This is the nicest VBRO we have stayed in, and we hope to rent it again for future visits to the area. The rental is located in an attractive tree lined neighborhood. We loved the landscaping, windows and light, and the quality furniture, appliances, and supplies provided. I cooked several meals for my family and everything I needed to cook was available. I was nervous about the parking in Washington DC, but there was always a parking spot immediately outside the apartment (need to register and apply for a parking permit from the DC). The communication with the property manager was excellent. This is an exceptional rental and we highly recommend it.

This is a fantastic rental property. It's very clean, the beds and pillows are super comfortable, it's spacious, the kitchen is stocked with all sorts of kitchen utensils, it's close to transportation (across the road from the bus stop and about 10 minute walk to the metro), and it's in a lovely neighborhood. The only downside is that there are no coffee shops nearby. It's about a 20 minute walk to the nearest cute commercial area with nice restaurants and coffee shops (near the National zoo).

Very nice, clean apartment in a great, calm area if DC. This was one of the best equipped and furnished apartment we ever found: high quality appliances, kitchenware, utensils, etc. The queen sofa bed (American Leather) is rated as the most comfortable in the country and the kids loved it! Instructions were very clear and the owner (great comms!) accommodated a special request at chech-in. The space distribution is very efficient with very capable closets. The area is very nice and safe, with nice groceries (wegman’s, whole foods, giants) very close. There is also a new public swimming pool at walking distance!

It's location was perfect for us. Quiet neighborhood with easy walking to both Wisconsin and Connecticut avenues. Comfortable apartment. Everything was excellent.

The property is fantastic! We had everything we needed. After spending our days touring we relaxed in the evening and made dinner each night in the well stocked kitchen. My 16 year old twins slept comfortably on the pull out couch and enjoyed having all of the television options that we don't have at home!

Cute apartment in a great neighborhood. It was easy to hop on the bus ( included in our weekly metro pass)right across the street or take a 10-15 minute walk to the metro stop. Everything inside was clean and nice. We enjoyed the outside sitting area as well.

This 1 bedroom rental is on a quiet tree-lined street near DC University, embassies, food, grocery, metro and Georgetown. Great communication from upstairs owner Roger. He even popped in when we needed help with the tv. Rental is a 13 minute walk to metro and short Uber to DC mall. The neighborhood is residential with many families walking kids to school, exercising and living the good life. Restaurants are a plenty, keyless entry a breeze and patio is a nice place to relax after a busy day. My husband and I rented for GWU graduation and it could not have been better. Thanks Roger. We may be back July 2023.

Just a lovely visit! (Maybe a king bed next time?😊)

We could not accommodate more than two people in or condo so we sought a rental in our neighborhood. This a beautiful and spacious apartment. My son and his girlfriend were very comfortable and enjoyed the serene beautiful neighborhood. Will certainly consider this apartment in the future.

Convenient grade level entry fronting on street with street parking availability. Primary bedroom was spacious with a queen size bed. Spacious living room with a pull out sofa. Well equipped kitchen with standard appliances. Full size washer and dryer. Single compact bathroom with not much counter space. Host was responsive to questions. Nice neighborhood.

The apartment was everything I needed for my 4- night stay - the hosts have provided everything you could want. The place is spacious and nicely furnished, and the neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. Communication was good and the instructions for entry were clear. The pillows were very comfortable, and the mattress is extremely firm - I prefer a softer bed, but was still able to get a good night's sleep. One note: the thick brick walls mean you don't hear street noise, but there's pretty much no insulation between floors, so I could hear everything upstairs - walking, talking, tv, music, etc. It wasn't a big deal most of the time, but I was woken up a couple of mornings, and the neighbors weren't being particularly noisy. The sound carries. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

My cousin and I decided to meetup in Washington DC to see the Smithsonian for a week. Communication with the owner was very good and the checkin was easy...thanks to very easy to follow detailed instructions. We were only a 15 minute walk to the Metro and a Whole Foods which made it very convenient and we didn't need to rent a car. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. I slept on the pullout couch and my cousin slept in the bed in the bedroom with the enclosed french doors, so we could each have separate rooms to sleep more comfortably. The neighborhood was quiet with beautiful homes and an abundance of mature trees. Loved walking around the area. Lovely and peaceful place. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect place for our family of 4 to stay while exploring our nation’s capital. Wonderful, safe neighborhood. Extremely clean. Much attention was put into the details. This place has everything you need. Shampoo, conditioner, soap in the shower, extra linens, hairdryer, everything needed for cooking, even condiments in the fridge! A short drive to downtown. Parking right out front. We will definitely be staying here again. Thanks to Roger for a wonderful vacation!

Visiting family, this is a perfect place for me. The apartment is comfortable and well furnished to share time with my children and grandchildren who live near. It is a little bit of a walk to the Whole Foods and metro, but definitely doable - and I am 80!

This was our third stay here and we had another very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The apartment has all that you could ask for and is really well located for shops, restaurants and transport.
Roger is very responsive to any request or inquiry you may have.

It was a pleasure to stay at Roger’s condo. It is perfectly located on a quiet street and minutes from several bus and rail lines heading to the National Mall. The property is modern, very well equipped and spotless. It was also great to have parking just in front of the condo.

My wife and I had a wonderful six days. The place was near friends, and convenient to getting out and about. We went to restaurants, Hillwood Estates, and the Smithsonian Zoo. We hope to return.

The apartment was wonderful and clean. We felt like we were living in the suburbs of DC with easy parking on a beautiful street. Trader Joes was a 5 minute drive away and a 10-15 minute walk to the train station but safe and easy walk. Train ride is about another 10-15 minutes to the heart of the city. The pull out sofa was nice and comfortable for my 15 year old. Overall we had a really great experience and can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful property and nice neighborhood. Very friendly and responsive host. Excellent kitchen and everything was in great condition. Ten minute walk to 2 different metro stops. Nice location to explore Zoo, Chevy Chase and other neighborhoods.

Our family used this unit as our base for five days in DC. The apartment was perfect for us and was one of the most complete VRBOs we have stayed in to date. All of the essentials were covered as well as many extra touches. The apartment was very quiet, beautifully decorated and clean as can be. Another big plus for us was having a city bus stop directly across the street and two Metro stops within walking distance, as we relied upon transit during our stay. Roger was an excellent host and even accommodated our early arrival by letting us store our bags until the unit was ready. We will definitely use this location when we come back to DC.

Perfect home away from home!
This apartment was just what we needed after long days of touring DC! Comfortable, attractive and well-appointed for all our needs. Street parking was safe and convenient. Even felt “at home” with Louisiana themed artwork! We would stay again.

A quiet get away in a bustling city!
This was a wonderful place to stay. The location was in a beautiful part of town, quiet and very walkable to Metro. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. There was a quaint outside patio and BBQ. The interior decor was lovely and kitchen was fully stocked. Our host made himself
accessible if needed. Perfect spot!

Perfect Oasis for a Stay in DC
Well appointed, modern, spacious and comfortable space for short or longer stay. Central to the DC sites, restaurants, and shops. Quick trip to Georgetown and Old Town Alexandria. Loved cooking in the kitchen and relaxing at the end of the day. We will definitely return.

The apartment couldnt have been more convenient to the Metro and restaurants and Whole Foods. Loved all the windows and light from outside. We thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood and convenience. The only thing that would have made this the absolute perfect place would have been a softer king size bed.
