The place is great and we have a terrific time! The perfect amount of space for a teen and two adults. Everything is close and having the parking space was a huge benefit. Definitely recommend!!

This was the perfect place for my husband, daughter and I to stay to see DC. We appreciated having a place to park. It was quiet and close to a Safeway & Trader Joe’s. After being out all day we all enjoyed going “home” and relaxing. We also needed the kitchen, washer and dryer. I gave 4 stars for accuracy & cleanliness due to the shower door being off and there being a clear curtain. That grossed out my husband & I. Also, on our first day I stepped on a piece of glass in the bathroom & cut my foot. When I opened the washing machine, there was a bunch of brown hair that fell out. The only other issues was that we didn’t see a TV remote, so we just used our phones, wasn’t a big deal. Then there is a piece of paper taped over the microwave, which I thought was weird. I’m telling the bad, but we loved the location and it was very comfortable. It really was what we needed for this trip. We would stay here again if we came back. Communication was quick and easy. Plenty of pillows and blankets. My daughter slept well on the couch & the bed is comfortable, which at most other rentals I haven’t found that to be the case. Check out was a breeze. It really was a great experience. We enjoyed DC! Parking is a challenge, but there is so much to do.

We had three main criteria for selecting a place to stay: cleanliness, location and reasonable pricing. This place checked those boxes and more! The Metro is an easy 10 minute walk, so it was not necessary for us to rent a car or Uber. Only a 5 minute walk away was an excellent grocery store, which was great for nights we decided to stay in. The owners were terrific hosts, answering all our questions in a timely manner. We have three teens, and the space was ample for all five of us. We'd return in a heartbeat!

If this property is something you're considering - just book it now! It is quiet, safe, convenient walk to a new Safeway, wonderful walking neighborhood. Appliances are high end and in perfect working order. The hosts have done a thoughtful job of providing many basic amenities. Keurig and coffee pods, ample detergent for the clothes washer, plenty of paper products. Wifi is fast and supports streaming. The hosts live in the two upper floors (the rental has a separate and private entrance), and they have a toddler. You will sometimes hear the pitter patter of little feet, but there was not any disruption at all, and it was always quiet above until at least 8:00 a.m. We enjoyed 9 days there, and would be thrilled to return.

I recently stayed for 3 days after a conference I had. The place was very clean and the entry process was seamless. The neighborhood was in a great spot within the city and I was able to travel easily to different sites in the city. Overall a wonderful experience. The only thing negative I can say (which is uncontrollable) is that you could hear some noise from the unit above because of the set up of the building. This was during reasonable hours though and was only a minor nuisance. Otherwise, this staywas great! I would definitely stay again!

Cons: Instructions getting to the stay were confusing. Seems like you have to hope for parking in the front to be able to get through the apartment to open the garage in the back (need 2 people?). I was confused by that so needed to reach out to the host who answered quickly and opened the garage for us manually. It is VERY tight in the back alley for parking. Walls are a bit dirty in common areas of the apartment. Pros: Centrally located, super cute neighborhood, friendly/quick to respond host, king bed, tv and working AC/Heating. Plenty of amenities, even coffee pods and pots and pans. Overall stay went well. Just a bit of a rocky start due to instructions being slightly unclear. :) Thanks for the stay!

Check in process was very easy. Tommy was very responsive to any questions we had. Our stay was perfect the place was cozy and everything you need with supplies it was available. The restaurants, coffee shops and metro was walking distance.

We had a wonderful time here. Very clean, close to everything we needed, great hosts. Having a safe place to park our car was a bonus! We ended up using Uber to go to the museums and mall and left the car so we didn’t need to worry about parking. I will definitely look for availability at this location when we go back to DC.

This was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Washington DC. We were located close to the sights, as well as restaurants and shops. The neighborhood was very safe and the residents were friendly. The place itself was clean and had everything we needed for our weeklong stay, including a private parking location that came in very handy!

My family and I had a short stay here,but it was exceptional. The apartment is in a great location. It is close to all the sightseeing as well as the Nationals baseball stadium. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and the parking was a huge bonus. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need organized and labeled. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit DC.

Very nice location, super convenient to walk to the metro or the grocery store. Very safe area, spotlessly clean. 12 year old was totally comfortable on the couch in the living room. We really appreciated the private parking space which allowed us to securely leave our car for the day while we used the metro to get us to all the sights. Great communication from the hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

Our family of four had a great stay here - it was in a nice neighborhood with close proximity to the metro and supermarkets. The kids slept on a comfortable blow up queen mattress and a foam single mattress and although it was cosy, we all slept very well. There were great appliances, good coffee machine and we appreciated the laundry facilities. All in all a perfect base to explore the sights of DC. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a lovely stay in D.C. This property was about a 30-45 minute walk or 10-15 minute Uber to anywhere we wanted to go. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. I only wish we’d been able to stay longer.

Great VRBO in DC. Best part was the off street parking, not covered, but enclosed and locked. We parked the car 1st day and never used it until we left. Metro is a 10 min walk and will take you anywhere you want to go cheap and easy. Place was super clean and exactly as advertised.

The condo was very comfortable with all necessary amenities. Thomas was there when we checked in, which was good, because we were given the wrong code to the door! The place is within easy walking distance of great restaurants and the metro. It was a delightful stay and we would do it again. Thanks, Thomas!

We had the pleasure of staying in this cozy basement apartment for 7 nights while we were in DC! Quiet neighborhood is very conveniently located to the Capitol, Eastern Market Metro station, a large Safeway grocery store, and a Trader Joe's. Quick ride to the Smithsonian Metro station to tour the museums. Well laid-out kitchen included what we needed to cook several lunches and dinners as well as Keurig coffee maker/pods for the mornings. Private parking was a plus, but there was also on-street parking available with a pass provided by the Host.

This quiet neighborhood isn’t lacking in charm or provisions to meet your needs. The private parking spot takes away all the stresses of parking and unloading. We were able to spend our days seeing DC and have a cozy space to unwind.
