Such a beautiful place. Owner was warm and accommodating. If you stay here you will not regret it. Give Wilson our love
4.8
Our stay was short but very pleasant. We enjoyed the outdoor area, as is was a great way to relax after long days. The room was very clean and comfortable.
4.8
We were in Waco for a volleyball tournament over the weekend, and the cottage was just perfect! Everything about the stay was smooth, and having morning visits from Wilson the Wonderdog was definitely icing on the cake.
4.8
While the place is very nice, it was not what my husband and I expected! We saw all different types of statues, a ouija board, and signs around the property that made us feel uncomfortable. We didn’t even stay the night and told the host we didn’t use the bathroom or touch the bed and still didn’t even get a partial refund. We left because we felt uncomfortable and you could tell evil is in that property so be aware!
4.8
My parents and nephew enjoyed their stay at the cottage! The cottage and property are full of character and charm. The grounds were shaded and the paths led to all sorts of pretty areas to sit and linger in the outdoor space. Thank you for a wonderful stay for my family. We all loved meeting and playing with Wilson too!
4.8
The cottage is a fun and eclectic experience. The beautiful yard and fountain are a real bonus. It was clean and stocked with all the helpful amenities. We hope to return!

This place was perfect for our weekend away. Great backyard space with spaces to kick your feet up and enjoy the scenery.

This was an amazing property! Despite the heat we had, the only thing that could be missing is a pool lol. Seriously though, the owners made sure we had everything we needed, they checked in with us and made sure we had snacks and water. They left us a cute note and a bottle of wine to start off the stay. The area was very relaxing and everyday I found something new on the property that i didn’t see the day prior. They did a great job delivering on the experience they have created. The cottage is cozy and the towels and beds are comfortable. We will definitely book again!

We stayed for a few days in Waco at the Cottage and found it to be just perfect.
Clean, comfortable beds, good A/C.
Large gated yard with cool swings, Unique Yard Decor and Statues.
Very close to Cameron Park and Downtown
Will be happy to come back!

If you are looking for a quiet, serene, welcoming place to just be and relax, this is it. The cottage is tidy and comfortable and the decor is wonderfully eclectic. The grounds, though, are what make this property special. It is quiet and private and the owner has created a place that is soothing to mind and soul. There are trees and little nooks to rest in. There is an outdoor kitchen and a path that wanders through and everywhere you look there are little objects of beauty.
It is not picture perfect, but it is lovely in its uniqueness. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay. I was hoping it was in walking distance to Magnolia market but i felt it was just a bit far. Great city, tons of fun.. i would recommend and stay here again.
4.8
The property was fabulous. However, it makes no sense to have such a large and entertaining area and limit the number of visitors to 2.
4.8
Easy drive to everything we wanted to do
4.8
Easy. The location was perfect
4.8
It was the perfect place for a girls getaway weekend! Loved the tranquil atmosphere and all the gorgeous trees!!
4.8
Great location and adorable cottage.
4.8
Great little property in a beautiful neighborhood. The hosts were extremely thoughtful in everything. Will stay here again.

This was a cute cottage that our family enjoyed. We were only there two nights, so it was fine for us. Might be a bit small for a family staying longer. It’s ideal for a coupe though. There was construction in the property while we were there which was quite loud. But the construction is likely not ongoing. Would highly recommend for a coupe looking for a quiet getaway spot (assuming construction is finished!)
4.8
We absolutely love staying at the cottage! It was a rainy weekend but we found shopping nearby lots of cafes to try out and can’t wait to return again. The cottage is cozy, the grounds are a delight just to stroll around and be immersed in the decor. Beds are comfy as well, I can’t say enough good things about the owners and Waco Vacation Rentals! !

My son & I had a great time staying here this weekend. The owners were beyond awesome & helpful. The property is beautiful & huge. It was cold & rainy so we didn't get to enjoy the cantina too much but we did enjoy grilling out. Will definitely stay again if we are in Waco. Thank y'all so much.

Although you are about 10 minutes from Magnolia and the towels were good quality, but that’s pretty much where its
charms end.
I wish I could post photos.
There are cumbersome gates and codes to pass through on your way in and on your way out.
The actual property itself does have 2 beds; however there were corners cut on bedding and looked dusty/smelled musty. We were lucky enough to have brought a diffuser so it didn’t smell that way.
We found roaches scurrying around and my sister and I didn’t feel comfortable not wearing shoes because the floor is all concrete except for the bathroom tile.
The decor is…odd. and. dusty. A golden girls pillow, a brass monkey lamp, a flying wood angel on a string, a painting with voluptuous latin women with mustaches in a bustling market, a race car driving helmet???, 3 of those bending anatomical sculptures from Ikea (I guess this was the most updated..but…odd), a stuffed curled up beanie baby life size cat on the bed.
The bathroom fans were caked in dust and we found out once we tried to use them when we showered. *shudder*
The pipes to the bathroom sink suspiciously quaked and rattled to the outside of the bathroom.
The cantina we only saw the last day because it rained the whole time, but that bathroom…it was clear it had been given the majority of attention with soap, towel, granite countertop, and new trendy sink fixtures.
It seemed a little slap in the face that it wasn’t consistent with what they provided in the accommodations of the actual rooms.
The sheets…we decided it best to use the camping blanket I had brought instead.
The whole cleanliness of the place was questioned after the roaches and dust were prevalent.
The property decor and cleanliness looked like it was neglected overall. A life size statue was laying flat on the ground with leaves scattered and covering parts of it, cantina chair backs dirty, just a sight.
There were a few baby lizards that darted around in the bathroom, which didn’t bother us in the slightest.
However, we tried to reach out to the owner about the cleanliness and didn’t hear back until the end of the stay where it seemed we didn’t have the right contact info? Then someone did text and we let them know about some of the issues and received no response.
Avoid this place. Find a hotel. We nearly stayed in one, but our reservation was non refundable….and oddly the overall price was a pretty penny. Don’t make the same mistake.

We absolutely loved our stay! The backyard was so amazing! We loved building a fire with supplies given! We enjoyed our mornings in the meditation corner, and playing horseshoes was fun! It was such a peaceful visit! The location was perfect! Close to shopping and the Homestead Heritage community!
We will be back!

This property was exactly as it was portrayed in the advertisement. The instructions upon arrival were precise and easy to follow. The owners left a complimentary bottle of Chardonay which we enjoyed in the expansive grounds on our last night. The grounds/yard area is interesting and a great place to sit and enjoy. It's rustic so you might see a bug or two, but otherwise the place was great!
4.8
Unit did not meet premier host standards. The unit was dark, dusty, and musty. There was a small lizard in the shower. The snack crackers were out of date. The bottle of complimentary wine had been opened and was half gone.
We were also instructed to put our sheets in the washer and start it. The washer was in a shed across the property.
4.8
I felt so safe at this property traveling alone. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and had such a great conversation. The property is MAGICAL!! It is also so quiet in this neighborhood! I slept like a dream!
4.8
We loved the theming of this adorable cottage. It was the perfect getaway for my husband’s birthday trip. The property is well cared for and all of the outdoor relaxation spots are a bonus.
4.8
The cottage met all of our needs. The grounds were beautiful and the check in was flawless. Will definitely go back!
4.8
Backyard cottage was delightfully placed in an incredibly landscaped backyard with many nooks for sitting and soaking in nature. Cottage was comfortable and quirky. Around 2-3 miles from the silos and lots Waco sites. We came in extremely hot July and we know we’d enjoy this place even more in the fall or spring. Everything was well explained for arrival and departure. We are so glad we found this cozy hideaway!

Was very nice and quiet, right across Cameron park!

We loved this place. The yard is like being in a park and really exceeded my expectations. The cottage was comfortable and cozy. Really a fun but relaxing place to stay.
4.8
Cottage could use some sprucing up. It's dark & dreary inside. Also, when I turned the fan on above the second bed, an awful lot of dust flew everywhere. Outside the grounds are very nice & it's a peaceful & quiet place to sit.

The cottage is in a park-like setting with plenty of outside seating areas. We enjoyed just walking around exploring.

Great stay in a charming cottage

The cottage is very warm and inviting and the grounds are absolutely fabulous! It is the perfect place to decompress and relax. Thank you to the owner for offering such an oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of Waco! Fred definitely contributes to the relaxation! Everything was extraordinary!

We will definitely be going back. Waco is a fun town and this place was central to everywhere we wanted to go. We didn't want for any amenity.
