Looking for an escape with access to gorgeous beaches and beautiful forests? Or, if you prefer, walking distance to a cute downtown with lots of shops and restaurants?

Beautifully 2 bedroom, 2 bath home located in a quiet neighborhood within 4-5 blocks of 2 beaches! Carmel River State Beach and Carmel City Beach.

The kitchen, living room and dining area are spacious and comfortable for small gatherings of family or friends.

Your home away from home, enjoy the outdoor patio, cook up dinner in the kitchen or on the BBQ, and dine outside by the gas heater. And as the evening cools, snuggle up with your favorite novel as you light up the gas fire pit, or enjoy one of your favorite movies on the flat screen HD TV from our movie collection, or play one of your own on our Blueray DVD player. Comcast adds 140 channels plus Showtime, and wifi is also provided.

If you want to get out ... dine at the famous former mayor's 'Mission Ranch' just 3 blocks away. Visit the galleries, shops and restaurants in 'Carmel By The Sea' - just under a mile and easily walkable through the beautiful unique Carmel neighborhoods. Visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium or golf at one of the 18 courses on the Monterey Peninsula.

If you'd rather enjoy nature ... drive through the Del Monte Forest or head south to Point Lobos State Park and Big Sur. So many places to hike and beaches to explore! Rent bikes (or e-bikes!) and cycle along the coast from Monterey, past Lover's Point, to Pebble Beach. Avid cyclers can also cycle north past numerous sand dunes on a coastal bike path. Paddle kayaks on the Monterey Bay, at Lover's Point, or up the coast at Moss Landing.

And at the end of the day, enjoy an outdoor happy hour at Folklore Winery up Carmel Valley Rd or take happy hour to the beach ... with chairs, your beverage of choice, and snacks to watch the sun set over the water.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, you will have complete quiet and privacy. (There is a guest unit behind the main house that we use. The units are completely separate and private.)

So close to the ocean, you can hear the surf at night!

We just spent over a week at this wonderful property and absolutely loved it. It was a great location, and nice house with all the amenities. Very clean and did not reek of plug in air fresheners. The owners thought of everything-games,puzzles,books, beach towels/chairs,etc. we will definitely be back soon!

Loved our stay in Carmel. This property had everything we needed. Very comfortable and we even had a couple of warm days with sunshine so enjoyed a BBQ and dinner on the patio one night. Easy walk to the beach. Close to everything. Would stay here again it we are ever back in Carmel.

The property was very clean and just as promised. The location was walking distance to two beaches, the Mission and a bit longer to downtown but still walkable. It was very peaceful and comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything you could need and want for your stay. We will not hesitate to return.

This was one of the best short-term rentals I have ever experienced. Spotless, superbly decorated, equipped with anything one can possibly need for the stay. Well stocked modern kitchen. Comfortable beds. The owners are extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. 10 minute walk to the beach. Lovely place!

It felt like we were staying at a good friend’s house….a good friend’s house that’s in a super nice neighborhood! Walk to everything and just enjoy the manicured yards. Walk to town, go outside and appreciate the stars, we loved it. Oh. And you’re at the start of the Big Sur, 15 min from Monterey, world class golf, super friendly people.

The place is lovely! It was a perfect place for my family. I was traveling with my son, who was working the ATTProAm, and my elderly Mother. The place had everything we needed, and then some! We were so close to everything in Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, and Big Sur. It is about a 5 minute walk to both beaches in Carmel, and also Mission Ranch. During the last day of our trip, there was some pretty severe weather that came through the Monterey Peninsula (hurricane force winds). Sandy and Alex were great to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again! And highly recommend Sandy and Alex as hosts. :-)

This house is located in a lovely spot for walking- accessing the beach and delightful areas of the town. It is a light and relaxing house with all amenities easy to use. The kitchen had everything we needed. The owners communicated in such a friendly way. 10 days and we felt right at home.

Our family had a last-minute getaway to Carmel and found this wonderful house. Everything was as described or better. The gas fireplace was a great touch and the bathtub a treat. The owners were welcoming and even helped reunite us with a lost item. I would definitely go back.

This was the perfect house for our first trip to Carmel. Great location!!! The hosts communication was next level! Their step by step directions of the different household appliances were appreciated. The heated floors and the push of a button lighted fireplace WHAT?!!?! So awesome!!!! We were sitting outside one evening enjoying the firepit and tower heater when propane ran out. Just out of courtesy I messaged the hosts to let them know so they could replace before next visitors and next thing we knew they graciously came down to change it out. The kitchen is greatly stocked with everything you should need if you choose to cook. Read their welcome binder as it has awesome suggestions and recommendations of places to eat and things to do. Village Corner for breakfast is a MUST!!! We are already talking about visiting again next January. Thank you Sandy and Alec for sharing this place. It was pure BLISS!!!!

BeachWalk is beautiful and well-kept in an excellent location. The furnishing are in excellent condition and very comfortable. We loved the large windows looking out on the patio with a large table, comfortable chairs, a cozy fire pit, and gas heater. The bathrooms were large, clean and well-equipped. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The house is a short walk to the ocean and downtown Carmel is about a 20 minute walk. the hosts are local and attentive, and offered good suggestions for our stay. We could not have been happier and would love to return.

I thought it would be great but it surpassed my expectations. Private, but lots of openers to the outside and light. Loved the heated floors. We took lots of walks on the beach. Enjoyed the gas fireplace whenever we were in the living room. I hope we will return some time.

This property was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to two beaches, downtown with plenty of restaurants and shops. The neighbourhood was quiet and quaint. The house had absolutely everything you needed, it was just like being at home. The hosts were always available with quick response time. Can’t say enough good things about this property other than book it now if you’re heading to Carmel area. We can’t wait to go back.

We absolutely loved our 2nd stay here just as much!! We can’t say enough about every single need being met. The location is perfect! This time we had friends join us and they also loved it. Unlike most places, this rare gem is better in reality than in the website pictures. A gorgeous house, fully (and very generously) equipped: abundant high quality appliances, kitchen utensils,cookware and silverware, towels, linens,etc. Music, games, heated floors, fireplace, comfortable and useful outside furniture and heaters. The location is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to two beautiful beaches and downtown Carmel. Communication with the owners is easy. They are attentive to respecting the guests' privacy while remaining available.In sum, one of our top, favorite places after decades of using vacation rentals.
