We booked this stay last minute after our rental (at a different place) canceled on us. We were very happy with the condo. No AC in the loft bedroom but the fan kept it cool enough. The full kitchen and washer/dryer were a life saver! We also really appreciated two bathrooms!

No frills unit that completely met our needs. Great location away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. Unit is well appointed with dishes, towels, etc. We were able to walk to the beach easily and plenty of other public beaches with an easy drive. Fantastic vacation.

We have stayed at Turtle Bay condos many times, but this was our first time on the East side of the complex. The condo is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed for cooking, and the spiral staircase was a fun touch. The pool area is very nice, and larger than some on the West side. We'll be back!

The dryer was broke, and although we were allowed to walk to another unit to use the dryer, it was a huge inconvenience. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes, we had to wash them by hand. These appliances were so old that it was not a surprise to any of us that they were not working. What was a surprise was that the unit was not cheaper than others. In addition, the bathrooms and kitchen were in need of replacement. The vanity in the one bathroom had the veneer peeling off it. We don’t have much else to add, it Is not acceptable to rent out a unit in such a state.

The location was needed due to a wedding at Turtle Bay. We did not want to enjoy a wedding then drive back to the other side of the island. Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy all the amenities you had to offer other than a place to sleep.

I’ve stayed at the Estates in various units for over a decade and never disappointed. It is my go to place when I am visiting Oahu. They have made improvements for getting in and out of the units by using key pads and not needing keys anymore. My unit was clean, tidy and had plenty of room for the three of us. There was enough dish ware and cookware for us to cook and dine in for breakfast and/or lunch. The security and available parking makes it worthwhile compared to many places that don’t offer that. Just a lovely place to stay and my deposit was refunded very quickly. We will be back!!!

The condo looked as it did in the listing so we were not surprised by the decor or the overall space. It was what we expected. Upon arrival, the second bathroom was dirty, had a hair on the vanity, dirt of some kind in the corner of the sink area behind the soft soap and the mirror in the bathroom was filthy, clearly had not been cleaned making me then wonder if the bathroom had been cleaned at all. The sofa bed under the cushions had loads of sand. We did not ultimately need to use the sofa bed but again gave me the feeling the overall cleaning was not thorough and made me weary if dishes and other areas like bed spreads and lines were really clean. Otherwise the unit was well equipped. There were baby roaches that came out first night and several times during our stay and twice huge roaches in the bathroom. The chain lock was rusted and there was no secondary lock other than the code on the door that we were not certain was unique to our stay as it was a standard domestic key pad door lock. I emailed the property (the first weekend and once more )management but no response. The location on the north shore and the proximity to the Turtle Bay resort and its restaurants was good. The property could have had information on what the beaches near the condo were and suggestions on the property as well as in the area (every airbnb does this and most well organized rental properties). That was a miss not knowing the area. The unit was quiet. Overall, it was a nice stay.

The location and pool were great. The kitchen had most of what we needed to cook or clean. The neighbors were mostly quiet. Unforunately, the space was so hot and humid even with fans and doors/windows open it was difficult to sleep or be comfortable in the loft. There was a high pitch noise coming from the pipes in the lower bathroom that was very unpleasant, especially while trying to sleep. Two of the burners on the stove didnt turn on. Everything else seemed to work fine, and extra linens was nice. Access to the pool was not convenient, especiall ywhen I called to get in and received a voicemail.

Best stay to date at Turtle Bay. This unit is oriented so the trade winds blow through the unit. Did not (and did not want to) use the a/c unit. WiFi had an issue one day but management responded quickly and sent a tech to re-set. Only complaint is the pool was closed for maintenance.

The Condo served us well. We spent a lot of time up and down the North Shore and would come back and crash at this condo. The fans and AC worked well. I would suggest one more AC unit in the main room. Other than that. It worked great.

The furniture was very dated. Inspite of repeated calls and requests, they would not let us in before 3 pm giving silly reasons that it was because of Covid. We were there at 2.10 pm, the room was ready and it was very hot and we had a toddler with us but nope it is policy it cannot be broken - strict for no obvious reason. The window upstairs was broken - actually there was no window at all. It was very very hot and there was no fan or cooling system in the sitting area. The staircase was broken as well, we never slept upstairs because of this. The AC unit was from the 1950s , loud and broken. The bed was dated, sunken, and very squeaky. The check out instructions were needlessly strict - it felt like staying in a dorm. Overall, apart from the location of the place, there was nothing that was noteworthy about this place or our experience.

The rental was absolutely horrible. It was advertised at the unit has air-conditioning but there is only air-conditioning in the master bedroom downstairs. The upstairs loft was extremely hot with one large fan and one small fan. There was ants absolutely everywhere and it was so dirty. There was black hair in all the towels, the showers, and clumped in the corners. There was dead ants until the rugs in the bathroom like it had never been washed. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The stairs leading up to the loft were clearly not to code and made out of pvc pipe. They were all rusted and we were certain they were going to fall at any time. Overall miserable stay.

Good location! The outside of the buildings and grounds were very well kept. The pool was also nice.The unit we stayed in was very outdated. There were ants inside in several places. The beds were terrible, like they haven’t been replaced in over a decade. The pillows were hard as a rock. We stayed at Turtle Bay for a family wedding ... family of 4 with our 2 adult children. We have stayed at countless vacation rentals over the years and own our vacation rental as well. This condo is conveniently located and the assigned parking spot plus one guest spot is a nice amenity. The walk to the beach is easy and the we enjoyed a nice dinner outside at Lei Lei’s. I wasn’t too concerned about the fact that the only A/C was in the main bedroom as were not overly sensitive about heat but even with all the doors and windows open the loft is very warm and difficult to cool down. The upstairs loft beds are comfortable enough but the main bedroom queen bed is awful. The mattress is very old and you can feel the springs pop when you move on the side closest to the door. There were only 4 of us staying in this condo but the only seating in the living room is a small barely 3 person couch. So we usually had 2 people on the couch and the other two sat on dining room chairs. There’s plenty of space in the large living room for better living room furniture that 4 people could actually relax on. The outside of the fridge is rusted pretty bad, although I know this is common in a humid environment. We never got the TV to work but we’re busy with wedding events and going to the beach so it wasn’t a big deal. The price was right so I guess you get what you pay for but do not set your expectations high when staying at this condo.

Nicely situated on the golf course in turtle bay. The rental was easy to access with many activities in the area. The only downfall was that it was super hot and humid (being its July) and the condo only had ac in the bedroom. Fans were provided but it still was not enough considering we are not used to the humidity. The staff was very responsive when the smoke detectors began to chirp as the batteries were dying; issue fixed right away. All the necessary tools for cooking were provided along with laundry detergent and dryer sheets. I would definitely stay at the turtle bay estate condos again!!!

This is the only place to stay when visiting Oahu. It is farther out from a lot of the night action but very relaxing and uncomplicated. Our unit was clean and large enough to accommodate all of us. There’s parking as well as a pool and tennis courts. A short walk down to the Turtle Bay Hotel (not part of these condos) and the lagoon is fun to swim in as well as walk through the hotel and see what’s happening. The only caveat was the TV is an older model and wasn’t working very well. I would think this could be an easy fix for the owner otherwise a perfect stay.

While the location was very nice this condo was unfortunately very outdated, worn out and broken. When I say that I mean that it hasn't been painted in years, the furniture is very old, the carpet was worn through in some areas, the TV while did work some it had broken buttons and no Remote not to mention was likely bough in the early 90s. Some may say that 'you're not in Hawaii to watch TV, I would say that you should at least get what you paid for. We noticed that the condo just next door was very nicely updated and when you pay for a $1 you should get your moneys worth. We went to Hawaii for our 27th wedding anniversary and while the island was awesome not to mention the other VRBO that we rent was also fantastic this place made me felt like we went cheap and stayed with a distance relative that didn't want us staying there. If the owners updated this place, paint, new flooring, appliances and furniture it would be an idea location and worth what we paid for. Another note, we checked out on May 1st and didn't get our deposit back until May 11th. Not very pleased.

The property description accurate regarding the location, layout and amenities. Was clean and well - maintained. The owner provided good costumer services. Two dissatisfied point: 1) The management company absolutely don't answer emails. If you have any doubt or need to something, you have to call them. 2) They told me the reimbursement of security deposit must been done immediately after checkout and 3 days gone by not yet.

The condo is in a great location and we could walk to the resort and beach easily. The pool is beautiful. The condo was clean and met our needs very well. The only issue we had was dust allergies. I don’t know if the condo had been empty for awhile, but we had bad allergy reactions, especially in the loft. Removing the quilts and covering the pillows really helped.

The condo was perfect for our family of 4. My 15 and 11 year old kids enjoyed the loft and we liked having the master bedroom downstairs. My favorite part was that we were so close to Turtle Bay Resort activities. We ate at the fabulous restaurant, swam at the beach, and even took a helicopter ride...all were walking distance from the condo.

The rental needs up grading, its still really in the stone ages. I would highly suggest "High dusting" We found the pictures, shelf's, and vents in the restrooms to be really dusty. We also found that the comforter in the master bedrooms were indeed not washed as we found lots of hair. I know we pay just as much as a night for cleaning fee, not sure where its going. The rules are a bit extreme- We received a letter that the window unit AC should not run 24 hours a day, if it was found that we did "they would enter the room to turn it off" - I mean its summer, the unit was built in the 70's with poor installation so its HOT all day in the unit, if I want to run the AC all day, hey its going to be on all day. I will say that the reservations process was made easy as it was so confusing at how we would get our keys, but the office staff were really nice. The property manager was very accommodating with our needs and worked hard to meet our expectations. Would we return, more then likely yes! to the same unit, no.
