Easiest time we have had getting into the stay. The cabin is beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked. There are numerous outside options for eating and relaxing. It was super convenient for us to hike Mt. Mitchell.

The property itself was very nice and well furnished. However it is a very dark cabin with some lights working and some not. (Or very difficult to figure out what switch is supposed to work which light.). And even then not all were working. We had wanted to play our musical instruments and could not see to play. The kitchen is also very dark. Also, the sheets and blankets were laying on top of the bed and we had to put them on ourselves. I’ve never had to put sheets on at a place where I was paying to stay. They do not supply bar soap or body wash or shampoo either which would be fine IF they told you ahead of time. It’s quite a drive to the store. I emailed the property manager when we first arrived but received no response and so we decided to leave the following day. When I called him to let him know we were leaving he got very argumentative with me. He already had his money so I don’t know what difference it made to him. Also, a word of advice- do not try to get to this cabin from the south. We went from Black Mountain and it is a terrible drive with many hairpin curves.

Absolutely loved it. Went there for a family reunion in spruce pine. Loved everything about it.

Always enjoy our stay at Cabin Branch. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners. The gas grill wasn't working and they brought a new one out to us. Sadly we had to leave a day early due to a death in our family. We will return next year. Very good location with lots of great hiking and waterfalls near by.

Lovely little place in the woods. The sound of the creek outside was great! Would definitely recommend this property.

What an adorable and enchanting cabin! The location, decor, THREE large outdoor spaces, soothing sound of the creek.. we fell in love with this place and will be back in the Fall!

The cabin was relaxing and perfect - the outdoor area was my favorite! What a magical little haven.

This pleasant 2 BR/2 B cabin is just lovely. The screened porch includes a sofa and space for 4 around a table; perfect for dinner or games while the front and back porches provide a relaxing space to sit and enjoy the babbling brook running right next to the house. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of silver and dish ware. I would rent this cabin again.

The cabin was clean and welcoming exactly as advertised.

Very quiet and relaxing cabin!! The gas fireplace was great for the very cold weekend. Definitely returning again!

It was a great 3 night stay in this amazing Cabin! We had arrived right at check-in time received a welcome call from the owner checking in on us! The cabin has a screened in deck that we so enjoyed and the creek next to the deck has little water falls to add to the music of nature. We had the opportunity to hike a few trails with our dog Skye and was just what we needed. We will be back again as the Blue Ridge Parkway was closed due to heavy storms while we are there. Kind Regards, Elaine & Nick

Exactly what he hoped for. Host was very accommodating to a last minute pet addition, called shortly after our arrival which was a very personal touch and much appreciated.
Hope to have the opportunity to return.

This place was truly a piece of heaven on earth with the peaceful creek and beautiful birds that came to eat from the birdfeeder you could see while sitting comfortably in front of the fire. The owner was kind to have a few Christmas decorations up for us so I didn’t have to pack those as well. The local shops were perfect as well as I searched for supplies and souvenirs to help me remember this wonderful week when we return to our busy lives. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us!

We wanted a quiet relaxing mountain cabin stay. This cabin nailed this. Very comfortable for 2 couples

What an amazing property! Nice big porches (one of them screened), a nice little creek running from the back of the property along the side made for a tranquil sound while on the porch! House had everything you would need, it was very clean, and right of of 80, which is an amazing mountain road. Loved everything about it, can’t wait to return!

The cabin was well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, and bedding. The cabin could use a thorough deep clean. Lots of dust and cobwebs in corners and on curtain valances etc. We spent nearly two hours vacuuming when we arrived. Once that was done, we enjoyed the cabin—especially the screened in porch and gas fireplace.

This is a beautifully decorated cabin. We love to hike and especially enjoy waterfalls. This was a perfect location for all of that, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and access to many waterfall hikes. And we also enjoyed early mornings and late evenings sitting in front of the fire with a cup of coffee. It’s a lovely place to come back to after a day of hiking. The screened in porch was great, it was even warm enough a couple of days that we could sit outside and enjoy the nature around us. We would definitely come back!

Enjoyed our short but sweet stay at the cabin which is located on a beautiful piece of property with a babbling brook that’s very tranquil. The inside of the cabin is spacious and comfortable with a beautiful stone fireplace. We enjoyed taking a short walk to the golf course to walk our dog, it’s such a pretty area. The cabin is centrally located to trails to hike, Mount Mitchell the Blue Ridge Parkway and my favorite Linville Winery! We all had a great time and will definitely be back.

We’ve been coming back to Cabin Branch for over a decade. Beautiful location, comfortable and well appointed. It’s cozy and elegant at the same time!

Quiet, beautiful...easy to get to Burnsville, Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway...Responsive owner when power went out due to major thunderstorm...Excellent experience.

We enjoyed our week at Cabin Branch so much! Cabin is comfortable, peaceful, and just as described. The porch was great, and we ate our meals there, talking and laughing, listening to the sound of the stream just feet away. The deck out back was our coffee spot. I only wish we could have stayed much longer! Thank you, Ron, for sharing your slice of paradise!

If you like a remote slice of heaven, book the stay. 6 star for sure. The pictures are great, the experience is outstanding.

We all enjoyed your tranquil location and your warm inviting decorations. It was a great home for the weekend. A round of golf in the mountains was great with the treat of watching a fly fisherman snag a nice size trout. Our stay was delightful, Thank you.
Ps
We did have an issue with a few bees & hornets in the home and not determine how they got in.

We really enjoyed our relaxing week here. The cabin was cozy and the furniture and beds were comfortable. The location is great for hiking - the 6 trails we hiked were within 2 miles of the cabin. And the porches were great for relaxing outside and enjoying the spring sunshine after a day of hiking. Thanks!
