointed, relatively spacious unit.
Good outdoor seating with table and chairs with attractive outlook and evening wildlife (deer etc.)
Nearby walks in Wye Valley.
Friendly, helpful host
Approach through neighbouring property ( outside our host's control) the only slight detraction - certainly not a 'game changer'

Location was fantastic a short walk to the local pub and down to the river
Wildlife outside our door every night

Spacious and peaceful with a garden view and wildlife eg deer. A well equipped kitchen with a good sized living room. Fantastic location within walking distance to Wye River, pubs and restaurants. Thank you John and Tanya.
Nothing we didn't like. It was perfect.

Really comfy beds. Everything you need for self catering. Right on the Wye River so great location- had 3 deer in the garden one evening! Owner very helpful and friendly. So close to many activities on and off the river. We had the perfect weekend and have rebooked for next month.

The location was fantastic there are plenty of walks to choose from and some lovely dog friendly pubs locally. Will definitely look at returning some time.
Nothing! the property had everything we needed plus more. It was immaculately clean and very spacious. Plenty of clean towels and the bedding was luxurious and very comfortable. The facilities provided are well thought out.

Very clean throughout. Warm & cosy with adjustable thermostat in hall. Nicely furnished and decorated and two large, comfortable leather sofas in the lounge. Beds were also very comfortable and slept fairly well.
Cleaning products put out for us including Fairy Liquid, dishwasher tablets, antibacterial spray, toilet rolls and hand wash - much appreciated. As we stayed for Christmas there was also a small artificial Christmas Tree with battery operated lights which we weren't expecting.
WiFi also worked well.
Nothing to really dislike although may be a little rural for some.
4.7
Comfortable and lovely views, few nice places for food and drinks in walking distance, not if you have mobility issues though. Forget my milk so Host kindly gave me a carton.
Plumbing a little noisy but not big issue

Tanya and John excelled - providing such a comfortable and clean self contained chalet
More than exceeded my expectations for the amount I paid and set in just a fabulous location-fantastic walking around Symonds Yat and short drive to beautiful Forest of Dean
Huge THANK YOU to Tanya and John for such a lovely welcome and for providing such a clean, tranquil and comfortable place to ‘escape’ and relax
4.7
it had adequate space, and was comfortable and well equipped. it had all the things that are often missed in hotel and self-catering facilities for example full length mirrors in the bedroom, luxuriously large thick bath towels.
The green lawn and open garden area outside was very pleasant with a lovely view, unmarked by parked cars since all of the parking was to one side of the cottages
There was nothing I didn’t like except the one complaint I have with almost all hotel and sel catering facilities and that is the lack of hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes and towels.

Great location, very comfotable cottages, and freindly host
