The Nest is a fantastic house to stay in with your family or for a girls weekend in Waco! Lori had the fridge stocked with all necessities (having milk already there was a lifesaver with my kids!) and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend the property and renting from Lori!

What a great place to stay for a getaway weekend in Waco! Everything about the reservation process was perfect! Lori did a fabulous job of communicating with us before and during our stay! The property was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
Location wise it's very close to the mall and some good restaurant options! For those of you that want to go to a Baylor football game and want to stay outside of the campus area - this is a great option!

We absolutely LOVED our experience renting this home! We were very impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of every room, and blown away by the personalized touches the owner added to our stay. My mother in law felt so special and pampered as we celebrated her 60th birthday! The owner provided extensive, detailed information about local sights and restaurants. It really made our time go smoothly. We could not have had a better experience, and hope to come back someday!!

My family came to my daughter’s graduation at Baylor and stayed at the ”Nest”. We were blown away by the hospitality and the accommodations. When we walked into the kitchen we discovered a note welcoming us, and cupcakes and ice cream for us from Lori. The house made us feel like home. Thank you.

We stayed one night for a Girls Getaway trip to Waco and the house was fabulous. It was so clean and comfortable that it felt like our own home away from home immediately. It has everything you could possibly need including in the kitchen (even foods like eggs, oatmeal, jelly, etc). The patio was one of our favorite places to be, it is private and the patio furniture is very comfy. When I had a question, the host Lori was available quickly with the info I needed. We feel like we couldn’t have asked for more and highly recommend staying here.

Lori was the best hostess as she provided a really great house and help in planning our weekend in Waco. The house was just right for 4 college roommates! The two bedrooms and comfy sofa bed provided places for good rest and the cute kitchen had all we needed for getting started for the day. She has created a pretty, comfortable place to stay with so many amenities that make you feel right @ home there. Thanks Lori for a lovely time in Waco.

We were on a girls trip and took a couple days to check out Waco and the Silo's. We had the best time and our time at the NEST was wonderful. The house was perfect. Our host, Lori, has to be the best host ever. She was so kind and thoughtful. She gave us the best tips for around town. She left us the best snacks. The house has everything you could possibly want. We loved coming home and being together in such a wonderful atmosphere. Everything was perfect. If we get to Waco again, we want Lori to be our host!

Lori is amazing and the most thoughtful host and has thought of every tiny little detail you could possibly want or need while staying in her precious house and it's so close to everything! I love this house! Lori always goes out of her way to make her guests feel so special. We loved the peach cobbler and Blue Bell ice cream we were able to enjoy on our first nights stay! The home is clean, linens are always fresh, and she truly thinks of everything! Its fun to stay in a home that is decorated so nicely, and has plenty of personal touches to welcome her guests to their home away from home! Thank you Lori! We will of course rent again!

The house was so very comfortable and decorated so cute! Lori went went above and beyond for our trip to Waco. She left us a peach cobbler, ice cream, fresh eggs and all kinds of other grocery items. We felt so welcomed and spoiled! The beds were super comfortable! The house is in a great location to get to magnolia and other downtown Waco scenes.

My two girlfriends and I had the greatest time at The Nest! Every detail was taken care of. We enjoyed snacks, farm fresh eggs, peach cobbler, and ice cream that were left for us! The house is decorated very cute in the Fixer Upper style and we were truly able to relax and feel like we were in a home away from home. The home was clean in every way and was not too far to drive to see the Waco sights. We would totally stay here again. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

I cannot say enough about this precious home! We were first time visitors to Waco and the comfort and cute decor of this home was just what we were looking for - - and at a great price! The home was so clean felt newly painted and decorated. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and large TVs. The children slept on the fold out sofa in the living room and adored that they had their own "space." The patio is a great size and the rocking chairs perfect! The home owner left snacks, a homemade pie in the refrigerator, and eggs for breakfast! The amenities (hand soap), snacks, and coffee bar were well thought out and welcoming. There is a 10 minute drive to downtown but Waco has no traffic so its a breeze! We did find it felt centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. Lori could not have been more kind and helpful before and during our stay! Take a chance on this great bungalow! You will not regret it! Happy stay in Waco!

We booked The Nest for a girls’ weekend after reading the positive reviews. What a great decision! The home is beautifully decorated and located in a safe neighborhood. It is about 15 minutes away from the Silos and downtown. Lori went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We were surprised to find birthday cupcakes, party supplies, a homemade blackberry cobbler, and Blue Bell ice cream. She also provided fresh eggs and all the supplies needed for breakfast. Prior to arriving, she sent two emails full of great recommendations for restaurants and shopping. She made the whole process super easy from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this adorable house for anyone traveling to Waco.

We loved staying here!! The NEST was so comfortable, awesomely decorated, and immaculately clean ! Lori provided everything we could have ever wanted or needed for our short stay! The Nest was a lovely place for us to stay while on our trip to Waco. The house was wonderful, we couldn't possible have had a better place to stay while visiting the local sights. The house was adorable and was stocked with almost everything we could possibly have needed; the beds were very comfortable, with plenty of blankets and pillows. The location was great - not too far either direction to downtown Waco (Magnolia!) and to McGregor as well. Lori gave us tips on places to shop, eat, etc. I would definitely stay here again (or any of her other properties), she was great to work with. Thank you Lori for sharing your home with us!

I'm not even sure how to sufficiently summarize our stay at The Nest. It's important to mention that Lori did an incredible job with the décor and accommodations! We had four adult women and two small children in our party. We were very comfortably accommodated in the bedrooms and dining room. If I had to list one thing we missed, it would be additional, comfortable seating in the living room somehow, but that's being really particular...we'd still go back in a heartbeat.
Lori had left homemade blackberry cobbler (holy yum!), ice cream, and farm fresh eggs for us. The refrigerator/kitchen was well-stocked and the coffee bar was also well-utilized. The whole property is stocked with almost everything you could possibly need. You could get away with only bringing clothes and a toothbrush.
As far as location, it took us 15-20 minutes to get to everything-Magnolia. Spice Village is about the same distance as well. We were traveling with two vehicles, but only needed one during our stay. We parked one in the private garage and the other out front on the street - no issues.
Lori gave us lots of insider-info, which we greatly appreciated! She communicates easily and quickly. What a wonderful place in Waco, TX!

Lori went above and beyond to make this birthday celebration for my mom a memorable trip! She provided a birthday cake and party favors that were waiting on us when we arrived. The fridge was stocked with eggs, coffee, breakfast fixings... so nice! She also sent me several emails with must see sites, shops and restaurants. I would recommend this house to ANY visiting the Waco area!!!

The “”Nest” is even better than any review or picture depicts. Lori, was very professional, the home is just that a “HOME! “ Lori, had my granddaughter’s favorite treat donuts 🍩 and milk, fresh eggs, and so many other treats. The home was perfect for my mom, daughter in law, and granddaughter. The bedding, towels, kitchen, TV’s and granddaughter’s favorite the fenced in backyard with the twinkle light tree were absolute perfect. The recommendations that are given are spot on! The drive to Magnolia Silos so easy. I would highly recommend staying at this location. Great trip!

It was wonderful! The house was spacious for the 5 of us. The house was spotless & very well stocked right down to a birthday cake Lori was gracious enough to have waiting on arrival. The beds and bedding were amazing!
The outside patio was a great place to watch the sun go down along with a glass of wine that Lori also provided for us!
Lori, we all want to thank you for all the extra's, fresh eggs, pastry, flavored creams & assorted coffee's which is only a few of the items you left for us. As well as all the information on the Silo's & Magnolia Table. You have really spoiled us & we greatly appreciated it! We will be back!
