Very pleasant

The staff were very friendly & helpful, and lovely food.

Just a shame it’s noisy & a bit to light in the rooms in the morning could do with darker curtains.

Clean comfortable stay with excellent food.

Comfortable clean room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good central location with parking although parking a little limited and not guaranteed. The highlight was the food, both evening meal and breakfast were excellent and we were impressed. Not sure if they cook every evening so check beforehand.

The only slight negative was quality of towels which weren’t very absorbent for drying off after shower.

The staff at The Swan Hotel, are excellent couldn’t ask for better people to look after us. The hotel is clean the rooms are plenty bigger enough and the location is perfect.

Fantastic find

Cleanliness of entire place. Staff made us feel like old friends, all very friendly & helpful. Our room was lovely and comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was superb with gorgeous local produce, couldn't of asked for anything better.

Enjoyed my short stay at the Swan Hotel. Would not hesitate to go back.

I stayed in a double room for the night. The room was warm, comfortable and had a lovely ensuite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The staff went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.

Just what we needed for one night while visiting family.

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast.

It was a Sunday evening and we were the only guests. Member of staff waited for our arrival to let us in. All hotel facilities were closed. We were visiting family so didn't matter, but be aware bars etc are closed on a Sunday evening.

Really wonderful B&B

the lady who checked us in also served breakfast, she is the kindest and most welcoming host ! we turned up later than the last check in but we let her know in advance and she was very lenient and although very busy took the time to show us to our room. The bed was huge and very comfortable with loads of pillows, the bathroom new and very clean, didn’t have any problems with noise from the street below. breakfast was huge and delicious. An amazing stay

Value for money and great food.

The service was excellent. The Ugly Duckling food was excellent in taste, portion and value for money. Cooked breakfast was first rate. The room wasn't the best I have stayed in, but the bed was comfortable, and I had a good nights sleep.

We had an amazing time and will definitely go back.

We loved its central location, the food and most of all the staff. they couldn’t do enough for us and we’re so friendly.

It was a little noisy on the main road and there we’re road works outside but neither bothered us. The bed mattress was a little soft but we slept well.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The lad on front of house and serving in pub was great to deal with. He’s a credit to the place.

Not ideal that bathroom across hall, but it was clear when booked so met expectations.

Fabulous lovely countryside and town.

We stayed at The Swan for 5 nights. The staff are wonderful, they make you feel realky welcome and can't do enough for you. The breakfast was superb, hot food on hot plates. We also ate at the Ugly Duckling Restaurant which is in the pub dining room, and the food was excellent. I would like to thank Chris, Karen, Charlie and Dan for making our stay so enjoyable, you are all wonderful people. Thanks too, to the rest of the staff.

Great value, friendly staff and lovely breakfast.

The staff were really friendly on check in unfortunately our room wasn't yet ready (we arrived before check in time as we had a wedding to go to). They allowed us to put our bags in the room and then made sure it was done on our return. The breakfast was served very pleasantly and was delicious.

Sat in the bar you could smell people smoking outside.

Every I needed was met by the Swan and I would stay again.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Superb

Excellent place to stay. Wonderful staff. Everything was top notch. 1 small gripe is the shower. It's a box on the wall and you either burn or freeze. Other than that its a great place to stay. The restaurants food was amazing a great prices.
