The main floor Presidential Suite had easy access to the private parking area. Easy walk to downtown shopping & restaurants. Large comfortable suite was well equipped.

Such a cute and cozy hotel! It was easy to check in and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I liked that codes were used to get into the rooms and everything was clean and tidy. Since it’s a small hotel, we had some privacy which made our stay very relaxing. The breakfast was perfect and also located in a cozy room next to the front office. It was self serve, with plates and utensils clean and ready. There were plenty of options for what to eat and drink, it really felt like home.
Wish we could’ve stayed longer! One actual comment though was that our room smelled like bacon but by the evening we didn’t notice it in the bedroom anymore but it stuck around in the kitchen area. Also wish we would’ve known about the hot tub just outside the hotel rooms, it looked perfect but we didn’t bring any swimsuits.

Nate was wonderful, welcoming, accommodating and wholesome! The stay was beautiful, the room was cozy, and the location was idyllic.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress had both my husband and I toppled into the center, almost like it was ‘sinking in’ (maybe an older mattress?) we did not sleep well.

Very quaint place to stay. The owner is around all the time if you need something. Breakfast was good.
I was not prepared for all the steps. My husband and I have mobility issues and it was probably my fault I did not check further into access to the room. If you stay on the 3rd floor there are almost 30 steps to get there. The last set of 15 are very narrow. Again if I had done further research I would have probably tried to get a room on a lower floor.

The property is great
I would have liked more drink options with breakfast. They have a lot of milks, juice and coffee. A carbonated option would be great either water or pop.

Location was great. I thought it was more in the middle of down town but it was still walking distance and was just fine. Breakfast was just average hotel breakfast….was expecting homemade bed and breakfast
Very clean. And comfortable bed.
It was advertised we would get double room. We had 1 room with a bathroom that lead to the hallway were everyone walks and had to keep locking it. Not what we expected especially for how much we paid

Nathan Gawlik was an exceptional hotelier! He was so friendly, knowledgeable and fun and yet you could see he was really listening to determine our preferences so he could share meaningful recommendations with us in terms of local experiences. I've never been somewhere where staff put us so at ease. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was like sleeping on super comfortable cloud! We chose a room with a jacuzzi bathroom and it was super clean and beautifully appointed with local soap and plenty of extra towels. Absolutely recommended experience! We can't wait to go back!
There really wasn't anything to dislike. Nathan, we learned, literally just purchased the Riverboat Suites (as in I'm not sure the ink was even dry). He's been the manager at the location for years and has a real love and vision for the place so I have no doubt he will be working on improving the place even further - not that it really needs it. (Example, he was literally just having a new clawfoot tub installed in one of the other suites so this man has got a plan for upping an already fantastic guest experience!) This fellow is really a lovely guy who goes out of his way to see that you have a wonderful experience. Once you meet him and enjoy the suites, I'm guessing you'll be another new long-time customer like we plan on being. Great getaway!

Great location. Room was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Yummy breakfast. Excellent customer service!
We were in suite 1. I would suggest adding a small mirror in the room. Would make it convenient to not have to go across hall.

This is the perfect cozy get away for a romantic weekend or any vacation!!! The rooms are so charming and you feel right at home as soon as you step inside. The owner Nate is the sweetest man alive and takes such pride in keeping up the place and making the guests happy!!! My fiancé and I loved chatting with him every morning and every evening when we returned from exploring town. He gave excellent recommendations on restaurants and things to do and see in town. He had even left a birthday card in our room when we checked in since it was my birthday :-) We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we plan on coming back next year!!!!
The parking lot gets filled up very quickly. Especially at night. It can make checking in difficult. There is however street parking on the side streets.
