Fabulous stay in Sintra

What a fabulous find. We were greeted by Nuno who was incredibly helpful and informative even with advice planning our time in Sintra. The apartment was lovely with fabulous details and breakfast delicious. There was even a secluded little garden to relax in. Fabulous position to explore the town. Thank you so much

Sintra is magical and Storytellers Villas is such a great place for quiet rest

The property is amazing…so beautiful! Be sure to see the garden. The appliances were so handy, and the bakery next door was so good.

The shower leaked excessive water on the floor. Hoping that gets repaired for the next guests!

A comfortable villa with a local feel

We liked that it had a little kitchenette to self-cater our breakfast. The room has been recently renovated and the decor is neat. It's clean, comfortable, and reasonably close to the sights of Sintra. There are enough cafe's and restaurants very near the villa that it's not necessary to go into Sintra Centro for eating. The host of the property is a genuinely nice and helpful person. He gave us a few great tips, a fruit bowl, and helped us with the parking.

The parking is public (but free) so you have to be lucky to get a spot. Sintra is an extremely busy tourist spot with very narrow roads to share between buses, pedestrians, bikes, tuk-tuks. The villa is close enough to use tuk-tuks and public transport. Walking to the sights from the villa is possible but not always comfortable.

A Gem in Sintra

Host was very nice and friendly. The unit was beautifully decorated and very clean. Our bed was super comfortable. Bathroom had a great rain shower. What we liked most was the owner's attention to details. There was a big bottle water in the fridge and a bowl of fresh fruits on the table. Didn't cost him a lot but the warm personal gesture was much appreciated! Also plenty of parking and a perfect place to stay if you want to visit Pena Palace.

Would definitely recommend if you are staying for few days in Sintra

We stayed in Storytellers Villas only for a night but had lovely experience. The staff are very welcoming and the apartment was very cosy and comfortable. It’s about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Sintra up in the hills. The breakfast wasn’t included and was very tasty but quite pricy almost €60 for 4.

Perfect stay!

Everything was perfect! Very welcoming staff, we travelled with a 10 month old, they had a highchair and bed as requested. The breakfast was amazing! Such wonderful hospitality! Highly recommended!

Overall, a wonderful experience

Marco and his team were wonderful hosts— very attentive to our needs. The room, breakfast, and other amenities were all superb. Marco’s advice on what to see and do was invaluable.

Not really a quiet environment— fair amount of construction nearby and a lot of activity and noise from the adjacent large parking lot.

fantastic and personal spot in Sintra

very accessible parking, incredible hosts, fantastic breakfast and daily travel planning advise. accommodations were near food transport (taxi, tuk-tuk etc but in a quiet area after 5:00 PM and easy to get to restaurants. thank you Marco and Nunoo for everything!

Everything was wonderful, if only we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful accomodation, cozy, clean, quiet and character! What more could you ask for? Great location! Wonderful staff and services! We were given a warm welcome by Marco, he was so helpful with loads of info and ideas for our stay. Our room had really lovely design touches and was perfect for my family of four. We opted for the breakfast at an additional charge. The meal was more than we had expected and doubled as lunch! Marco really blew the competition away by cooking a healthy, contemorary breakfast cuisine for us! We were in heaven! Sintra is well worth the visit and Storey Tellers made it feel like home!
