A fine way to celebrate my wife's birthday.

Superb food and very helpful staff especially in the diinng room on Saturday when we had the 'fine dinner'.

Me not knocking my head on the low ceiling in part of the suite.

Dining facilities, and menu. No restaurant menu only a tasting menu. The second restaurant only had a bar type men, hardly suitable for a supposedly high class hotel

Very pleasant, stunning views but definitely overpriced

The service was lovely and Rebecca was hands down a stand out - she had us in hysterics but was also super professional. The views were sturnning and the bar / lounge / restaurant area is very nice and the grounds are well kept.

We paid £490 for a standard double and there was only a shower, despite photos online showing there was a bath so that was disappointing. There was also stains on the carpet in the bedroom as well as some sinister looking marks on the bedthrow (!)...the shower got warm but not hot which again was disappointing. There was no extraction in the bathroom either and even when we were first shown the room, the room felt humid. I appreciate that the location is great but that's really what you are paying for as I've stayed in much nicer places for a similar price and this did not compare sadly.

We absolutely loved it

We absolutely loved it, we will be coming back for a minimum 2 night stay so we can try the other restaurant and the taster menu again - it was fantastic

Breakfast was incredible, staff was exceptional. It was NOT a cheap stay but we felt like we received the full value of what we paid. Highly recommend, especially for a splurge couple’s trip.

It was two perfect days!

A stunning location with perfect gardens surrounding a beautiful building which is perched high up, taking full advantage of the incredible views of the mountains and the lake. The decor is stunning in both the main building and the suites- the food is perfect and the staff are absolutely amazing. impossible to better!

Lovely ... sort out the heat in the room though

Food was lovely, location was great , such a calming stylish hotel.

It was absolutely roasting in the room... when I arrive the room was over 25 degrees C. even putting the air con on the lowest setting or off an opening the windows could not get the room below 21..
