We had a wonderful stay at Munehorre. The castle was exiting and beautiful, and very well kept with original details. The environment (garden, park, wood, river, town) was also fantastic, and we felt no need to make any further excursions except for going to the coast. We were aged 19 to 81 years, so that was really surprising! The only drawback was the internet connection. The Swedish version of VRBO web site did not state that the only possibility to connect is to use the mobile phone to share internet, and that solution didn't work so well for all of us.

Magnificent property and grounds. Ideally located for exploring the area whether on foot, bicycle or motorcycle. Quite characterful Manor House. We have been holiday in France on motorcycles for over 20 years and this is the most impressive building we have stayed in.

This old rural mansion set in it’s own extensive grounds was a fantastic place to stay for our large family group. While many of the rooms have been refurbished, the house retains all of its character and old world charm. This place won’t suit everyone, if you want corporate convenience and high tech modernity, forget it. It is a place where you can completely switch off and immerse yourself in the location. All of the sanitary areas and kitchen were clean on arrival but it is such a huge space that it is easy to see why the odd place has a bit of dust and a few cobwebs. One big improvement that could be made is for the beds to be already made up on arrival. Making up beds after a long journey before being able to retire at night was not a welcome chore. The only other criticism is that some of the lamps and lights in some of the bedrooms didn’t work; probably needed new bulbs, a minor oversight that didn’t detract from our enjoyment of staying in this wonderful piece of history.

This was a lovely place to retreat to and to explore Bretagne from. The manor is very large and even more beautiful than in the photos. The grounds are lovely. Peaceful, quiet getaway place. Large kitchen. Easy to cook in. Owner was very communicative and accommodating. Would not hesitate to re-book.

Dusty with cobwebs, somewhat delightful in it’s character. Could use some repairs and much more lighting. Especially in bathrooms. We did enjoy the setting. Very unhappy that there was no WiFi, no tv, & no land line in case of emergency. Especially since some of our cell phones had no cell service in that area. Thank you

Attractive property externally and appears reasonably priced but had to pay E240 cash unexpectedly at the end of the stay for various extras which appeared to be included in the particulars and unexpected costs including (presumably) glass to the tip. Heating system or cost of wood is very expensive given that the property is cold. There is no WiFi but you can get roaming. Lighting is very dim. Ok as long as the weather is good, the garden is lovely.

Me and my friends spend 10 days at Manoir, and it was our first time to sleep in a real castle, such an unforgettable experience, especially everything was fine, even if some girls in our group were afraid of ghosts :) Also it was very nice to get support from administrator, when we came back in the evening and found the kitchen window wide opened, with lights on. That was a bit creepy, because we thought someone could get inside. But that was the wind, not ghosts or robbers :) So I apologize for that night call and thank you for helping! I hope we were not the worst tenants :) The only bothering point was no internet access - we expected wifi, but the only way to be online was via 4G sim card, and we did'n have any. In description wasn't correctly written about it.

My family had a wonderful holiday here visiting the attractions of the northern Brittany coast and the pretty town of Guincamp. The peaceful surroundings and sense of space were perfect for a relaxing holiday. I would definitely want to come again.
