Wonderful place to stay with the entire family!
8.0
The grounds were the nicest we've had in the 7 times we've had vacationing with entire extended family...3 generations. We played pickle ball in the mornings when it was cooler and spent the afternoons in the pool. Evenings were spent playing board games, pool and karaoke in the media room. A great time was had by all.

This property fit our large family very well. We enjoyed every last inch of it. We had one issue with the main house oven that was a challenge, but we made due. The property manager was responsive and did all she could to get it fixed while we were still there though. Air conditioning in the main house upstairs has a hard time fighting the heat so keeping all window coverings down and fans on during the day are key, especially if you need it cold in order to sleep well. But like the bugs, that's life in the South! The pool area is just beautiful and felt like a resort. The cabin was perfect and had zero issues. Highly recommend the house!

Really awesome property! Jordan was great to work with and we were all really happy with the house.

First of all Jordan was outstanding in communicating, meeting us and our wedding coordinator at the property to discuss suggestions for our wedding. The venue was the perfect property to allow our family's to gel and enjoy the weekend together prior to the wedding day. The wedding day was beautiful because the grounds alone created the magnificent, natural surroundings wth flowers and beautifl landscape. Overall, the Willett House is a 5 star venue for family reunions, corporate events and even intimate weddings. Thank you for allowing us to create amazing memories!

The original house we booked was changed on us due to construction. Second house (the one we stayed in) met our standards perfectly fine. We had a “bachelor” party that was staying there and felt like that was used against us when neighbors complained even though there was no outside music. There were other threats the last night about music and extra people on the property but I somewhat expected this to happen with a large group of guys. Security came and checked everything out which they said all is good and laughed we weren’t having more fun. If you want to use a “bachelor” party against someone then you shouldn’t let them come anyways. I said that from day one because I wanted to be up front. We kept the house VERY clean and were very respectable to everyone. The golf course is beautiful! Overall it was a great trip with a two hour period that was not the best time.
Overall, would definitely recommended!

The Estate was simply amazing! We slept 20 easy and had a great weekend! Didn’t go anywhere else except for out on the lake in 2 pontoon boats which were provided right at the docks of the property. Property manager Jordan was easy to work with and also the front gate security staff was excellent! Will be back for sure!

Our family of 25 had a fantastic time at the Estate. We rented the Pontoon boat and enjoyed water skiing and tubing (those were rented at a local marina). The lake was not busy at all, and it felt like we were the only ones out there at times. The pool was beautiful, and the pavilion was great for taking a break from the hot sun. Grandpa fished at the pond and the lake twice a day with his grandkids, and lots of fish were caught, especially at the pond. There were daily battles for the top scores on the arcade games too. All in all, we had a wonderful week!

Overall, the week was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the spacious property and house’s. For a group of 17 adults and 10 children, we never felt cramped. The lake was beautiful, and we definitely recommend bringing a boat or renting theirs. The only negative we had was that the pool was too warm. It was a very hot week and the pool stayed in the 90’s. It could definitely use a sun shade for those hot Georgia summer days. Communication with Jordan was great, and we will definitely rent this house again if we decide to stay in GA again!

We had our family reunion at this beautiful property. There was so much space and entertainment for all ages. The home and cabin are both spacious and tastefully decorated. The pool and pavilion provide the perfect place to hang out and the grounds, pond, porches, and fire pits offer a peaceful place to chill. This property does not disappoint!

Third time staying here. We had 21 people for a work retreat. It was perfect! Plenty of seating, and beds. The kitchen had everything we needed. Looking at bringing my extended family for a family retreat.

25 members of my family, including 8 little ones, came together for a week of fun and camaraderie. The Estate was perfect as we could be all together for our meals and Christmas morning stockings, and also have so many activities to share in smaller groups, such as kayaking and canoeing, pool, long walks in the woods, hot tubbing, theater performances, etc. We could also explore the lovely nearby countryside. It was fabulous.

Everything in the pictures is as described and we couldn’t have had a better time. Only point of clarity is for fueling the boat after usage as we weren’t sure where to fuel it up at so we defaulted to having them refuel it at a charge. Otherwise a perfect stay!

The photos and description of the property are very accurate and the house and grounds are beautiful and comfortable. No one ran out of delightful things to do from watching football, to the pool, hot tub, pavilion, water sports, billiard tables, talking to the horses, or walks around the farm. Delightful in every way.

We took our annual family vacation here August 2022. We are already planning to return next year.
The property manager Jordan was very professional and knowledgeable about all the details of the rental from start to finish. Communication was fast and helpful.
The property is well maintained and has all the amenities you would expect from an experience at this level and more. It lives up to the pictures, but pictures can't compare to the experience. The pool, pavilion, kayaks, Canoe, fire pits, hammock, swings, arcade games, theater room, billiards, private docks, views, and tranquility come standard. They also have a Pontoon boat on the property for an extra fee. Honestly it feels like they thought of everything.
The property is located just minutes away from a Publix, Jet ski rentals, shopping, and all things essential to lake vacationing.
Hands down a true next level property and experience. We were a group of 15 and the house was still spacious enough to swallow us whole. We could have easily accommodated 20 people once the guest house comes into play.
Can't wait to do it again.

Lake Oconee Paradise
Our family (23) have just concluded a wonderful week at the most incredible property! The main house was very spacious. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of dining in the multiple indoor and outdoor areas. Entertainment abound with pool table, multiple arcade games and theater room. Outdoor area spectacular with pool and jacuzzi! Guest house with plenty of cabin charm and two large bedrooms and an amazing pond/small lake filled with bass, brim, catfish and an occasional turtle. Easy access to Lake Oconee with 2 large docks with pontoon boat and 2 jet ski drive up docks. Property located minutes from golf course and main road to shopping and eating. Property owner and management first class. Well worth every penny! Thank you Jordan ! Thank you Mark!

Fabulous Family Fun
This was our family's second year at The Estate. As before, it was amazing. Jordan is very responsive to any need and everything was exactly as described. The only negative (which is not a huge issue) is that there were quite a few light bulbs burned out. Other than that, everthing was wonderful.

Paradise in Georgia
The estate may be one of the most beautiful places I have seen. The pool complex was amazing and rivals any 5 star resort. There were plenty of lounge chairs and a cabo ledge in the pool for sunning and the little ones. For those who didn’t want the sun, there was a beautiful covered area with giant fans which you definitely need in the Georgia summer. Lake access was easy and they had kayak and canoe to use. The kids loved the paddle boat on the pond. The kitchen was perfect and there was
plenty of seating for meals. Everyone loved the covered patios when a little rain came through. The house was beautiful and well maintained. The host Jordan was patient and easy to reach and check in was a breeze. I do not think you could find a better place for any small gathering. It was by husbands 60th birthday and we had people come from 4 states. Everyone had the best time and look forward to the next time!!

Best place we’ve ever stayed
Property was extremely well maintained, no issues with any of the appliances, furniture was all in great shape. There was even plenty of dishes and silverware to support our group. Can’t wait to book the place for next time.

Wonderful stay
We had an amazing stay at the house over New Year’s Eve. We were a large group of friends and small families with kids and there was so much room to roam and fun activities. Multiple entertainment spaces, activities on the lake and the kids loved feeding the horses.
Communication and check in process was super streamlined and efficient
The only improvement that could be made is the technology on the TVs which felt a little dated.

Great Place For Family!
We rented this home for a Christmas gathering for our family of 17, ages 6 to 74. We were thrilled with the property and all it had to offer! We especially liked the large living area and the way it flowed into the kitchen and informal dining space so we could all move around comfortably at the same time. Of course, everyone enjoyed the pool room, theater and arcade games; and, it was warm enough outside for us to walk the amazing grounds, sit on the porches, and relax in the hot tub. There was certainly plenty to do without ever leaving the property! There was even a Christmas tree and holiday decorations in the house, plus two gas fireplaces for ambience. Thank you to the owners, to vrbo, and especially to our manager Jordan for a truly memorable stay!
Note: Two of the ten bedrooms, and two bathrooms, are located in the Guest House, a separate, more rustic cottage a short walk from the house. Also, one of the bedrooms in the main house does not have access to a bathroom except through someone else’s room. Of course, all this can be worked out with pre-trip plannng.
One more thing: Bring your own shower soap or gel.

Amazing pool, nice place, odd bedrooms, and unexpected workers
This is a beautiful property with a great pool inside a gated community. The house is huge and well furnished, and it perfectly accommodated our family reunion.
The only hesitation I would have in recommending the house is that we had multiple odd interactions with people maintaining the house. Specifically, someone with the crew maintaining the yard repeatedly asked us for a “donation” for his ailing son. In addition, someone unexpectedly showed up to change out some equipment in the theater in the middle of the stay, requiring him to access the master bedroom. Neither of these interactions was a big deal, but I would generally expect better communication from the host if someone was going to need access to the house during a weeklong stay.
Otherwise, we highly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, quirky house.

outstanding experience!
We were a family of 12 arriving from Pennsylvania, Arizona and Florida. Three generations had the opportunity to meet and play! The property was absolutely wonderful for our mixed bunch! The best place was the pool and pavilion! I highly recommend the pontoon boat! We had so much fun on the water! The kitchen was a chefs dream. A different family cooked each night - they found everything they needed to feed us all. The kids were enthralled with the horses and the geese. A truly wonderful experience. Thank you to the Willets and to Jordan !!!

A perfect family reunion venue
Our family enjoyed our time together at this lovely, fully accommodating home! The pool was the major hit for our youngsters! The pontoon boat was a relaxing way to see & enjoy Lake Oconee! We will definitely consider coming back to the plantation House for our next reunion!

Wonderful property
Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfect for lake access and is so very peaceful. The pool and pavilion are just a few steps from the house and great for those wanting to be in the sun and those that just want to watch the fun from the shade. We will definitely be returning.

Gorgeous place, large and well maintained. Property manager was terrific. Wedding the night before we moved in may have overdone it. Some bad smells in the house as a result.
