Location was great

Obviously building is extremely old, and I am sure they did the best they could without breaking the bank with a professional remodel. I am a contractor btw. But to bill this as a "penthouse" is a serious stretch. 3rd floor 1 bedroom apartment on main Street with good access would be more appropriate.

Disgusting property, spend the extra money and stay somewhere that cleans before your arrival.

Great location but the cleanliness of the property ruined that quickly.

No garbage can in the entire unit. There was a used washcloth hanging from the shower when we arrived. The worst part was the shaved hair still on the shower floor. We contacted the owner and there was no reply. We left a night early and are still waiting for our refund...

Thank you very much. This unit was in the perfect location for my meetings and activities.

The unit has all the creature comforts one would need for a few days stay.

The outdoor lighting was a bit sparse at the approach and at the door.

I liked the easy way to get in and out. And go down and eat supper and walk back how great!!

They need to show address better in back and clean up even the neighbors need to clean up there put some flowers out and clean it all up back there the neighbors looked like they just threw their trash back there how 😝 gross!!

Very fun weekend!

We had no problems! Parking was easy. There are stairs down to main street very close to the property. We enjoyed the windows overlooking Main St.

The weather! It rained all day Sunday.

Excellent in town location with assigned parking.

The location is perfect! It is so easy to enjoy the sites and then walk back to this little apartment to rest a bit. The assigned off street parking space is extremely convenient. Although we didn’t use it, there is a cute outdoor seating area. The living room furniture is clean, comfy and new. Full kitchen has everything you need to cook (but with restaurants within a few steps you don’t need to). Coffee maker is a great feature and they had coffee for guests who forget to bring their own. Fridge is pristine. Unit sleeps four easily. Two window a/c units cool the apartment nicely. The apartment is stocked with extra toilet paper and paper towels. The owners are responsive to any questions we had.

The bathtub spigot needs to be replaced - mold / water deposits. The cleaning job could have been a bit more careful - dust lines the picture frame bottoms and the extra sink towel rack (like months worth). An inexpensive but needed upgrade is a comforter with a duvet cover that is washed between guests. Lastly, the door lock is questionable - didn’t feel great about that but Galena is a quiet and safe town. None of these issues are deal killers - we would recommend this unit to our friends.

After shopping and walking around, the steps right in the door were exhausting. But everything else was great!

Great location and comfortable bed. Comfortable furniture.

Loved the location and designated parking.

TV reception was sketchy. Kitchen could use a straight edge knife and scrubby for doing dishes. Couldn't figure out how to use the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Lighting was pretty dim.

The apartment was very nice and clean and the location was perfect.

Location was perfect! Close to everything; we didn’t have to move the car.

Well, if you could work on the weather that would be nice :) it was in the mid-90s, but it didn’t stop me from shopping!

OK but overpriced in my opinion.

Plenty of sheets, towels, pillows, comfy bed. Bev was very friendly and nice. Kitchen was stocked nicely. Short walk to the shops, restaurants, and historical sites.

Door needs deadbolt! Bathroom needs a new toilet seat and cleaning baseboards, cobwebs. Edges of carpet need a good vacuuming. Deck needs wasp control done badly.

Cute, comfortable and convenient

This place had everything we needed but the best is the accessibility to Main St. We could come back to the apartment and cool off and head back when we were ready to shop or eat again!

We couldn’t find anything we didn’t like, but can I request a mixing bowl and baking dish in the kitchen for our next trip? My sister and I like to cook when we are together.

Location was awesome and everything was easy to check in and out.

The shower curtain was icky, no shampoo and water was barely warm.
