Great location and big car park. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent and the towels were big, white and fluffy! Great value for money.
2.5
Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly.
Cleanliness was poor. The carpet looked like it hadn't been hoovered in weeks. The headboard was very dusty. The bathroom shower screen was dirty.

Really lovely staff, room exceeded expectations, had everything I needed. Was expecting it to be a little noisy as part of a pub but was lovely and quiet!

The lady who cooked and served our breakfast was lovely however she was on her own. Consequently on both mornings we had to wait over an hour for our breakfast however this was not her fault as the checking in staff did not stagger the breakfast times for the residents this resulted in long waiting times. We were not informed of the breakfast menu this resulted in us missing out on fruit juice and toast. Not a very good breakfast experience. But we want to stress that the lady serving us did her very best under extremely difficult circumstances.
She needs some help…please
We stayed for two nights and our room was not cleaned and no clean towels were provided, between the two days

For those who like full English breakfast it was great. Be nice if they catered for people who don’t drink caffeine, and who might like lighter breakfast such as croissants etc.

The location was great and our stay was better than I expected for a 3 star property. The breakfast was excellent and the bar staff very friendley. Can also get a lovely pizza in the evening if wanted and I have a very hungry son in law and he loved it. We will definitely book again.
Just the steep stairs up to our room we are in our 70's (knee trouble) but there are ground floor rooms so I will book that next time. My family did not have a problem.

Excellent location with off street parking

good location, rooms are pretty, breakfast was nice and staff were polite and friendly
shower didn’t work and there was only one towel left in the room. also very hot in the corridor

Lovely room, only problem was it was red hot, a fan would of been nice, we had to leave bathroom door open and bathroom window, and we could hear noise from the pub. But overall excellent
No fan.

Nothing much!
On arrival, we were led down a scruffy short lane to our bedroom which was far too small for two people. It was clean and had some of the necessary facilities, but lacked a brochure detailing the room wifi passwords and hotel and plans of the town and restaurants, together with emergency numbers. WiFi was negligible.
This was during the heatwave and there were no cooling facilities in the room - I had to request a fan.
Overall impression of the hotel was scruffy.

good location as seeing family .Nice small room comfy relaxed
all great 👍 Brocken blind in bathroom but nice place to stay
