Property was immaculate with well stocked kitchen and extras ( bath towels, beach towels, toiletries). Great view and enjoyable peace eating on the deck and/or eating on the private dock. This property was very comfortable for 4 adults. We didn't need to communicate with host since everything was so well prepared. Great location to access many activities and the beach. Garage parking is small but we took our smaller Outlook which fit perfectly and we didn’t have to search for parking. We will definitely be back for another enjoyable stay!!

We enjoyed our stay when we checked in we had a beautiful view right on the harbor were able to watch the boats come and go, and it was actually a very quiet area with just some small groups or couples walking by from time to time the property is spotless, and the people are great to work with. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful view in this very comfortable condo overlooking the bay. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the boats. The host was easy to get in touch with for questions, allowed us to check in early and even provided a bottle of wine, water and chocolates, a thoughtful touch. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location near the Fun Zone on Balboa Island. Walking distance to water sports (kayaks, Duffy boats) and the beach. VERY clean, but a small property with only one shower and a likely another VRBO below.

Cute upstairs unit with a great view and a private balcony. Nice cooling breeze and great location, walking distance to The Fun Zone and restaurants/shopping. We usually stay on Balboa Island but this was a wonderful spot too and we're glad we tried the peninsula! Kathy was a wonderful host and very accomodating. Unit was very clean and nicely appointed. Great host! Thank you!

Fantastic beach cottage with gorgeous view

We spent 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The cottage is so charming, sparkling clean and well-equiped with everything you might need including a thoughtful welcome gift of wine, sparkling water and chocolates. The location is great— it’s quiet and away from the crowds but an easy 5 minute walk to the tourist zone and ferry to Balboa Island. Having a designated parking space in the garage was very handy since street parking is challenging. The host was friendly and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our vist and highly recommend this unit.

Amazing location!

The highlight of this rental is the balcony overlooking the harbor. We loved watching the boats, people and wildlife. The location is within walking distance of a public dock, the fun zone, the Balboa Island Ferry, the fishing pier, and many restaurants. We loved Mint Leaf, Malibu Farms and the Lighthouse. The kitchen needs a bit of TLC, but the bathrooms were updated and the entire home was nicely appointed. We brought our SUPs and enjoyed launching them off the private dock, so easy! Kathy was very responsive and helpful.

We enjoyed an amazing holiday family getaway. The upper unit condo was perfect in every way, spectacular harbor waterfront views and a very short walk to the beach. Condo is beautifully maintained and comfortable. Even better than the pictures. The Newport holiday boat parade is spectacular. We had the best view from the balcony. Kathy, Property Manager was excellent. Great friendly and professional communication, Kathy made the rental process very easy and was always available to answer questions. Kathy kept in touch with us during our visit to see if we needed anything and sent us a list of things to do in Newport. A nice welcome note, wine and chocolates from Kathy was a great personal touch. Kathy definitely goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable and well taken care of. We will rent from Kathy again! The Vance Family, San Diego, CA.

We had a wonderful time here just prior to Christmas. We picked the location as the perfect viewing spot for the Newport Boat parade and it did not disappoint. It is right on the boardwalk and we took our young kids to the Fun Zone and rode the ferry as well. It is the opposite side of the ocean on the marina side, which was great for the winter season. We didn't have a need to be on the sand as it was too cold. The downstairs added on a studio that was perfect for the grandparents. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it for families, couples, or anyone wanting to a great getaway to the beach

The lovely apartment on the bay side of the peninsula was the perfect spot! We spent Thanksgiving weekend at the apartment and could not have found a better place. Very close to ferry, beach and fun zone. So much to do! We especially enjoyed the little dock. It’s a nice quiet area with beautiful views. Apartment was very clean and has everything needed for a wonderful weekend.

Cute place in a great location with a beautiful view. This spot was very quiet and a lovely place to enjoy walking, reading or just relaxing with a glass of wine on the patio or dock. The property manager was great too. She left us a sweet note with a bottle of wine and chocolates! That was above and beyond!!

We have a son in LA and wanted a place we could consider home for a long weekend and enjoy our time together. The home what’s been redone the owners have made it easy to just move in - beach chairs and all! They have thought of everything! The unit is not air conditioned but our evenings there had a cool breeze! Kathy was extremely accommodating and just wanted to make sure we had a great week and we did!!!

Loved this location!! Close to everything and view is to die for. This place changed my opinion on bayfront versus oceanfront. I’ll take bayfront any day. Condo was perfect. Nice and cozy and very well kept. Kathy was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions before our stay. We rented the top floor bay front unit and added in one of the studios as we had extra guests. Both units were stocked with bottled water, wine and chocolate treats. Such a nice touch. We hope to book again soon. Our favorite Newport spot yet!!

We stayed 4 nights at Kathy's place in August and it was great. The place is very clean and it's set up with everything you need. Kathy also left a bottle of wine and chocolates on the counter for us and she was incredibly nice to deal with and very responsive. The location is perfect. Beautiful views of the harbor from the deck and a very quick walk to the ocean beach. Would stay here again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Everything was in working order and comfortable! The deck was perfect to sit, relax and watch the boats coming and going. The Fairy is a very short walk to take to Balboa Island (fee is only $1). Two Thumbs Up!

What a lovely condo. Perfectly located and very comfortable. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. The patio overlooking the water was one of our favorite spots to hang out. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen had what we needed to make a few meals at "home". Also, close to the Fun Zone and the beach within walking distance. Our host, Kathy, was so nice and hospitable. She communicated well, gave us some great recommendations and checked in on us to make sure all was well. I highly recommend and hope to return some day soon.

My family and I had a great stay. Our host Kathy was very kind and always quick to respond to any questions we had. The property was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The balcony overlooking the water is a great place to relax. The location is also walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and stores. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Newport.

Kathy was so great to work with - immediately responsive and helpful. This house on the bay was super for my hubby and I and our lil' girl! We brought our kayak and paddle board and lucked out on the weather in March! Being able to get right in the water from our place was perfect....as was being near the "fun zone" for our little one. The house was comfy and clean and we would stay here again when we come back to Southern CA to see family!

This property is managed with TLC. We were so impressed with the cleanliness. The beds were comfy and towels fluffy. I realized when we arrived that I had forgotten to pack beach towels and a beach tote. I opened the hall closet and there were some there for us to use. The kitchen was well equipped and it was a nice touch to have a personal greeting card and a little welcoming treat. It is in a great location and it was fun to watch the boats go by and listen to the relaxing chiming of the sailboat riggings. Short walk to the beach, restaurants, the ferry and pier. Parking in a garage big enough for a Toyota Camry sized car. We had 2 couples and a 13 yo and this place worked great!
