AMAZING LOCATION! This adorable beach home is an easy walk to downtown and Lovers Point Beach and has everything you need for a relaxing and/or action packed weekend. Originally built in 1908 in the historic Pacific Grove Retreat, this home is rich in history and completely updated. Cozy, Comfortable and with all the modern conveniences. Pacific Grove STR #0084.

Walk in to an open floor plan, the living room flows to the kitchen. There is a huge gas fireplace, Smart Samsung TV with streaming apps, and soaring ceilings with skylights. Kitchen is fully stocked. Dining room opens to a private deck with an outdoor living room and a huge gas fireplace. An outdoor eating area, BBQ, hot tub and outdoor shower complete the backyard. The home has an upstairs living room loft with comfortable seating to watch the Smart Samsung TV or sit in front of another gas fireplace. Should you need a workspace we have an adjustable standing desk upstairs.

Two comfortable bedrooms on the first floor with queen beds. Master bath has a bathtub shower and the middle bedroom has a steam shower.

Rent from the owner- you'll communicate directly with me and my local house manager. I love sharing my home with people coming to enjoy Pacific Grove.

You can’t beat the location - Everything you could want or need is so close- enjoy the downtown restaurants and shops or Lover's Point beaches, Pacific Grove Golf Course. It's one mile on the beach trail to the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium and historic Cannery Row Shopping in Carmel, golfing in Pebble Beach, hiking in Big Sur are an easy drive away or you can also just stay home and relax in the hot tub on the deck- read a book by a cozy fire.

The Pacific Grove Retreat is a historic neighborhood where the homes are close together. While we want you to enjoy your time, this is not a place to host a party. We observe the guest maximum (4) and work to be good neighbors by keeping the noise down. We just had the most incredible 4 nights in Pacific Grove!! We never visited the area before. This was the perfect house and the perfect location! We could walk to Lover's Point and see otters!!! We could also walk to a bunch of restaurants. It was very convenient! We loved the house! It fit our family of 4 perfectly. We especially loved the outdoor space and took advantage of the hot tub to soothe our tired muscles after a lot of hiking. Sitting outside was very peaceful. We are from the northeast so a little chill in the air doesn't stop us from sitting outside. We loved how many fireplaces the house had! So cozy!. The kitchen was great. We did "cook" one night. Really it was just reheating food but I'll count it because it was vacation. We loved the kitchen eating area, it was perfect for breakfast every morning. My boys really loved the loft area and top deck. It was pretty foggy when we visited but it was still really fun to be up there. It was so easy to hop an uber to Cannery Row and use the free trolley down in Monterey. We also went for a drive down Route 1 to Big Sur one day, it was amazing. We did the 17 mile drive too. Definitely do a kayak tour while you are visiting and see those otters up close! We have to come back, we all agreed this was the highlight of our Cali trip!

We walked in with our toddler and were very happy with our choice of rental immediately!! The home is spacious and well-equipped with all we needed for a stay away from home. Everything was clean and appliances all worked. The location near so many restaurants and things to do was incredible. We appreciated the host's speed of communication and connecting us ahead of time with the on-site property manager!

We had such a wonderful stay at this property. The house was clean and the kitchen stocked with nice cooking utensils. We enjoyed the space, fireplaces and walking everywhere! Close to golf& fun activities!

This beautiful historic cottage and neighborhood was perfect for our 4 day stay. Location was amazing; close to Carmel, Pebble Beach, Point Lobos state park and Monterey. We walked to town for coffee, brunch and then strolled along the coast everyday! Thanks Margaret and Frank for a wonderful experience !

We really enjoyed our stay. There is no need to ever move your car, as both downtown Pacific Grove and the beach are just 2 blocks away. Great restaurant to choose from and shopping are all right there.

This was a perfect home/location for our long weekend while my daughter and I ran the Big Sur Marathon!! The hot tub was a great bonus after all the hills!! The home is so quaint and cozy and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend this home and will consider it for next year if we run the marathon again! Location was perfect, we were able to walk to downtown Pacific Grove and the walkway along the ocean. Parking was no problem all weekend.

Our family absolutely loved staying at this rental. It truly was our home away from home. I loved star gazing from the loft upstairs and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub every night before bed. The kitchen was perfect for baking and cooking which we enjoy doing. The bedrooms were clean and the beds were super comfy. We had to find a last minute rental after Highway 1 collapsed near Big Sur and Margaret and Frank were kind and accommodating. Margaret even went out of her way to get a beach wagon for our 3 year old daughter. We will be back to see Big Sur and more of the Monterey area and will definitely be staying here again. I highly recommend :)

We stayed the week for my sons’ (ages 7&8) spring break and had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable and clean and in a perfect location walking distance to lovers point and downtown pacific grove. Plenty of street parking was available and the owner was very responsive to our questions and needs. Would absolutely recommend and stay again if we decide to do another Monterey vacation.

We absolutely loved this place. The listing was the same as the real thing! We enjoyed the outdoor space and the walking distance to restaurants, Lovers Point etc. We would definitely stay here again. Communication with the host was spot on and very prompt.

I was concerned about not being close to the ocean, but it's literally right around the corner. You can walk into town, to the beach, to Asilomar and even Cannery Row - which is about 1 mile. Very clean and all amenities worked great and very user friendly! I would definitely stay here again!

Great proximity to walk to the coast and downtown PG. Kitchen has all the items you need and beach chairs are also available. WiFi is great if you have to work. Quiet neighborhood and would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Nice home, great location and the owner was easy to work with. Home was comfortable for my family 4 and had everything we needed for a last minute getaway. It's close to town, delicious restaurants, and beautiful lovers point. And the backyard jacuzzi hit the spot after biking back from the aquarium in the rain. Overall a great weekend.

This compact clean airy cottage is conveniently located on a lovely quiet street easily walkable to the sea in one direction and downtown Pacific Grove/Monterey in the other. It's rare to find a two-bedroom two bathroom home in this size and location. And with a backyard deck and excellent hot tub too!

Husband, 10 year old son and I stayed over the holidays at this special place. We enjoyed the fireplaces, hot tub, steam shower and comfy beds. My son loved the loft. Highly recommend this place. The owner was incredibly responsive to texts. And it was a holiday weekend!!!

My family and I loved the property and the layout of the house. It has wonderful amenities such as multiple fireplaces, a hot tub, a steam shower, and streaming apps on all tvs. The host considered all needs and everything was very easy for us as guests. We were already talking about coming back in the future!

A beautiful bright home in a wonderful and friendly neighborhood a short distance from the beach and the main street of Pacific Grove. We were comfortable and found everything we needed for our stay. It's a short walk to Lover's Point and just 2 blocks from Lighthouse Ave downtown Pacific Grove. Highly recommend Bookworks for your morning coffee and a muffin. There's a lot to do in Pacific Grove and Monterey (Monterey Aquarium, Lighthouse, Butterflies, seals @ Fisherman's Wharf, etc). We also did a couple day trips to state parks. Rent an e-bike at Big Sur Adventures on Sunset and ride the 17-mile-drive for great views and points of interest. The Pebble Beach Visitor Center is really more of a museum than a pro shop. Don't skip it. We also enjoyed Carmel-by-the-Sea beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Really great location close to the Ocean and lots of restaurants that are walkable. Place was very clean, comfortable, and the house was perfect for our trip. Neighboring homes are very close but had no issues with noise at all. Highly recommend...

I highly recommend Margaret’s place. Great location / super clean / great beds / and cute cute cute! You could not ask for a better location - just a 2 block short walk to Lover’s point, and 2 blocks to Lighthouse Ave (main street) for coffee or breakfast. My wife and i loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Pacific Grove Property. It was super clean and the outside Gas Fireplace was fantastic for setting around in the evening. The neighborhood is very quiet and very easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. We are looking forward to coming back to this property!!!

Walking distance to MANY restaurants, a block to the beach and walking trails, well stocked and prepped to anticipate your needs -- and a comfortable layout on a quiet street with ample street parking.
